Chapter Text

The world of Orario, a place where adventurers explore a massive dungeon, gods bless humans, and monsters cause destruction in the lower floors. The mana was in the air as various adventurers went in a trip through the dungeon, normally they travel in groups to make things easier for themselves

But one person didn't

"HIEEEEEEE!"

A boy with white hair and red eyes rolled through the floor as he dodged the attack of a Minotaur, the creature trying to hit him with his fists

"This isn't anything like I thought! I shouldn't have gotten so hasty!"

The boy thought while dodging another hit, ending up tripping and rolling through a small cave in the dungeon, tumbling down through the steep floor

"WAAAAAAAAH!"

The boy yelled while the Minotaur roared, the two now being separated for a small time.

The boy fell down on his back, rolling on the ground a little more before hitting his back on something

"Ouch…" the boy grunted as he rubbed the back of his head

He crawled on the floor to get away from that statue, getting up and turning around to see what he had hit, seeing a statue of a large boat on top of a pillar

"Huh?"

Confused, the boy looked down, seeing a weird symbol on the floor, getting curious, he knelt down to touch it, feeling it to see if there was something weird about it, but it felt just like a drawing on the floor

"I wonder who made this…" the boy said to himself, not really understanding the reason for this to be here

"URRROAAAAAR!"

"HIII!"

The boy remembered that the Minotaur was still coming after him, turning around and quickly moving back, accidentally hitting the boat statue again, making it fall on the ground, right on the symbol

"I-I can't run away from here… I'm stuck! And that thing is coming!" The boy widened his eyes, realizing that this was a deadend, he closed his eyes and did the only thing he could "S-someone please help me!"

And with that plea, the drawing under his feet began to glow blue, making him open his eyes in shock, feeling some kind of power rising from the floor, before a big smokescreen was raised, making him raise his arms to protect himself from whatever was there

"W-what's going on!?" The boy yelled as the smoke went down

He put his arms down, now sitting down on the floor as he looked up, seeing a figure standing in front of him. A blonde man with green eyes, golden and black armor around his upper body, white pants and golden boots covering his lower body. The mysterious man turned to Bell, looking down at him before raising his arm with the open palm pointed to the ceiling

"I am a Saber servant. I ask you, are you my Master?" the man asked the boy who looked up at him in awe and shock

"W-wha-!?" The boy blinked in confusion

"Oh great, I ended up with an inexperienced one…" the man thought to himself before letting out a sigh, putting his raised hand on his forehead "Are you the one who activated this summoning circle?"

"I-I…" the boy looked down in confusion, now understanding what that was "I guess…?"

"Then you are my master. You may call me Saber, I am your servant who will help you in this war." The man, now named Saber, said, crossing his arms with a smirk on his face

"He exhales the aura of a hero… Saber huh…" the boy said, looking to the hip of Saber, seeing a sheathed sword there, assuming this man was a warrior who came to help him the boy got up "I-Its a pleasure, Mister Saber! My name is Bell Cranel!"

"Bell Cranel, not the noble name I expected of my Master but I'm not the one who chooses it." Saber shrugged after hearing the boy presenting himself

"But your name is just the name of a weapon…" Bell thought while he gave the blonde a deadpan look

"Now, care to show me how to get out of here?"

"Eh? You don't know how to leave the dungeon?" Bell asked surprised

"The dungeon? The dungeon…" Saber said to himself, as if he was thinking about something, tapping his foot

"Does he not even know where he is!? Well, I apparently summoned him here so he was probably in the middle of something… Also, what did he mean with Master and Servant?" Bell thought confused

"Ah yes, the dungeon, right." Saber snapped his fingers, as if just now realizing what this place was "This is a lot of information to take from the Grail…"

"Grail?"

"I'll explain later. First we should leave this place and go to safety. Now come, let us leave." Saber signaled with his arm for Bell to come with him as he turned around to leave the cave "Guide the way."

"R-right! But, who exactly are you, Mister Saber?" Bell asked as he ran up to the blonde

"Well, I suppose you could say… I'm an Argonaut!" Saber said, pointing at himself

"A-Argonaut!? Like the legendary heroes from stories!?" Bell asked in awe, his eyes shining like stars

"It seems my legends are known by you, of course! I am the great captain of the Argonauts! A great ship of the greatest heroes of the land!" Saber boasted

"W-wow, you must be from an amazing Familia to be known like that…" Bell said with a sigh

That made Saber blink, turning to Bell and staring at him like he said something absurd

"I'm not a part of a Familia, what?" Saber asked confused

"What!? You're not! But with what you said-"

"The Argonauts are my own crew, not one of some god." Saber stated

"T-then… Could you join my Familia?" Bell asked excited

"Eh!?"

"Please! You sound so amazing and we are such a small Familia, I'm sure my Goddess would accept you if you tell your tale!" Bell begged Saber

Saber let out a smirk after having his greatness recognized, he is starting to like this kid

"Well, I'll think about it, I suppose since you are my Master I can be an honorary member of your Goddess Familia… Wait, is your Goddess Aphrodite?" Saber asked in a serious tone

"No…"

"Alright, then maybe I'll join."

"That's great!"

The two made their way through the entrance of this cave, climbing the steep surface of the floor, managing to return to the larger part of that Dungeon floor

"W-wait, where is it!?" Bell widened his eyes, looking around in shock

"Huh? Where's who?" Saber asked

"There was something coming after me before, that's how I ended up in the cave!" Bell explained, still trying to find the monster

"Well, maybe it felt my presence and decided to run away-" Saber began before something fell down behind him, cracking the floor under it

Bell's eyes widened even more while Saber slowly turned around to look at the monster that just dropped, gaping in shock

"A Minotaur!?" Saber yelled

"T-This is horrible! B-But I have Mister Saber now! Yeah, he is a legendary hero! An Argonaut who is the captain of various other heroes! I'm sure together we will be able to beat this-" Bell thought, thinking there was hope for him

"GROAAAAAAAAAAR!"

"AIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!"

Before that hope was shattered by Saber turning around and running away, grabbing Bell's arm to drag him away from that demonic creature

"Eh?" Bell was still processing what just happened

"DON'T "eh?" ME! ARE YOU DUMB, MASTER!? RUN!" Saber screamed, pulling Bell forward harder to make him run on his own

"Aren't you a legendary hero!? Can't you fight it!?" Bell yelled as he ran as fast as he could

"I'M A CAPTAIN, NOT A FIGHTER! I'M NOT MADE TO BE IN THE FRONT LINES DAMNIT!" Saber screamed

"GROAAAAAAAAAAR!" The Minotaur charged after them

"HIIIIII!" the two yelled in fear, running even faster

The Minotaur jumped at the two, raising it's fist to slam the two adventurers, the two noticed and quickly jumped to the side, dodging the attack, only for the Minotaur to grin and slam his foot down and dash at them

"Damnit! It was bait!" Saber yelled

"It's going to hit us!" Bell yelled

Saber grit his teeth, quickly grabbing his sword and lifting it up in a defensive stance, blocking the hit from the Minotaur, the attack making him dig his feet on the floor with the ground caving slightly under him

"G-Ghg!" Saber grunted as he held the hit back from the Minotaur

"S-Saber!" Bell widened his eyes

"Damnit Master, making me have to fight! I'll let you know that I won't forgive you for this!" Saber said as he grit his teeth, turning his focus to the Minotaur "You damn beast, one of the Argonauts was one warrior famous for slaying your kind. I may not be him or not be too strong, but I'm still a Servant!"

Saber then let out a scream, pushing the first of the Minotaur back, grabbing the hold of his sword with immense strength and doing a spin, slashing at the beast's arm, actually managing to cut it

"GRAAAR!" The Minotaur yelled in pain, taking a few steps back and glaring at Saber

"Huh? I actually did damage? I mean, hah! Take that vile beast! Didn't expect that, did ya!?" Saber boasted, spinning his sword in his hand

"S-So strong! Not only did he block a hit from the Minotaur he managed to hurt it, and his swordsmanship is good, way better than mine! He may be a little bit of a coward, but he is still a hero-" Bell's thoughts were cut short by Saber being punched in the face by the Minotaur

"WAAAAAAAAAAGH!"

