Chapter Text
It was a normal school day for two of the four cures and their day of learning, was coming to an end as they had to wait for Ageha to come get them as Mashrio’s grandmother Yoyo was taking care of princess Ellee at home but Ageha, was going to bring her to see the others once they were done school for the day.
Sora and her girlfriend Mashrio were waiting outside of the school as, they waited to get picked out but the waiting took a while due to traffic building up from, active road construction in the area causing a alternate route to be used temporarily for now.
But after 10 minutes Ageha arrived and picked up Sora and Mashrio from school then, proceeded to drive the girls back home. “So how was the school day today?” Ageha, asked with a smile on her face “Well it was quite normal as usual.” Mashrio, said with a bit of shyness in her voice while, I looked at the window watching the sky but I noticed something odd.
I saw a small dark green hue that wasn’t there before but I couldn’t think on what could it possibly be, I exited my train of thought and decided to play with Ellee in the back seat who was filled with energy after taking a nap during the initial drive. “Well I guess you guys forgot I was here.” Tsubasa said while he was in his bird form “Sorry that I forgot about you being in the back of the car..” Ageha replied with a embarrassed look on her face.
But while we near the park we made a quick stop there as Ellee, wanted to go and play with us and went to the children’s playground and then split up to do our own things. Me, Tsubasa, and Ageha were playing with Ellee while, Mashrio was sitting on a bench drawing her sketchbook.
As we spent our time there I looked, up at the sky again to see that the unknown hue was still there but it seemed, to be much larger than earlier however this time but before I could take note of it I heard people screaming and shouting to run away.
“Ranborg!” all of us froze and then, we quickly ran where the ranborg was and got ready to transform into precures, while Ellee was behind us but before we could transform we looked up at saw Battamonda floating beside it. “Well look who arrived at the perfect timing” he said, with a sadistic and sarcastic look on his face “Oh great not this fool again.” Ageha uttered while being annoyed by him as she was ready to transform.
“What do you want this time?!” I said with anger and frustration in my voice, as I gripped onto my sky mirage pen. “What I want this time is to defeat you weaklings and take the princess unless you give her to me then I’ll be victorious.” He said with a calm and narcissistic tone in his voice. “We won’t let you defeat us and take Ellee!” Tsubasa shouted as he was infuriated by Battamonda’s remark mentioning taking Ellee away from them.
“Ready guys!?” Mashrio affirmed as, we were ready to transform into precures and nodded as we started to transform. After we transformed, the ranborg began to, attack us by punching and blinding us as this time it was a street light but, due to the light it was hard to get close to it. “I can’t see anything or the ranborg” Cure Butterfly said as she was sent flying from a punch attack and hit the ground. “Uhm guys there’s something that you guys need to see that is not related to the fight, but I don’t think it’s good as it seems to be an unknown rift in the sky.” Cure Prism looked up at the sky as she shared and saw that the hue in the sky was opening up.
“We should probably worry about that later as we have to continue the fight, but the thing is, we don’t know how to attack it.” I said as I tried to think of a strategy to take the ranborg down. During all of this Ellee was still hiding behind us but she, wasn’t focused on the fight she realized that something was wrong about the rift as she saw something coming out of it. “Ellee!” She exclaimed, while looking at the rift as she saw an item fall out of it.
“It looks like someone’s trying to distract you from the fight.” Battamonda blurted out while he was pointing at Ellee as he thought, she was being an annoyance but while he was distracted Cure Prism blasted the ranborg with her prism shot then Cure Butterfly, Cure Wing, and I worked together, by using the mix colour palette to, increase our strength and were able to, attack it to then purify but I saw that the rift in sky was shifting in colour as it opened up more.
After the purification
Battamonda was in absolute distraught as he lost, the fight again from us “How did I lose to these weaklings again?” He said while he was raging from, his defeat then left after him complaining. Once he was gone we finally got to have a breather as we were exhausted from it but Ellee quickly floated over to us and made us look down at a phone as that did fall out of the sky.
Cure Prism picked it up and saw, that the camera mode was still on but she noticed that the original owner, had taken a picture earlier but, she quickly turned it off, as she was holding the phone but Cure Butterfly did, look at it and did have some things to say but she decided, to save it for later as the whole group needs to, transform back to normal.
Timeskip
Once the whole group, transformed back to normal they got ready to go home as, the day progressed to the evening once the sun began to set. The clouds were starting to dissipate while the golden sun rays were slowly fading away into the distance as the night sky began to fall in. “I think we can all agree that today’s battle was a little weird since we have absolutely no clue what is going on with that unknown rift and don’t know if the Undergu empire has anything to do with it?!” Tsubasa said as he was in, genuine confusion and concern over, where did the rift come from after all we didn’t really have a clear answer about it.
We all looked at him as he was in bird form as we were in the car “I’m still wondering who’s phone I picked up after Ellee found it.” Mashrio uttered while being in the same situation as Tsubasa. “I know we might be overthinking the situation but, we can try to solve the mystery another day since, it just happened today we probably don’t have much information on it for now.” I said as I tried, my best to come up with a solution for the problem even though it probably won’t do much.
