BANG. BANG, BANG. "MIKEY WAKE UP?!"..I groan as I heard screaming..I sit up in my bed and grab my mask.."MIKEY, WE HAVE TRAINING WAKE UP-" I open the door and glare at him "Dude chill, I'm up" I say as Raph walks away to the dojo most likely, I sigh as I follow right behind him..I already see all my brothers sitting down on the floor as me and Raph just walk in "Ah Michelangelo, how nice of you to join us." Master Splinter says and I nervously laugh as I sit down next to Raph. "Now my son's, we will be doing mediation today." 'ugh..not meditation.' I thought as we all closed our eyes and listened to our sensei "Now listen to your breathing and try to calm your mind and heart." He says..I breath in and out, my heart for once..feels..calm. like I can actually fall asleep or that's what it feels like to me anyways. I see a..light? 'wait..what?' I thought to myself as something happens and then all the sudden..I'm inside a white space.
A white space, no one around except..for me..I stand up and look around "Where am I..?" I ask myself as I walk around trying to see if I can find any of my brothers or sensei "Dudes! If this is a prank, well it's a really bad one!" I scream out but once again no answer. "Huh..that's..weird.." I speak as I finally hear another voice.."It is weird isn't it." I spin around but..no one was there. "What the-" "You cannot see me, I'm you dude. your in your mind" The voice says and I was confused as I rub my chin.."Hm..if your me then you would now I would say- MY FAVORITE FOOD IS GREEN MOSS MIXED WITH JELLYBEANS AND COTTON CANDY" "MY FAVORITE FOOD IS GREEN MOSS MIXED WITH JELLYBEANS AND COTTON CANDY" the voice repeated the same thing as me and I gasp "W-woahh.." I don't really understand what's going on.."Is..is this meditating?" I ask myself "I'm not really sure but if it is then we did a good job." I smile as I hear that..I did it! I finally did it. I jump into the air and smile super big "WOOHOO! IM FINALLY COOL JUST LIKE MY BROTHERS!!!" I hear my other voice laugh with me until I hear "Mi-...Mik." "Hm?" I hum and try to hear the sounds "M-....y!" "Key!" I think..my brothers are calling me..? "Leo, dude is tha-". Darkness. All the sudden darkness takes over the White space. I don't really like the dark that much. 'Your useless." "Wha-" "Your disgusting." "Hey!-" "Nobody likes you." I heard another voice but it was darker and meaner. I felt tears prick my eyes as more insults come out. "Your filthy." "Your ugly" "your worthless." "Nobody loves you" "your family hates you. "We all hate you." I try to cover out the noise as I start to cry "LEAVE ME ALONEE!". I cry out and all the sudden. It stops.
"AH!" I gasp out as I open my eyes and realize....I'm back in the dojo with everyone else..I see Leo, Raph, Donnie and Splinter looking at me with concern in their eyes. My eyes were wide and had tears spilling out like a water fall and my breathing was really fast, I could hear my heart beating super fast.."I-..I" I couldn't form my words.."What is wrong my son.." He asks and I just shake my head gulping.."N-nothing sensei..I'm sorry.." I apologize for ruining our meditation once..again. I feel a hand on my shoulder and see Leo "It's okay Mikey, we got worried because you suddenly just..started to cry." He helps me up as Raph pats my head and Donnie smiled at me..I'm..I'm so confused..'what's going on..and what was that..?' I asked myself as we all walk out of the dojo as Master Splinter dismissed us.