Saber flew right past Bell, being slammed against the wall behind him, creating a hole in the shape of his body before falling off it and onto the floor

"Mister Saber!" Bell yelled seeing Saber on the ground

"Uuugh… He caught me off guard…" Saber grunted while on the floor

Bell widened his eyes, even Saber who was so strong was defeated in one hit, he turned back forward and saw the Minotaur standing tall, looking angered now that it was damaged

"I-I can't dodge…" Bell thought, thinking that this was the end

"Master, move!" Saber yelled as he raised himself off the floor

But before the Minotaur could bring his fist down, his arm was cut off, making it widen its eyes and scream in pain, before it was then cut in half, spraying blood on the two before it disappeared in a cloud of black smoke, leaving a big crystal where it once stood

"Ew!" Saber yelled, trying to clean the blood off him

Bell was too stunned to do the same as Saber, his eyes widening in shock as he saw a blonde woman standing in front of them with her back turned. She turned to them, a cold expression on her face and small pieces of armor around her body, if someone said she was carved out of marble by great sculptors it would be believable

"T-that's the Swords Princess… Ais Wallenstein from the Loki Familia!" Bell thought, if his face wasn't covered in blood he would be seen blushing

"Are you okay?" Ais asked while looking at the two

Bell began to shake as the girl looked at them, with Saber getting back up and dusting himself off

"Yes. I thank you for your help miss-" Saber began…

Before Bell let out a panicked yell and ran away screaming, making Saber widen his eyes in shock

"H-Hey! Don't leave me here! Damnit Master!" Saber yelled as he chased after Bell, leaving Ais confused as she stared at the two running off

"...eh?"

The Guild. Morning.

A half elf was organizing a few papers behind her desk, humming to herself as she finally had them all in a nice pile

"There we go." the woman smiled to herself

"MISS EINA!" Bell's voice was heard approaching

The half elf girl turned around to see what that was about, only to see the boy covered in blood running into the guild

"Huh!?" Eina widened her eyes in shock "Bell!? What happened!?"

"Eina, what do you know about Ais Wallenstein?" Bell asked excited

"Master! What was that about!? You were going to run off and just leave me in the dungeon!? What's wrong with you!?" A second person covered in blood ran into the guild now "And with me being this dirty, it's undignified for someone like me!"

"A-ah! Right! Sorry Mister Saber!" Bell apologized

Eina stared at the two for a few moments, trying to understand what was happening right now, before she yelled at the two

"Get yourselves clean first!"

Eina was now sitting in front of the two clean adventurers, her hands on the table that separated the two as Bell explained the situation that happened in the dungeon with the Minotaur

"A Minotaur!? You could have died! How many times have I told you that adventurers shouldn't go adventuring!?" Eina scolded at Bell, making him lower his head

"I know… I'm sorry…" Bell apologized

"Isn't that contradictory?" Saber thought as he looked at his master and the woman scolding him

"Well, still, I'm glad you are fine at least. And thank you for defending him mister…?" Eina began while looking at the blonde

"Saber will suffice." Saber nodded

"Saber? Like… Like the weapon?" Eina blinked confused

"Oh yes, because I'm the only one here named after an object. Isn't that right, Bell?" Saber turned to look at his master

"That's uncalled for, mister Saber." Bell said

"W-Well, anyways, mister Saber, as Bell's advisor I'm glad you helped him out the best way you could. Are you an adventurer by chance?" Eina asked, pushing her glasses up slightly using two fingers

"Well, in the broad sense of the word, yes. But I assume you mean if I'm registered in the guild, then that's a no." Saber said shook his head

"And yet you were in the dungeon… Alright, are you affiliated with any Familias?" Eina asked right after

"I suppose I'll be in the same one he is." Jason pointed at Bell using his thumb

"Oh, you found a second member for your Familia, that's great Bell! I'm sure Hestia will love to know that!" Eina clapped her hands making Bell smile and rub the back of his head

"Hestia? The goddess of the heart?" Saber perked up

"You know her? I thought she was a rather unknown goddess…" Bell said in surprise

"I'm familiar with some gods, and if she's the head of your Familia maybe I can join." Saber thoughtfully noted "From my knowledge of the gods, Hestia is a rather gentle one, so being on her team with my Master wouldn't be too much of an issue, at least it is not one of the crazier ones."

"Well, if that's the case I think you should join her Familia before being registered in the guild as an adventurer." Eina explained making Saber nod

"I see."

"And about Ais, I'm not allowed to divulge personal information, but I can give you what's public knowledge, like how she's known as the Sword Princess thanks to her immense ability with a blade and how she's one of the fastest adventurers to reach level five." Eina explained

"I was actually wanting to know more about what she likes to eat and do, what her hobbies are…" Bell rubbed the back of his head embarrassed

Eina and Saber looked at Bell for a few moments, causing the boy to look down embarrassed

"Ohoho!" Saber let out a laugh "Are you in love with the Sword Princess?"

"H-Huh!?" Bell widened his eyes and turned to Saber, who had a smirk on his face "T-that's… M-maybe a little…"

"Haha! How cute! Oh, the young and their love." Saber laughed some more… before he then grimaced as he remembered something about young love

"Anyways…" Eina butted in "I don't think trying to get with her is a good idea, after all she's from the Loki Familia. Trying to date someone from different Familias is always a hassle."

The mention of Loki got Saber's attention, and as Eina explained the complications of cross Familia dating the blonde thought to himself how it wasn't only the greek gods that are now living among humans here in the gekai, that would make things more complicated

"Well, just keep that in mind, alright Bell?" Eina gave him a smile "You two can go now, and don't forget to trade in your magic stones for valis."

The two then got up and bid their goodbyes to Eina, the half elf giving them a little wave as they traded in the magic stones and made their way out of the guild

"And Bell." Eina called out for him, making him turn to her for a moment "Women like strong men that can keep them safe, so if you make a name for yourself maybe she will notice you."

Bell smiled at Eina after hearing her, waving at her

"Thank you Miss Eina! I love you!" Bell yelled as he ran off

"E-eh!?"

"Hey, Master! What's with you and running off!?" Saber yelled as he chased Bell

Orario. Morning.

Bell and Saber made their way through the streets of the labyrinth city that was Orario, with Saber taking in the scenery as he looked around. He saw various races of humanoids, humans, elfs, amazonessess, beast humans. In the distance Saber saw the gray tower Babel, being a little curious about what was inside of it

"Seeing all of this for myself rather than just being told about it is a big shock…" Saber said, crossing his arms

"Yeah, Babel is very impressive even at a distance, isn't it?" Bell smiled at Saber

"I agree." Saber said, returning his focus to the streets in front of them

"Although, something had been bugging me, mister Saber. What exactly is up with you? You appear out of a summoning circle and start calling me master. I'm not really sure I understand…" Bell said while crossing his arms in confusion

"I'll explain this after we meet with your Goddess, that I assure you." Saber answered with a confident tone "Speaking of that, where exactly do you and your Goddess live?"

"Alright, and we are close." Bell nodded at Saber

"Considering he works for a goddess I should expect something more akin to a mansion. Oh yes, life as a noble, probably expected from someone who has been blessed-" Saber thought before being snapped back to reality

"We're here." Bell said, making Saber look at where they were

His face dropping to a complicated expression, he saw that where he would be staying, and by extension where his master and the goddess he was blessed by were staying, was a run down and broken church, it had pieces of the wall missing, broken windows and not even the door was properly on its hinges anymore

"Yeah, it's not the best but it's what we can have due to our situation…" Bell rubbed the back of his head embarrassed to be showing this to someone like Saber, who wore gold armor and was the captain of great heroes

"Its… Uhm…" Saber tried to find the words that wouldn't offend the master or his goddess right now… he failed and decided to just go in "Let us just go in."

Bell nodded and guided Saber through the run down church, getting to a staircase and walking down to a lower floor Saber started seeing this place was a lot more cozy than the upper part

"Goddess! I'm here!" Bell made his presence known as they both entered the main room

Saber saw a small girl laying on the couch, she was wearing a white dress with some blue bows around it, her hair being stylized in two twin tails using hair ornaments similar to white flower petals, with her lifting her face the blue of her eyes were noticed

"Hestia is a child around here? That's surprising." Saber thought intrigued

Well, that was before Hestia jumped off the couch and ran up to Bell

"Bell! You're back, you took so long!" Hestia yelled, the bounciness of her chest catching Saber off guard, something that big was not proportional for a woman that small

"Okay, not a child, understood!" Jason made a complicated expression at that

"Sorry Goddess, is that I almost died at the dungeon today…" Bell explained himself

"What what!? Really!? Are you okay!? It would be horrible if you actually died!" Hestia widened her eyes, checking for any injuries on Bell "I would be lonely and sad, y'know?"

"I'm fine, mister Saber helped me and I was saved by someone else." Bell said, rubbing the back of his head "Besides, I wouldn't leave my goddess high and dry."

