Summary
This is a character study and redemption arc for Minoru Mineta. I wanted to explore what it would look like if he started taking things seriously not by changing who he is entirely, but by growing from where he already is. The story begins right after finals and follows him through small, natural steps: gaining confidence, realizing his classmates do care about him, and slowly shifting from wanting to be admired just to feel cool, to wanting to be someone his friends can genuinely rely on. It’s still canon-compliant, keeping his flaws and comic relief moments, but it’s also about giving him a real emotional journey. At its core, this is about Mineta figuring out what kind of hero he wants to be and what kind of person he actually is. I’ll do my best to keep everyone’s dialogue true to their canon voices, but I might slip up here and there.