I look down at my hands just thinking about..what just happened. I feel a touch on my shoulder and see Raph "So Mikey, what was up with ya back their eh?" He asks..I..I didn't really know what to say..I didn't know myself but if I don't answer then their gonna get suspicious.."Hehe! Y'know me bro! Just spacing out like always!" I laugh and walk off while he just stands their by himself as my laughing died down I tried to calm down..'What really is going on with me..?' I thought as Leo called us all to the kitchen. "What's up Leo?" Donnie asks as Leo sighs "Guys..well I mean, it's our birthday today right?" We all nod "...." "Hm..so let's ask..if we can go to the top side-" "Yeah right like he'll let us go!" Raph yells interrupting Leo and Donnie butts in "Well I mean we're all 16 now so-" "Oh shut the hell up Don" "Raph!" They all begin to fight as I just sit their thinking..'thats true..it is our birthday..' I thought..Leo is the oldest, then Raph next Donnie and then I'm the youngest out of all of them. "Mikey!" "Huh?" I gasp out and realize once again they were all looking at me.."Uh..what?" I ask and they all smile "You ask Master Splinter!" Donnie says and I look at them confused with big eyes.."You really think he'll say yes to me?" I ask and they all nod and push me out of the kitchen.."uwah!" I trip and huff.."ugh..theres no way he's gonna say yes..." I say as I walk to the dojo and knock on the door.."Come in." I heard his calm voice and I enter and see him sitting on the floor "Come and sit in front of me Michelangelo." I nod and sit on my knees in front of him. "So, what seems to be the problem my son?" I nervously laugh as he asks and I rub the back of my head.."Uh..well..um.." "is this about what happened earlier because I assure-" "No!" He blinks fast and I cough "Heh no.. um..I was wonderin..sense today y'know..can..can we go to the top side" I close my eyes and bow my head. I hear him hum and I look back up and he's rubbing his beard, "Hm....you all may go." and then all the sudden the door opens "What that's not fair!" "Yeah we're all older now!" "We're all so-wait what?" They all stop "I said you all may go" "WOOHOO!!" They all begin to celebrate and help me up off the ground. I was about to head off with them but "Michelangelo." "Huh?" I turn around as Master Splinter smiles at me.."Happy Birthday my son." I smile and give him a hug "Thank you..dad" I pull away from the hug and run off to follow my big brothers..not even noticing the silent happy tears coming from our Sensei.
We all get to the cover that brings us to the surface, just looking at it not even getting ready to go. "So uh..who's gonna go first bros?" I ask no one answers..Raph looks ready to bolt but he looks uneasy, donnie is just unsure and Leo is obviously worried so I grab the latter and start climbing "Well cmon guys, lets not waste the night away!" I say as i finally remove the cover and start climbing buildings to see the town and once I got up there it was..."Amazing.." I heard Donnie say cause they followed me up here not just gonna leave me behind. "So team what's first?" Leo asks all of us but none of us really got a answer, I mean how could we? We've never been to the topside before so we have no clue what to do "All I know Mikey stay close" Raph says "What?!" "SHHH!" I screamed as Leo shushed me but I stood there in disbelief "Sorry mike but you do tend to..whats the word-" "Runoff? get into trouble?" "I mean well-" "Yes he does" I whine as they all begin to speak trying to figure out what to do..I glare at them and begin to secretly sneak away by myself 'I can take care of myself, thank you very much.' I think as I jump to multiple other buildings.
"I can easily take care of myself, I'm a ninja as well." I told myself thinking back to what my brothers said. I didn't really know what to do though, Ive never been on the topside before so this is all new-butt a wonderful smell caught my nose.."Hm~" I hum as a I walk trying to find it and then right at the edge of the building was..a box? I look around carefully and then walk up to it 'Doesn't look like a trap..' I thought as I slowly opened it and my eyes were in awe. It looked absolutely delicious, I never seen anything like this at all. I take a slice as it still even feels hot like it just came out of a microwave or something and I open my mouth and took a bite. My world exploded. My heart is pounding. I never tasted anything like this at all! "WOAHH DUDEE THIS IS AMAZINGG!!" I scream out of excitement, jumping around in happiness until I heard a noise "Uwah!" "Huh?" I look over the edge and see..a human? And was that a robot? "What the-" I stop talking as I heard they were having a conversation or whatever.