"Well, I'm glad because I need a lot of water!" Hestia said while putting her hands on her hips

"That's an… interesting way to put it." Saber blinked, still with an unsure expression

Hestia turned to the blonde man for a few moments, blinking twice as if she was just now realizing his presence amongst them

"Who are you?" Hestia asked

"You just noticed me now!?" Saber gaped

"Oh yeah, this is Saber. He appeared out of a summoning circle when I ended up falling in a cave in the dungeon and he helped me hold back the Minotaur." Bell said, presenting Saber to his goddess, before he then turned to the blonde and realized how troubled he looked "Uhm… Everything okay, mister Saber?"

"Oh, it's nothing really. Just, having some deja vu about… Nevermind that." Saber dismissed the worries of his master, he for some reason had a bad feeling about busty goddesses… something about islands exploding, he wasn't fully sure "It's a pleasure to meet you, miss goddess."

"Well, I say the same, I'm thankful that you protected my Bell, sir Saber." Hestia said, not fully sure about that name but deciding not to question it for now

"Also, he decided to join our Familia!" Bell told Hestia, making her eyes shine

"Really!?" Hestia asked excited

"Well…" Saber wasn't one hundred percent set on the idea of being a part of the group of a god, especially given the last time he got the blessing from a goddess resulted in someone committing atrocities for him, but she looked so happy about getting a new member, and Bell was also so excited… God, if Atalanta was here she'd chew him up for making children cry "Fine, yes, I'll join your Familia, for now. I think you could use someone of my prowess and brilliance as a captain!"

"Captain?" Hestia blinked

"Oh yeah, he's an Argonaut and the captain of an entire group of heroes!" Bell told Hestia

"Eh!? Now way! A new Familia member and one that's on that level! This is amazing!" Hestia jumped excitedly "I was planning on us eating first, but let's save that as a celebration for getting a new member! And I'll use that opportunity to update your status too Bell! Come along!"

"Yes!"

"Alright."

Both Saber and Bell saw how happy the goddess was, with her jumping and bouncing around, with Bell averting his gaze and blushing while Sabers smiled a little at how excited she was. The other Argonauts would probably like this girl.

The two were taken to the bedroom, with Hestia instructing Bell to take his shirt off and lay on the bed, which he complied, and the goddess then got on top of him and pulled out a needle, poking her finger and putting a sheet of paper on his back, tracing her hands around it to update his status, with the two talking about the situation with the Minotaur and Bell's crush on Ais

"W-wow! Your magic stat increased so much! How did that happen!?" Hestia said in shock, making Bell widen his eyes. He had magic!?

"Eh!? Really Goddess?" Bell asked

"Yeah, here take a look!" Hestia said, getting off his back and showing Bell his updated status

Saber came closer too so he could get a look at how strong Bell was

Magic:

Servant Contract: Command Seal; the symbols in the back of your hand symbolize your connection between you and your servant, you have three uses of them, and with each use you can force your servant to do whatever you want no matter if he agrees or not.

Skills:

"Your defense is low." Saber blurted out

"Well, I do mostly dodge attacks and don't take them directly…" Bell mumbled before he noticed his magic section "Huh!? Command Seal? Since when do I…"

Bell looked at the back of his hand, seeing a red mark of a boat with a sword stabbed right through it with the ocean making a circle around it

"When did you get that? And what's a Servant? Sounds like a type of familiar…" Hestia said, wondering what this was about

"Mister Saber… Do you know anything about this?" Bell asked, which made Saber let out a sigh as he would now need to explain all of this by himself

"Well, it's complicated so the explanation might take a while." Saber trailed off

"We have time. This better not be some kind of curse you out on my Bell!" Hestia growled as she glared at Saber, before a thought came to her mind "Wait… Could you draw for me what exactly the summoning circle you were teleported onto looked like?"

"Uhm…" Saber gulped before he took a glance at Bell, who nodded as if to say that he shouldn't worry

"Well, I think it should be fine, it's going to make explaining this simpler." Saber mumbled, he wasn't stupid enough to enquire the wrath of a god, even if it was a chibi one

Hestia gave him a sheet of paper and a pencil, allowing Saber to doodle the symbol on it and give the paper back to Hestia, who looked at it intrigued

"This is what it looked like." Saber crossed his arms, thankful that the Grail allowed him the knowledge on how to draw the circle

"I see… I've never seen a circle like this…" Hestia mumbled while Bell looked at the drawing and confirmed that it was indeed the same circle

But while they were analysing the drawing, a drop of blood from Hestia's still open wound on her finger fell on the drawing, making Hestia widen her eyes

"Oh shoot! I was so shocked about this I forgot about this wound!" Hestia yelped

But then something shocking happened, the divine blood ended up being absorbed by the drawing, making the three present widen their eyes in shock

"Eh?" The three went, not even Saber knew what was going to happen now

The circle in the drawing began to glow in a clear blue light, making Hestia drop the paper to cover her eyes, and as if dropped on the ground three circles of light began to spin over it before a large pillar of light erupted from the paper, making Bell put himself in front of Hestia to protect her while Saber jumped back to try and hide from whatever this was

From the light a figure was formed, it looked feminine but it was hard to discern it's features amongst the great amount of light. It took a while for the light to finally dissipate and when it did the three could finally look clearly at what had happened

"W-what!?" Saber gaped in shock at what he saw

The paper was now burnt to a crisp and standing above it was a slender woman, her long black hair styled with two ponytails to the sides while it extended down her back, her outfit being only a white chest cover and black thong around her waist, not leaving much to the imagination, one of her arms being covered by a black glove with golden accessories while one of her legs was covered by a blue stocking with gold accessories, her hair having black ornaments that looked similar to a crown. She opened her eyes, revealing the red coloring on them, as she put her hands on her hips

"Servant Archer, the goddess Ishtar has come in response to your summon, be grateful and you best respect me deeply-"

"HUUUUUUUUH!?" The three present yelled in shock

"A DIVINE SPIRIT!? BUT THEY'RE SUPPOSED TO BE IMPOSSIBLE TO SUMMON DURING A HOLY GRAIL WAR!" Saber yelled

"A GODDESS!? ANOTHER GODDESS IS HERE!?" Bell didn't know what to think

"ISHTAR!? HUH!? BUT YOU DON'T! WHAT'S GOING ON!?" Hestia was in shock about this new person in front of her

The, probably, goddess Ishtar looked at the three panicking, trying to figure out what exactly was happening with them

"Geez, you lot are a noisy bunch." Ishtar said as she rubbed the back of her head

And here we are with another fic! Danmachi and Fate are two things I've been wanting to try writting for a while and I had the idea for this Fic since a long while and I finally took the time to try and write it.

So, Jason and Bell! What a pairing for our first Master Servant team! Who do you guys think will be the other masters and servants that will appear?

And about the Hestia and Ishtar pairing, do know that the mortals must follow the rules, but the gods break them for their own reasons. That will most likelly cause problems with the Grail, but hey, that's a problem for future versions of them!

Chapter Text

It took a while for things to calm down after Not Ishtar's appearance, now having everyone sitting on some chairs that were brought to the room while this new person was sitting on the bed

"Okay, are you all done now?" New Ishtar asked while crossing her legs

"Yes…" the three responded

"Good, now we can begin-"

"Wait, why am I being treated lowly like this!?" Hestia protested

"Oh yeah, you're my Master and a Goddess too… I guess I forgot since you started screaming like the humans." New Ishtar shrugged with a smirk

"Hey!"

"Well, anyway! I guess explanations are in order! So, what exactly do you want to know first?" New Ishtar asked

"First, what are you two?" Bell raised his hand to ask like the good boy he is

"Great place to start. Saber, answer him." New Ishtar snapped her fingers

"Eh!? Why did you get all this presentation in front if you're not even the one that's going to explain stuff!?" Saber questioned incredulously

"Are you questioning me?" New Ishtar asked with a glare

"Nope!" Saber shook his head

"Good. Now please explain before I get bored." New Ishtar said while planting her chin on her hand

"So, to try and make a quick explanation of this… Both me and her aren't human." Saber began, making Bell look at him confused

Hestia was also confused by this, the new girl had the divinity of a goddess, yes, but Saber looked just like a human and didn't really have divinity on him

"We are Servants, more akin to what you would call a Spirit which embodies the legends of great figures in history, both future and past." Saber explained to the two

"Spirits!? Was that why you managed to block the Minotaur like that!?" Bell asked

"That is precisely why. Spirits are quite powerful, aren't we?" Saber boasted a little

"Legends of great figures? So even gods!?" Hestia asked in shock pointing at New Ishtar

"In a way. This isn't my real form, I take the image of a human and make it my vessel to be able to appear." New Ishtar explained with a little shrug

"Oh, that explains why you're so…" Hestia began but stopped when she saw New Ishtar's glaring at her

"So what?" New Ishtar asked innocently

"I was going to say young looking…" Hestia came up with a different end to her sentence

"Sure you were." New Ishtar decided to accept that "At least I'm not a loli big boobs."