“Well Sora does have a good point but we can also discuss this at home which we made it to now.” Ageha responded to me while, she was parking the car in the driveway while Ellee agreed by, nodding her head as she made a little grunt sound. Once the car was parked, everyone got out of it then proceeded to, head inside to relax and rewind from the chaos of the day.
“Finally we can actually take a break from today.” I said with relief as, I went to sit down on the couch then grabbed a pillow to hug. “At least we don’t have school tomorrow so we can rest up at bit” Mashrio mentioned as she sat down next to me then, proceeded to rest her head on my shoulder. “I’m going to cook dinner with Yoyo since we haven’t eaten in a while so keep your eyes on Ellee for me okay?” Ageha asked while, she waited for us to respond to her question as she was holding Ellee up in her arms.
“We can take care of her while you’re cooking Age-.”
CRASH
Tsubasa’s sentence with suddenly interrupted by, the loud crash sound while Ageha gave Ellee to, him as it seemed like it came from the front of the house. “We should probably see what the heck happened out there.” I said with caution as we headed toward the door. “Okay should we send someone out to see what it is first or we all go at once?” Mashrio asked as she looked at the doorknob and placed her hand on it. “I think we should all go together as we don’t know if it’s a major threat or not.” Tsubasa pointed out, as he didn’t hear or see anything that could be bad after the crash originally took place.
“I’m just going to see what happened.” Ageha said as she, opened the door and walked outside. “Well I guess we should just follow her.” Mashrio blurted out while looking, through a small opening from the door but Ageha opened it, to inform us of what happened. “Uhm guys you definitely take a look at this.” She spoke with pure confusion on her face as, we walked outside to get a look of what happened but as we, walked out while Ellee was just wondering what was going on with today.
Once we made it outside, we saw four people who were piled up on top of each other but they were only a few feet away from the house where we were standing. “Can you guys just please get off of me?” One of them said, as she was on the ground. “I’m still trying to figure out what is this place?” Another person, spoke with shock and confusion in his voice. “I’m still wondering where my phone went as I was just talking videos and pictures on it.” The third person shared as, she tried to figure where it possibly went. “Girl you’ve been looking it for the entire time we were stuck in the thing for a few hours.” The last one commented as he got up as, they were the last person who felt out the “thing”.
“Well we don’t know how we got into the situation in the first place.” The first person remarked as the rest of them got off the ground and stood up in a circle. “Guys let’s not argue over thi-.” The second person uttered as he was, trying to find a better solution to their problem. Meanwhile the rest of us were just, watching and just standing on the front porch, with pure confusion about who these people were as we never met or seen them until now.
As we just stood on the porch, the door opened it was Mashrio’s grandmother Yoyo who was waiting for Ageha to help her out with cooking but she saw the door open earlier so she to see what the cures were doing. “Do you know what’s going on?” She said as she was looking at us for an answer. Ellee shook her head as, she didn’t know what was going on while she looked back and tilted her head at the group as the argument continued while the other two just stood there and watched it go down.
“Alright this is boring I’m going back inside with Yoyo to cook food.” Ageha said as she, opened the door and walked, inside to head to the kitchen while Yoyo followed her, and closed the door leaving me, Mashrio, Ellee and Tsubasa behind. As the argument continued the third person saw, us and realized they, were being watched. “Uhm guys there are people here.” She mentioned as the argument paused, while the other three looked over slowly and noticed us.
“Who the heck are you guys?” The second girl said as, she looked confused while, she pointed her finger at us. I began walking towards the group and responded to the question. “Well I’m Sora that’s Mashrio then there’s Tsubasa, Ageha who is inside the house at the moment alongside Yoyo and lastly there’s Ellee.” I shared with a confident tone, as while I pointed at each one of them as I was sharing their names to the group.
“Hello and welcome to Sorashido City.” Mashrio and Tsubasa said in unison as, they approached the group while Ellee was, waving her left arm to them with a smile on her face. “By the way I did find this earlier and I think it might be the missing item that one of you’re looking for.” Mashrio mentioned as she, pulls out the phone that, one of them was missing and passing it over. “Oh my goodness thank you for finding it.” She expressed with pure glee on her face then proceeded to give Mashrio a short hug as an act of kindness in return.
“Looks like those two are already getting along plus food is ready as well.” Ageha said as she, peaked through the door as most of us went inside. Meanwhile the other three people were a bit hesitant for a moment before they followed along. “By the way we never got any of your names.” Tsubasa stated as he walked alongside them as they went through the hallway. “Oh that’s Jiwoo, J.Seph, BM and I’m Somin.” She said as she was walking down the hall with Mashiro and Sora while she was holding Ellee. “Well that was quick.” Jiwoo commented as the group made it to the kitchen table and sat down.