"No please stay away from me!" The girl pleads while the robot walks closer "You April O'Neil must come with us." "Give me back my father" The robot grabs her hand and she yelps out in pain. My eyes widen 'Crap crap! That girl needs help but..my brothers..but-' I calmed myself down and jumped down. "Hey you uh-Robot thing let her go!" I yell as he stops and looks back. He keeps walking away with her "please help me!" She yells out obviously to me because who else is here. I run over and take out my weapon wrapping it around his hand and pulling "rghh!! Argh!!" I grunt as I try to pull and he lifts up his hand and throws me to the side "WOAHH!" CRASH. I hit a bunch of garbage while my eyes are dizzy and I'm wobbly but I shake my head and quickly get up..I take my weapon out again and wrap the robot up and tie him to something. "AHHH YEAHH!" I kick it his head and then it falls to the ground and then this weird pink brain crawls out "Eh Eww!" "ARGHH" it screeches at me and runs off and I look over and see the girl holding her wrists with a sadden look on her face..I frown myself 'If I show myself to her..im gonna get in massive trouble by my brothers and master splinter..butt..' I thought as I sighed and stepped out of the shadows to reveal myself to her.
I finally got dropped by the robot that took my father. I let whoever it was deal with it while I rub my wrists..trying to make the pain go away..I frown. 'Why'd they take my father..why him..?' I thought to myself as I heard footsteps that broke me out of those thoughts.. I look up a little scared and see..green? Wait what? He's..my eyes widen..He's green. He doesn't look taller than me but he's..a turtle..what?? "Listen..don't freak out..I just..-just wanna know if your okay..?" He says it quietly but softly..he a has a orange mask on..he even has a shell.."I-..I" I was speechless.."I- yes thank you..um turtle thing.." I say shaking..I didn't know what to believe if this is even real but then again..those robots and the aliens inside of them..it's real. So I can believe this too..I guess. He smiles and lends me a hand to take..I put my hand out but I'm scared at first "It's okay..I'm gonna help you!" He says lively..I calm down a bit so I take his hand and he helps me up. "What that thing want from you anyways?" I shrugged.."I have no clue..h-they..took my father and wanted me for something as well.." that's all I said. He nods.."Hm.. something is going on in New York and it's weird" He says..we both heard some noise and the turtle turned around almost like he was about to leave so I grab his hands "W-wait!" I say scared and then I heard another voice "Get off of my brother!". 3 others jumped down into the shadows. I froze in fear but didn't let go of him..I..I need his help..he seems strong and independent. 'I need him to help me save my father!'.
As my brothers jump down and pull their weapons out at the girl. I stand in front of her "Guys put them down!" I yell "Mikey where'd you run off too!" Leo yells and I roll my eyes "That's not important right no-" "Not important?!" I groan as he goes on a rant of worry..I get angry 'cant they see something big is going on around here?' I thought as I screamed out "SHUT UP!!" They all blinked surprised at my outburst. "I know I shouldn't have ran off but something weird is going on in New York and I saved this girl from this weird alien robot thing or the alien was like inside the robot body controlling him" I say and they all just stare at me while Raph sighs "Cmon Mikey stop making up stories" I was gonna yell again but the girl talks.."H-he's not lying..he's telling the truth..he saved me from getting kidnapped by one of them.." she says nervously pointing over to the robots empty body. "Fascinating" Donnie says and Leo speaks "Who even are you and why'd they want you..?" I look at her and smile while she calms down once more.."I-im April O'Neil..they..they took my father and wanted to take me as well..for whatever their doing." She pauses..as tears build up in her blue eyes.."I'm sorry for grabbing you like that but." She looks at me "Please help me! Please help me get my father back!" She yells pleading and I frown. I turn around and ignore my brothers "April I promise we will help you out" I say and point back to my older brothers "Were Ninja's, we can do this or at least try to." I say and she smiles "R-really?" Leo then walks up sighing but smiles "Of course April." He nods while patting my head. 'Leo is proud of me!' I thought while smiling as Donnie also agrees "I'd be glad to help, I wanna research on what these are and what kind of tech they use." And then Raph. He groans but smirks "Fine we'll help, I wanna beat something up other than these guys anyways" I laugh and put my fist into the air "Alright bros!" We put our hands down together and I yell "GO TURTLES!!" I scream with the others sigh in annoyance and April laughs.