"Even you know about that!?" Hestia yelled in shock

"Goddess, please don't argue with… other Goddess…" Bell realized how confusing this would be

"Let's continue before those two explode the church." Saber urged "Next question?"

"Ah yes, why are you two here? And also what's with calling us Master?" Bell asked the next question

"Ah yes, that." Saber thought about for a moment, trying to find the information for this time in his mind "Alright, got it. Sit down because this will be a long explanation."

"I'm already sitting down though…"

"Way of saying, rabbit." New Ishtar deadpanned

"To explain this in simple terms, we are connected to the one who summoned us by those command seals, they are the ones who can force us to do whatever they want and the ones who give us magic to continue existing and fighting for them." Saber explained in a simple way so Bell and Hestia wouldn't have a problem understanding it

"So that's why Bell's magic stat increased so much and that weird spell appeared on his sheet, you simply being around evolves his magic." Hestia said snapping her fingers in realization

"And it's the same between me and you, Master. Although, with you I can feel a nearly bottomless amount of magic. Must be the fact that you're a goddess, so good thing I was the one that got you." New Ishtar looked rather smug

"So, you two have to follow whatever we say?" Bell asked

The two servants looked at him for a moment before they then bursted out laughing, making Bell blush and look at the two confused

"D-did I say something wrong?" Bell asked

"Hahaha! Master, are you saying that you'd be ordering me around?" Saber laughed some more before sighing "Yeah, not happening. As I told you, I'm a captain first, fighter… around fifth."

"Fifth!?"

"So don't think you can order me around to fight in the front lines like any other Servant. You look like a novice warrior, so I'll train you to be a great one that will thrive under the support of an amazing captain, such as myself!" Saber exclaimed, making New Ishtar chuckle

"Be careful, rabbit. Training from this one might count as negative experience." The goddess of love chuckled some more

"Oi!" Saber yelled offended

"Quit calling my Bell rabbit!" Hestia demanded

"Would bunny boy be better?"

"That's way worse!"

"C-can mister Saber continue with the explanation?" Bell asked before the two goddesses lost themselves in shenanigans

"Oh right!" Saber remembered that he was explaining stuff "So your magic is keeping us in this world, and the more we go all out, the more magic we draw out from you, so that's a second reason for you to get stronger."

"I don't have that problem." New Ishtar smirked

"Lucky…" Saber grumbled

"I see… So how strong you can be also depends on the master you have." Bell mumbled, was that why Saber got sent flying by a punch of that Minotaur?

"And now for the other part of the question, the reason why we're here…" Saber took a deep breath, this was the part he was dreading having to explain "We were summoned by a holy artifact that can grant wishes, named the Holy Grail, to come fight in a war to be able to get said wish."

Bell and Hestia had to take a moment to take that all in, their minds slowly processing what was said to them before their eyes widened

"A war!?" Hestia yelled "My Bell and I are involved in a war!?"

"Not any war, a Great Holy Grail War!" New Ishtar snapped her fingers "It's different from a normal Holy Grail War."

"H-How so?" Bell asked, still shaken up by the fact that he got caught up on something like this by accident

"A normal Holy Grail War consists of seven servants and seven masters that fight each other until only one remains, to which this one gets the Holy Grail and the wish. The servants are each of a specific class, Saber, that's me, people more famous for their swordsmanship or have legendary swords." Saber signaled to himself "Archer."

"That's the one I'm in." New Ishtar pointed at herself "The bowmen, people who are archers, or basically use any projectile to fight. But I do have my bow here."

"Lancer, the ones known for using spears and are usually quite fast. Rider, famous for riding some specific mount. Caster, magicians specialized in the mystical arts. Assassin, great assassins or criminals. And Berserker, the ones who had gone mad sometime in their life." Saber explained while crossing his arms

"I understand. But what are the differences between that and a Great war?" Hestia asked the real question

"The main difference is that instead of being only seven, it's fourteen divided between two factions who fight each other for the Grail, with an extra servant being of the Ruler class, which acts as a mediator for the war." Saber lifted two fingers

"Your Saber here is from the White Faction, since, y'know, the boy's hair is white." New Ishtar pointed at Bell "But, instead of this one having a Ruler, since my Master accidentally messed with the summoning circle, her divinity scrambled the Grail a little and now, you'll have divine servants as your mediators! If you entertain me enough I may favor you a little, just so you know."

"Huh!? That's how it works!?" Saber asked in shock

"That's what I was informed by the Grail, yes." New Ishtar glanced at Saber "And before you ask, no, I don't know how many of us there'll be, it'll really depend on how many Familias will get Servants. I hope it isn't many, having a third faction of only divine servants will be such a pain to deal with."

"So, you're only a mediator, goddess?" Bell asked

"That's right, rabbit." New Ishtar said, making Hestia fume at the cute nickname she gave her Bell "That means that I won't interfere unless absolutely necessary."

"So you're a useless goddess basically…" Saber let that one slip

It didn't even take a second for New Ishtar to slam her foot on Saber's face and squash him against the ground with great strength, making the blonde scream in pain

"YOU DARE!? I'LL SHOW YOU USELESS, GOLDY LOCKS! THIS IS WHY YOU BLONDE COCKY BASTARDS ALWAYS PISS ME OFF!" New Ishtar yelled as she stomped on Saber

"IT WAS A JOKE! IT WAS A JOKE! I'M SORRY!" Saber begged for his life at the goddess's feet

Bell and Hestia watched the shenanigans happening but didn't pay full attention to it, their minds were still processing this incredibly massive amount of information that was just dumped on them

"My Bell… In a war…?" Hestia mumbled, this was bad, her Bell could actually die in this situation! And with a servant like that Saber, he was for sure an easy target! "How could I never have heard of something like this?"

"Well, us gods are mostly worried about things that entertain us, so I assume this type of thing never really interested you. I bet if you asked a god of war about this they'd probably say they saw a few as entertainment." New Ishtar shrugged at Hestia's comments

"CAN YOU GET OFF ME NOW!?" Saber begged, to which Ishtar decided to spare him out of the goodness of her heart, for sure not because she got annoyed of his voice

"The Grail can grant any wish, right?" Bell asked, looking at Saber

"Yes." Saber nodded

"Well… Then, I'll try my best to win, mister Saber!" Bell exclaimed, determination welling in his eyes "And… I'll wish to be able to become a great hero!"

Saber looked at his Master, his gaze was complicated to discern. He felt that wish was… not really a good one, but, the determination on the boy's eyes was something that he also sees in heroes in the Argo. Saber sighs, he knows that wish won't last, but the boy is young so he still doesn't realize that

"If that's your wish, Master. Then, as your captain, I'll guide you to acquire it." Saber smirked at his master. This boy would fit right in the Argo

Bell smiled at Saber supporting him, Hestia still didn't look pleased with this, but since there were going to be two factions, Bell could probably still be safe until they were completed… At least she hopes

"Geez…" New Ishtar threw her hair back and began to walk out of the room "You can finish this between yourselves, I'll be waiting in the living room."