Once the whole group was together we decided to wait until everyone was finished eating dinner before doing a get to know each other session since we didn’t know much about the other four people. “Alright now we are going to be asking each other questions then we’ll put our answers together on our own list and we’ll share them afterwards.” Ageha announced while she stood up from her seat while speaking in an excited tone. “Ellee.” said as she was clapping her hands together with a smile on her face once we began the session.
We all put our pencils down on the sheets of paper that we got and began writing our own answers. As each question was being asked the room was quiet since we weren’t allowed to share our answers as we had to wait until all 17 questions had been answered by us in 30 minutes. As the time passed we all took our time rearranging, and viewing our lists to make sure that all the answers were next to the correct order of questions that were asked.
After the time was up we got ready to begin sharing our answers once each question was asked again for us to share what each one of us had to learn about each other. “Alright so the first question was, are you known for anything but before we answer I’ll let our new friends answer it first.” Ageha said as she looked at the sheet of questions. “This might shock you guys, but the four of us are kpop idols who are in a co-ed group named kard.” Jiwoo stated as she pointed at each one of her bandmates while answering the question. “Wait… YOU GUYS ARE IDOLS!?” Tsubasa and I shouted as we were in absolute shock at Jiwoo’s response to the question.
As me and Tsubasa were freaking out over the fact that we met the members of an idol group BM, Mashrio, Somin and J.seph were going to listen to the group’s music as Somin pulled out her phone and loaded a song on it that had a very summer vibe to it. As the song was playing the group was focussed on the music video that was playing along side the song. “I'm really liking the fun vibe and concept of the song.” Mashrio said as she continued listening to it with a smile on her face. “Well it was, our debut song after releasing three other songs before we, actually debuted.” BM commented once the song had finished playing and then Somin paused the next song before it began to play.
“Now what are you guys known for?” J.seph asked back to us as we were still learning about each other. “About us we are just-.” I tried my best to lie but I was cut off by Ellee. “Precure!” She yelled as the room went from calm to confusion. “Oh great we're screwed now.” Tsubasa said with embarrassment as he transformed into his bird form and then landed on the floor. “DID HE JUST TURN INTO A BIRD?” Jiwoo and BM shouted as they pointed at Tsubasa. “Yes he did.” Ageha replied with a relaxed as they were both in shock. “I think we need an explanation on what is happening.” Somin expressed as she was in denial and confusion over what was going on.
“Okay so what Ellee said was about us as we are known, as the legendary soaring sky precure who protect Skyland from the undergu empire as they, try to kidnap Ellee who is the princess of the land and who needs to get back as me and her fell through a portal and ended up here, but the problem is you guys might be permanently stuck here as, we can't find your world on the mirror pad.” I said as explained the situation to them. “And what about Tsubasa turning into a bird?” BM asked as he was still concerned about him. “Oh about that is completely normal as he is also from Skyland so if that happens again, don't worry.” Ageha stated as she picked up Ellee from her seat and began walking to her room to get her ready for bed.
“Now at least we got the answer to the both questions.” J.seph commented with a relieved look on his face. “So you're telling us that we're trapped in a magical world that we can't get out, of and have to deal with an evil empire, that is trying to kidnap a child?” Jiwoo said as she stood up, from her seat and walked next to me. “Correct.” I replied as I looked at her while, pointing one of my fingers at the ceiling. “Maybe we can stay here since we know you guys are probably gonna need help with taking care of Ellee.” She said back as looked at the others, who were nodding and agreeing to her idea.
“Well I think we all have an agreement on that plan since it's starting to get late.” I commented as everyone got up to clean up then started heading upstairs. “Sora you're very kind for welcoming them and giving them hospitality here.” Yoyo said as walked to the door of her room. “Ever since I came here with you guys, gave me a place to stay so I'm returning the favour for them.” I replied back with a honest and sincere tone. “ I'm happy that they appreciate it, as much as you did.” She mentioned with a smile as she remembered the time when I first came here. “You do truly remember things Yoyo.” I phased as the memory replayed in my head while I was smiling. “Well Sora good night and we will see what tomorrow brings.” She said she opened the door to her room. “Good night Yoyo.” I replied with as I watched her close the door, then proceeded to head to my room and sit down then, take out my diary to write about the day.
Dear Diary
“Today was an interesting day as I enjoyed the school day today, but when we had to fight Battamonda in the park, the unknown rift the sky got bigger and we ended up winning the fight. However, as soon as we got home, we ended up meeting four idols from another world who are in a band together called Kard. But even though we're still getting to know, them better we are letting them live with us for now.”

After writing today's entry, I got ready for bed and looked out, the window to watch the stars in the night off for a bit, and proceeded to turn the lights off then laid down on my bed. “What ever tomorrow brings let's just hope it's something good.” I said to myself as I started to feel my, eyes were starting to close and pulled, out a blanket and rested my head on the pillow. “Good night today and welcome tomorrow.” I whispered to myself, before completely falling asleep as, my body began to relax and gain energy for the next day.