And now the three were left in the room once again, with Bell looking at his goddess and seeing her worried look. Her put a hand on her shoulder and assured that he would be fine, he had Saber after all and there would be so many other heroes around that he could learn from, that did calm Hestia somewhat, but she still wasn't fully sure

"Plus, there will be the divine servants as mediators in case things get out of control." Bell smiled at Hestia

"Well, the current one we have isn't really that reliable…" both Saber and Hestia thought

But Hestia smiled, deciding to trust Bell for now…

"So… Am I still joining the Familia?" Saber asked

"Ah, right! We got so caught up in this we forgot about that!" Bell realized while rubbing the back of his head, chuckling to himself

Hestia sighed with a smile, her Familia was growing at least so that was good

Jason was now shirtless and laying on the bed with his back up, the goddess sitting on top of him and poking her finger with a needle

"If the Medea of the Argo saw this she'd be pretty upset I imagine…" Saber thought, shivering over the idea of seeing that woman angry

Hestia pressed her blood on his back, giving him her blessing… Only for a different kind of Falna to appear on his back, making her gasp in surprise

"What's this? I never saw this before!" Hestia exclaimed

"Eh?" Saber was now worried

"What is it, Goddess?" Bell asked

"This Falna is completely different from the type humans have, but they're all supposed to be the same… Well, I suppose it makes sense, I never saw a Spirit get a Falna before, so it being different probably means it's like this for all Spirits…" Hestia pondered, she'd have to ask the other gods about this another time

She took a sheet of paper and pressed it against his back, writing down the information from what she got, before getting out of his back

"And done! Welcome to the Familia, Saber!" Hestia said with a smile

"I'm glad you're one of us now, mister Saber!" Bell smiled at him

"Glad to be here, miss goddess." Saber said not really that enthusiastic, getting up from the bed

"Oh, let's see your stats! I got so distracted by it being different that I forgot about them!" Hestia urged them closer

"Even while you wrote them?" Saber asked confused as he approached

"She's excited, cut her some slack, mister Saber." Bell chuckled as he also came to look at the stat sheet

"Mine doesn't have numbers?" Jason blurted out

"This is a level one that just got into a Familia!? His stats are insane!" Bell yelled in shock

"I know! And he even comes with magic of his own and so many skills! No wonder Spirits don't become adventurers often, they'd be so sought after entire Familias would wage wars against each other to be able to get them!" Hestia exclaimed, getting very happy that she managed to get two of them just for her Familia! She was so rubbing this on Loki's face! "Wait, your actual name is Jason? Why have you been going by Saber?"

"Well, going by my class better hides my real identity so other Servants don't get the knowledge of my weaknesses, you know? I am built in the image of a historical figure after all." Saber explained "So I'd appreciate it if you kept referring to me as Saber."

"Alright, mister Saber." Bell nodded

"So, since it's finally over, who wants to eat some Jagamarukun!? All of this made me hungry! Let's celebrate the new member of our Familia!" Hestia cheered

"Great idea, Goddess!" Bell cheered

"Well, I do love when my greatness is noticed, so I accept the celebration!" Saber cackled to himself

Even though Servants didn't need to eat, he still wanted to party

The three Familia members and fourth extra member were now on the part of the place that could be considered the living room, sitting down and eating some fried potatoes, which are the so called Jagamarukun, it seems Hestia works by selling these

"A goddess working as a food saleswoman, that's new." Saber said while taking a bite out of the potato

"You guys don't even have any gems?" New Ishtar asked, also taking a bite just to see how it tasted. And it wasn't half bad honestly

"Yeah, no… We really are struggling financially since we are still a pretty new Familia." Bell explained to the divine spirit

"Oh…" said spirit stared at them with a look that looked like a mix of pity and disgust at their situation, and the situation she was now forced to live in

"Don't give us that look!" Hestia yelled at being most likely mentally called broke by another version of a goddess that pisses her off

"Saber, first mission as the team captain, get this faction some money for a better base." New Ishtar looked at Saber, to which he nodded

"I was already planning on it after getting a better layout of the city." Saber answered

"They got all serious…" Bell deadpanned

"Well, as a noble captain I can't accept having me or my Master living in such a situation. First thing in the morning after signing me as an adventurer at the guild, I will explore this city to learn it's layout." Jason nodded

"Do it during the night, you don't need to sleep anyway." New Ishtar took another bite of her Jagamarukun "Because tomorrow I want to see what this dungeon is all about."

"Eh!? You can't! The gods are prohibited from entering the dungeon!" Hestia protested

"Relax, people don't even know what or who I am. Besides, I'll just turn off my divinity like you do." New Ishtar shrugged "Besides, it will be just the upper floors and I'll have these two around to help."

"Well… then it should be fine. But you can't go around being called Ishtar! Even as a spirit that embodies her legend, which is still something I don't fully understand when it comes to us gods-" Hestia began

"Oh, there's a second one here? I wonder how she is." New Ishtar blurted out, alright piecing together the reason for her to not be able to use her name

"It will cause a lot of trouble for someone to go walking around calling themselves the name of another God that's already here in the gekai!" Hestia finished

"That does bring a good point." Saber thoughtfully said and turned to Ishtar "What do we call you?"

"Well, she is an archer, so Archer?" Bell suggested

"No, it will get confusing once your faction gets their archer." Archer Ishtar denied that idea

"How about Spirit?" Saber suggested

"It would be like calling someone human." Spirit Ishtar deadpanned

"Flatshtar." Hestia smirked

"Are you trying to get me mad?" Flat Ishtar glared before sighing "Just call me Archer D. Shorten it for D when talking to me in public."

"D?" Bell blinked confused

"For divine." Archer D asked with a little smile on her face

"Pretentious." Saber mumbled

"You say something?" Archer D asked

"Not at all!"

As the three members began their shenanigans once again Hestia grabbed the paper with Bell's Falna once again and looked at it, seeing the Skill part and seeing the blurred skill he had. She frowned a little

"Such a skill… and for her…" Hestia's eyes soften slightly with a saddened look

Outside the Church. Night.

Bell and Hestia were already sleeping inside, and so Saber took this opportunity to go outside to begin his exploration. When he got out and began to walk down the street, the divine servant floated down beside him, crossing her arms

"Hey." Ishtar began

"Yes?" Jason asked

"So, she gave you her blessing and made you part of this whole group, correct?" Ishtar asked, starting to walk alongside him

"That's what she said, yes." Jason nodded

"I see." Ishtar looked up for a moment "You don't feel different."

"Well, she said it doesn't really feel like a great surge at the beginning but once it starts to get updated is when I'll start feeling the differences." Jason mentioned

"Right." Ishtar hummed, starting to float again "Welp, I'll do my own thing now. Have fun exploring."

Jason looked up at her as she flew away, wondering why she wanted to talk to him like that before shrugging and simply continuing on his walk

Ishtar put herself in a position which looked like she was sitting in the air, her legs close to her body with her knees serving as a platform for her to press her chin against

"It doesn't feel like a surge at the start." Ishtar hummed "But I could feel the divine energy on the boy, but not on you though…"

Orario. Morning.

Saber, Archer D and Bell were making their way to the guild after a good night's sleep for the master. It was around five A.M currently and the three were more than ready to start the day with some exploration of the dungeon after getting Saber registered

"Master, how far down the dungeon are we going to go?" Saber asked

"I was… planning on playing it safe today and staying on level one." Bell explained meekly

"After the events with the Minotaur that's a-"

"Stupid decision." Archer D interrupted Saber, making the blonde do a noise of indignation "Staying in the first floor won't allow you to evolve at all, and from what I've heard those magic stones that the monsters drop can be traded for valis and the lower floor monsters drop better gems, so you are going to go to at least level five with me."

"Are you sure, miss D?" Bell asked

"You want to be a great hero, right?" Archer D asked making Bell nod "Then, rabbit, you have to get ready to take risks. Consider this some divine advice."

"You just want him to go lower so he can get more money and we can buy a better place quicker." Saber mumbled

"Also that. I do not like living in that run down church. It's cramped and dirty, not fitting for a goddess." Archer D crossed her arms

"You shouldn't just be saying that out loud, good thing no one heard." Saber looked around to be sure before sighing "But I do agree, if we will be an entire faction we will need a bigger base… And I also don't like that cramped church. Good thing I have a plan for that already."

As the two servants talked, Bell widened his eyes for a moment and quickly turned around as if he felt threatened, that made Saber and Archer D turn towards him with a confused look, before Bell slowly turned back to them

"What was that?" Archer D asked

"Sorry, I felt like someone was staring at me. Like they were sizing me up." Bell rubbed the back of his head

"An enemy? Could be an assassin." Archer D looked around

"Unlikely, the direction he looked is too open for there to be an assassin hiding. And if it actually were one that could hide in such an open space, the rabbit would be dead by now." Saber said

"Surprisingly good assessment from you." Archer D blinked

Bell smiled at Saber reassuring that it was fine, making the servant smirk and shrug, as if saying "what can ya do". The three continued until they passed through some store, to which a girl called for them

"H-Hey!"

"Hm?" Bell turned

When he turned he saw a girl wearing a barmaid uniform, her gray hair being tied back in a small ponytail, her steps a little careful as she approached

"Sorry for bothering you, but I think this belongs to you. I found it on the floor yesterday after you passed by." the girl said, giving a magic stone to Bell

Bell grabbed the stone and started to talk with the girl, leaving Archer D and Saber to stand back as the third wheels, glancing at each other for a moment

"Who's that?" Archer D asked

"Not sure, didn't see her yesterday." Saber shrugged

The two saw how they interacted, how Bell's stomach growled and how the girl offered him her lunch so he wouldn't be hungry, the two blushing at each other

"Ooh, maybe lovers?" Archer D smiled

"No, he already is in love with the Sword Princess, Ais Wallenstein." Saber crossed his arms

"Hey, he can have more than one lover. I think this body I have is familiar with that concept." Archer D put a hand on her chin "Maybe I'll give him some advice."

"That's a bad idea." Saber urged

"Oh come on, I'm a goddess of love, what could go wrong?" Archer D turned to him

"Don't say that out loud, and a lot of things actually!" Saber exclaimed, remembering the last time he saw a goddess of love help someone get their lover

"Oh, what do you know?"

"A lot!"

As the two discussed about goddesses of love, Bell came back to them, waving at the girl and smiling at her

"Oh! I'm Bell Cranel!" Bell gave her his name

"I'm Syr Florer, it's a pleasure. Can't wait to see you here at night." The girl smiled waving back

And so Bell signaled for the two servants to continue with him

"So~" Archer D decided to have some fun, crouching slightly while walking beside Bell "Got yourself a girl, rabbit?"

"W-What!?" Bell blushed at her question

"I saw how you two were looking at each other, and I know my stuff, I'm a goddess of love, you know?" Archer D chuckled to herself

"M-Miss D, don't tease me! She was just being nice!" Bell protested "And also probably just trying to make me come back at night to spend more money…"

"You're so innocent it's kind of cute. It makes me feel nostalgic for some reason." Archer D said, going back to walking normally

"So, I assume that we will have our celebration at that pub after today's adventure?" Saber asked

"Well, I did promise I would eat there so yes. It's called the Hostess of Fertility by the way." Bell mentioned

"I like the name, I'm in." Archer D smiled, she was also the goddess of fertility so sounded like a place for her

"Since you two are going I think I don't have another choice…" Saber sighed

They'd have to make a lot of valis today to be able to afford food there, because Archer D was for sure going to buy a lot of stuff even though she doesn't need it

Guild. Morning.

The three had finally managed to get to the guild, with Archer D deciding to stay outside as the boring stuff was organized, leaving Saber and Bell to come inside and see Eina at the usual working spot she stayed

"Miss Eina!" Bell waved at her, getting the attention of the half elf

"Oh, hello Bell. Saber." Eina did a little bow at the two

"Hello, Eina." Saber did a polite bow

"So, did Saber officially enter the Familia?" Eina asked

"Yes he did! We are very excited to have a new member, and we are going to explore the dungeon today." Bell smiled as he explained, making Eina smile as well

"And don't worry, we will stay around the higher floors." Saber reassured, not fully lying but also not telling the whole true

"That's a relief. Well, here you go." Eina sighed while pulling out a small document for Saber to fill "Just fill up this document and you will officially be an adventurer. And if you want you can buy our starter kit for three hundred thousand valis."

"Three hundred thousand!?" Saber widened his eyes in shock, turning to Bell who looked down in pain at the reminder of how costly this all was "I'll be fine with my normal equipment."

"If you say so. Just be careful." Eina nodded

Saber saw the document and noticed how simple it was, just asking a name and his level as necessary information, making him hum to himself as he wrote "Saber" and "Level 1", this was a lot simpler than he expected

"And all done." Saber then gave the document back to Eina, who took it and smiled

"Very well. You are officially an adventurer, Saber." Eina nodded, seeming happy that Bell found someone older to help him in the dungeon

Saber turned to Bell and gave him a little high five, the two said their goodbyes to Eina and made their way out, meeting with Archer D who was with her back against a wall, before noticing them and walking beside them

"Done?" She asked

"Yes, it was very easy. All they ask is a name and a level, nothing else." Saber sighed while rubbing the top of his head "And here I thought I'd have to come up with tons of excuses for my stats…"

"Well, the Falna is something incredibly important for each adventurer, almost as much as their own lives, so not even the guild can force you to show it to them." Bell explained

"It makes sense." Archer D shrugged "It is the blessing from their god which is allowing them to reach greatness, protecting it and treating it so carefully is to be expected."

"These blessings are very different from the ones from before." Saber mumbled

"Huh?" Bell turned to Saber, thinking he heard something

"Enough talking. Let's go, time for some dungeon exploring." Archer D signaled for the two to follow her, which they did

The three began to walk, with Bell moving a little faster to stay beside the goddess, trying to talk to her

"Miss D, I don't think you'll be able to enter the dungeon. You're not an adventurer, and I don't think my goddess would be happy if you revealed your divinity just to enter." Bell mentioned, making Archer D poke him in the nose

"Don't worry about that. Us spirits have a special thing about ourselves. We can turn incorporeal for traveling, making people without good enough magical detection to notice us." Archer D mentioned, before throwing her hair back with her arms and disappearing from view, making Bell widen his eyes

"Wow…" Bell was in awe

"It also helps save up magic from the Master, so it's also very useful." Saber explained making Bell nod

"I see! You spirits are amazing." Bell said excited "I'm very happy that I can learn from you!"

Saber smirked smugly, raising his arm and flipping his hair in a cocky manner, like he was saying "mmmmm, naturally!"

Dungeon, Floor 4

This travel through the dungeon was a relatively calm one, there weren't any high level monsters like the Minotaur from before, and Bell seemed to be handling his own

"Graaah!" Bell screamed as he slashed a Kobolt in half

Saber smirked at the way Bell was fighting, pointing his arm to the side and yelling

"A Goblin from the left! Kick and move for a stab!"

"Got it!" Bell yelled, kicking a Goblin that tried jumping at him, stabbing it right in the head and slashing it in half with his dagger

And Archer D, who had rematerialized herself after entering the dungeon, was also being relatively entertained by this, seeing the boy defeat the monsters was fun and the gems they dropped were quite nice as well, she let out a little smirk as she moved close to grab them while humming to herself

"Aren't you going to help your master?" Archer D asked

"I am." Saber answered with conviction "From behind, a Frog Shooter!"

Bell dodged from the side, dodging an attack from the monster. Archer D got back up after collecting some of the magic stones, giving Saber a side eye

"You are kind of reversing the roles here, aren't you?" Archer D noticed

"Well, as the Familia Captain, me giving him directions is a great way to help." Saber boasted his position

"When was that agreed upon?"

"I thought it was obvious ever since I joined."

Archer D gave Saber a deadpan look, walking back and standing right behind him. Seeing Bell slashing through various monsters she noticed that he seemed to be starting to get a little tired, to which she knew what to do

"Bell, now-" Saber yelled before being kicked in the back and sent flying towards "WAAAAAAAAGH!"

Bell turned to see what was that scream, only for Saber to slam into a Goblin headfirst, killing it on impact and tumbling onto the ground

"Mister Saber!?" Bell widened his eyes in shock before quickly raising his dagger to block a hit from a Kobolt

"WHAT WAS THAT FOR, D!?" Saber yelled, getting back up

"The way you were acting made me mad. Now entertain me along with the rabbit." Archer D said dismissively

"DAMN YOU, GODDESS!" Jason yelled, pulling his sword out

And in the moment he did he heard a creature roaring and trying to claw at him, making him help and move back, quickly slashing at it and managing to decapitate it

"Oh, they are really weak actually." Saber blinked before coughing into his hand "I mean obviously, and since you look so tired I suppose I can give you a little hand."

"He's not even good at faking it." Archer D deadpanned

"Now, let's make haste to the fifth floor!" Saber declared, having Bell finish the final Goblin in their way

Dungeon, Floor 5

"WAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"

Saber screamed as he ran away from a massive swarm of Kobolts that seemed to be targeting him in specific

"Mister Saber!" Bell yelled, kicking one Kobolt away and trying to run to help his captain

"Hahaha! Now this is nice to see!" Archer D was having fun watching Saber suffer like that

"YOU DAMN GODDESS! WHAT'S YOUR ISSUE WITH ME!?" Saber screamed

"Hmm, I'm not really sure. I think it's the way you look and act." Archer D shrugged, not even sure of it herself, normally she would have some fun with this stuff but was this really that different from her normal self?

"Miss D! Don't be mean to mister Saber, please!" Bell yelled, making her look at him and have her gaze soften ever so slightly

"Fine fine, just don't cry, rabbit." Archer D pulled out two gems from somewhere, throwing them towards the wave of Kobolts

The two gems then turn into lasers, being sent directly amongst the wave of Kobolts and blowing them away, which also ended up blowing Saber away into a wall. That attack destroyed most of the Kobolts, while the rest were finished care of by Bell

"So strong!" Bell said impressed after finishing the remaining monsters. Even with D completely suppressing her divinity, she was still so strong!

"There, aren't I merciful?" Archer D said while looking at Saber, before turning back to Bell "I'll try to relax on the pranks on him, how does that sound?"

"I'd appreciate that, miss D." Bell sighed in relief, making the goddess smile slightly

"Why are you so much nicer to him!?" Saber yelled but didn't receive an answer

Archer D began to collect the magic stones along with Bell, while Saber got himself back up, dusting himself off

"And with all of this collected, let's make our way back to the city." Archer D signaled back with her hand

"Already?" Bell asked "I feel like I can still go on."

"Yeah, but I already saw what I wanted to see. This dungeon really works as a living organism, it's very interesting." Archer D said, seeing some new monsters being birthed by the walls "Besides, you have that promise to keep with that girl, right?"

"O-Oh right! Thank you for reminding me!" Bell nodded

"I agree with going back, it's rude to keep a lady waiting. Especially when she offers you dinner." Saber said like that was great knowledge

"You're so right, mister Saber!" Bell nodded making Saber smirk and boast over his greatness

"He was running away from monsters he could easily kill in one hit, don't act like he's cool." Archer D sighed, shaking her head and walking through the way back, signaling with her hand for them to follow

"H-Hey! I'm the captain! I can guide our way out!" Saber yelled following the goddess

"Wait, miss D! Don't walk away!" Bell ran after her

On the walk back, Archer D was analysing the things she had grabbed, there were various magic stones, which she thought looked quite pretty and they seemed rather expensive, she was kinda sad she'd have to sell them, but she found some parts of monsters that didn't disappear when they disintegrated

"Oh, drop items!" Bell said, seeing Archer D holding a Kobolt Claw

"Drop Item?" Archer D looked at Bell

"Yes, monsters have a chance to drop an item when defeated, we can sell them for quite a lot!" Bell explained, making Archer D's eyes widen with some excitement

"So we are a step closer to getting a better place." Archer D smirked

"I don't think drop items from low level monsters will give us enough for the mansion you're imagining." Saber dropped the ball

"Damnit!" Archer D cursed

Bell chuckled at how she reacted

Hostess of Fertility. Evening.

After trading the magic stones and drop items at the guild, they got a rather big amount of valis considering the normal amount Bell gets, which got the trio ready for dinner at the Hostess of Fertility

"Shouldn't we go back to the church first?" Bell asked

"Is it because of your stats? They won't go away, the goddess can update them anytime, and you promised this girl you'd be here. I'm sure she'll understand." Saber said, patting Bell's shoulder

"I doubt it." Archer D thought

The three made their way in, looking around and seeing the staff. A muscular dwarf lady seemed to be the owner who was cleaning some cups, various cat girls moved around the place, delivering food to the various customers

"Wait, are all the employees girls!?" Bell thought while gulping, turning to Saber

"What a cozy place." Who had his arms crossed while looking around

And then at Archer D

"Reminds me of some places." Who was also treating this casually

"These two truly are on another level compared to me." Bell sighed

"Bell?" A third voice was heard, making Bell snap out of his thoughts

He looked forward and saw Syr right there, smiling at him, which Bell retributed with a rather awkward smile

"I-I'm here!" Bell said

"That you are. And I see you brought your two friends." Syr said, noticing the two extras "Welcome!"

"Hey." Archer D waved with a smirk, looking at her and then at Bell as if trying to say something

"We are members of the same Familia, I'm Saber, and this is D. It's a pleasure." Saber said, being polite with the girl

"Saber and D…? Those are… Unique names." Syr said, trying to be nice

"They are more like nicknames, our real names are not something we are really comfortable sharing." Saber lifted his hand with a smile

"Ah, I understand." Syr nodded, turning around and announcing to the other employees "Seating three!"

Bell blushed, being embarrassed at the yell and over being at a bar like this for the first time. The three were taken by Syr to a table for them, Bell trying to ignore the looks they were getting because of Saber's golden armor glowing and Archer D's scandalous clothes, the two didn't seem to mind at all

"Here, have a seat." Syr had a small bow

"Thank you." Bell bowed back, and so the three sat down

They were seated on chairs in front of the counter, leaving the dwarf lady working in front of them, with them being organized with Bell in the right, Saber in the middle, and Archer D on the left. Bell was still nervous, which the two noticed, but they weren't sure how to get him to calm down

"The poor boy must be overwhelmed with so many girls around, he must be at that age." Archer D teased

"M-Miss D!" Bell whined while blushing

"It's normal, don't worry. But you should be used to the female figure, you've been with the perfect incarnation of beauty that is me the entire day." Archer D smugly showed herself off

"Well… It is true that you are very pretty and you leave little to the imagination but… somehow you have a calming presence to yourself, not really a provocative one." Bell explained, making Archer D blink confused

"Not provocative? What's that supposed to mean, rabbit!? Are you saying I'm not sexy!? I'll have you know-" Archer D began to get upset, making Bell raise his arms in self defense while Saber let out a laugh, which caused Archer D to kick him in the shin "Don't you laugh!"

"Agh! My leg!" Saber yelled in pain

"Haha!" The dwarf woman laughed seeing the three, making them turn to her "So you three are Syr's guests, huh? You're a charming bunch fer adventurers."

She leaned over the counter, analysing them, leaving Bell even more embarrassed while confusing Saber and Archer D, before she moved back and crossed her arms

"Just give a holler if ya need anything! I heard ya were going all out today, so just ask and we will keep the food coming!" The dwarf woman said with a large smile, confusing the three

"Huh?" Saber blinked confused

Archer D turned around, seeing Syr turning away and smiling innocently, making the disguised goddess let out a singular cackle

"I think that's the first time I'm hearing that." Bell deadpanned, already knowing who was responsible for saying that

"Hee hee…" Syr let out an awkward laugh

"It was you, wasn't it?" Saber sighed, not even looking at the girl

"Yes. I told Mama Mia that I was bringing someone today and I talked you up a little." Syr looked away while pressing her fingers together

"You did that on purpose, didn't you?" Bell asked

"I'm rooting for you!" Syr smiled

"I like her. She's clever." Archer D giggled

"We won't be doing any going all out, we still don't have the money for that. Just bring us some water and some chicken, please." Saber sighed while looking at the table, even in the normal humans were dangerous around here it seems

"Fair enough, fair enough. But instead of water, how about some ale?" Mia asked with a grin

"The boy is still underaged." Saber asked, only for them to get ale anyway, sighing and giving up at this point "Okay then…"

After Syr's shenanigans were cleared up they began to eat their orders, with Syr sitting down beside Bell to talk after a little while. Saber was eating without saying much, these women were on another level of taking money from people, he needed to be careful because they already made them spend more to get ale, truly impressive.

Archer D was enjoying the atmosphere of this place, it was pretty cozy and everyone seemed to be having fun. And watching Bell shooting his shot at Syr, or whatever he was doing, she wasn't really being able to hear the whole conversation, was pretty fun to see. She thought that having to hide her divinity due to her masters orders to not alert the Ishtar or this place was going to make things boring, but it actually made her have some more common type of fun

As the three were relaxing themselves, the door is suddenly swung open, a large group of various races ends up entering the bar, making Bell widen his eyes nervously, something Saber and Archer D notice

"I-its…" Bell mumbled

The group consisted of a red haired slim woman, a blonde human, a green haired elf, a blonde pallum, two amazoness and a werewolf. Bell lowers himself but he can't look away

"Why is he so enthralled with them?" Archer D asks Saber

"The blonde one is the Sword Princess he is in love with. The Ais Wallenstein I told you about." Saber whispered to the goddess

"Oh! So that's the one he has feelings for. And that's her Familia right?" Archer D questions

"Yes, they are the Loki Familia, one of the highest ranked Familias in Orario." Syr explained "They are regulars here. And that red haired one, is their goddess."

The two servants watched the Familia, one of the strongest in the city and the ones with the highest chance of managing to summon Servants themselves, so they could end up being potential allies or enemies. While Bell's face turned redder and redder as he watched Ais interacting with her Familia

"Hey Ais, can I lay on your lap? I'm completely drained from today!" The readhead goddess whined

"I'd rather you didn't." Ais answered

"Come on! Not even a little squeeze on them thighs?"

"Do that and I'll stab you."

"So cold!" Loki laughed, drinking some ale that was just delivered for them

"Yo, Ais, tell us that story!" The werewolf asked while raising a cup of ale himself

"Story?" Ais blinked confused

"You know the one, about the minotaurs that got away! Remember? That one you finished off and the tomato boys!" The werewolf yelled

Bell froze in place, his eyes widening as he tried to hide his head, Saber nearly coughed out his food, Archer D didn't quite get what was with their reaction

"It was because of them!?" Saber whispered amongst his small group

"Because of them what?" Archer D asked

"When I was first summoned, the kid was being attacked by a Minotaur in the higher floors, which is not something that is supposed to happen it seems." Saber explained

"Oh! So they nearly killed you two basically?" Archer D snapped her fingers

"Yes." Saber nodded, looking at Bell and seeing his face turn redder and redder

"And then Ais went after one of them, and saw that the Minotaur was fighting two guys! A newbie and some random! The random took a punch so hard the splatted against the wall while the newbie was nearly pissing himself like a little rabbit!" The werewolf cackles

"Oh, what happened to them? Were they okay?" One of the amazoness asked

Bell turned to look at Saber, he noticed that he didn't seem to show a reaction when they talked about him, however, when it seemed that they were making fun of Bell he glanced towards them. The same with Archer D. The two of them began to frown, seeing how much the werewolf was laughing

"They were fine, Ais came and cut the Minotaur in half, and covered the two in the cow's blood! That's why I call them Tomato Boys! Gahahahaha!" The Werewolf laughed some more before one of the Amazoness smacked him in the chest "Ough! My ribs!"

"Ais, you didn't mean to do that, did you?" The elf asked, rubbing her temples

"No, I didn't…" Ais looked embarrassed

"And it gets better! That disappointment of a fighter had at least the decency to thank Ais, but the kid runs away, making the other guy go after him! Ais must have scared the hell out of that newbie!" The werewolf laughed a lot more

Ais frowned a little, she then saw Loki starting to laugh too

"Haha! My bad! My bad! But you gotta admit, it's a little funny." Loki smiled, making Ais frown at her "Aww, don't make em scary eyes, they ruin ya cute face~!"

Almost the entire Familia starts laughing, making Bell look at the table and hide his face in his arms

"B-Bell…" Syr tries to talk to him but he doesn't seem to listen

"They sure are loud." Archer D said with venom, gripping her cup of ale really strong

"Yeah. It gets annoying." Saber shot them a glare. He can accept himself being insulted, he knows his abilities in combat aren't great, but one thing he will never accept is that his crew gets insulted. And that now included his Master

"I mean, seriously, that boy has to be the most pathetic thing I've ever seen!" The werewolf then continued, taking another sip of his ale "If you're gonna be an adventurer don't just stand around crying like a little bitch! People like him give us a bad name!"

Bell began to shake, with Saber's glare getting fiercer. He shouldn't give them attention, it could cause a big problem for the Familia and he just became a member, but such disrespect from something they caused couldn't be accepted so easily

"That's enough, Bete!" The elf woman yelled "It was our own mistake that caused the escape of the Minotaurs! They had nothing to do with it! And stop drinking, have some respect!"

"Oh, you elves and your pride! Saying it's our fault it's a lie! The kid is trash! What's wrong with calling trash trash!?" Bete yelled

"Okay okay, Riveria, Bete, relax! You're ruining the atmosphere." Loki ordered the two

Saber got up, grabbing his cup of ale and walking away from his group, approaching the other table slowly

"I won't tell you did it." Archer D said, which made Saber nod

"And you Ais, ya think that kid deserves to stand in the same place as us as adventurers?" Bete asked the sword princess

"I don't blame him for acting the way he did." Ais answered simply

"Okay, I'll change the question, miss goodie two-shoes. Me or him, which one would you choose to breed with?" Bete pointed at her

"Bete, are you drunk?" the pallum asked with a sigh

"Shut it! Tell me, Ais, would you rather have a real man or a little shitty newbie!?"

"I don't have a reason to answer that question." Ais said firmly "Especially coming from you."

"You're absurd…" Riveria shook her head

"Quiet, hag!" Bete growled at the elf and turned back to Ais "You know very well if that kid came to you and asked you out the words that would come out of your mouth would be a loud rejection!"

But before he could continue whatever he was doing a cup of ale fell right on top of his head, the ale in the cup making his face and hair wet

"Pfff!" One of the Amazoness stifled her laughter

"Oh my, I'm so sorry! I'm so clumsy!" Saber said, approaching the werewolf and grabbing the cup out of his head

"Oi, what gives!?" Bete turned around, pissed off at having ale dropped on him before noticing who it was "Wait, you're one of the Tomato Boys!"

"Nice to meet you, the name is Saber-"

"I don't care! You wanna get beat up!? Think you can just drop that on me and get away easily!?" Bete growled, getting up and walking up to Saber, who raised his hands defensively "Where's the other one? Is it past his bedtime?"

"Bete, sit back down, you're drunk!" The pallum told him

"Yeah, Bete, it was an accident." The other Amazoness mentioned

"Shut up! I ain't letting the grown man who calls that shitty brat master disrespect me like that!" Bete yelled

Bell quickly got up and run off the pub during the confrontation between the two, making Archer D widen her eyes before clicking her tongue

"Bell!" Syr yelled

"Hm?" Ais noticed something quickly moving away

Saber glanced at where Bell went, frowning, before he took a step back as he noticed how close the silver haired man was

"You sure enjoy barking. Is it because of your wolf part?" Saber asked, making Bete growl

"You wanna go, bastard!?"

"I wouldn't dare disrespect this establishment because of a member of such a big Familia… Who can't even accomplish a simple task of beating a measly Minotaur and needs to have the other members finish the job for him." Saber smugly said

"Alright, you asked for this!" Bete yelled

"Bete, don't!" Riveria yelled

Bete charged at Saber, who widened his eyes, thinking that maybe this wasn't the best idea, however, before things escalated any further, Archer D put herself between the two, holding Bete's face to keep him away from Saber

"Okay, you two can cut it out." Archer D said, looking at the two amazoness who put their arms forward "You go back to your people."

Bete was then pushed back, tumbling I'm himself and falling right on the arms of the two amazoness, turning to Saber right after

"And don't antagonize random people at the pub, Saber. If we started a fight, Mia would have been the one to kill you." Archer D said, secretly giving him a thumbs up for his actions and glancing at Mia, who thanked her for stopping this stupidity

"Ah yes, of course. I deeply apologize for my actions. These apologies extend to you as well, Loki Familia." Saber exclaimed while putting a hand on his chest

"It's fine. Bete can be a little much at times." The pallum mentioned, while the two amazoness held the angry Bete in place "I apologize for him."

While Saber was having a small talk with the Loki Familia, Archer D turned to the exit and began to move towards it

"We'll meet at home. I'll go deal with something." Archer D warned Saber, who glanced at her as she left

Archer D looked around the street as she left the Hostess of Fertility, seeing Loki groping Ais out of the corner of her eye, deciding not to acknowledge that and run after Bell, who she had an idea where he could be. She was somewhat familiar with his type, the dreamer.

"OOOOH! Shy and cool! Truly my type!" Archer D heard Loki yelling, looking back confused for a moment before continuing to run

After getting far enough from prying eyes, Archer D started to float, turning into her spirit form and flying towards the dungeon, seeing that it was open

"Damnit, rabbit…"

Dungeon, Floor 5.

Archer D had went back to her normal form after entering the dungeon once again, running through the cavernous corridors of the dungeon, quickly going down the levels of the dungeon as quickly as she could

"This is already the fifth floor. Where is he!?" Archer D growled

She had dodged various monsters and just straight up killed others by kicking them away from her, and even searching through the fifth floor she couldn't find that idiot! Where could he even be!?

"GRAAGH!" A goblin jumped towards the servant, who hit it over the head with a spin kick, snapping it's neck and making it fly away from her

She grit her teeth, trying to find any clue as to where Bell could be. Her Master would go crazy if this kid dies, but other than that, she doesn't want to see someone die if she can help it, especially not someone like him, she's not sure why, but it's a feeling she has that she simply can't ignore

She quickly stopped on her tracks, finding a way into a lower floor in the dungeon, and in the stairs there were some ripped off chunks of clothing… The same one Bell was wearing

"Damnit!" the goddess cursed, running as fast as she could down to the next floor

Dungeon, Floor 6

Bell was slashed right in the chest by a massive black ghostly creature, a Wall Shadow, one of the most dangerous creatures in the upper floors, but he quickly countered, hitting a hard punch on him, hitting right in the white mask like face of the creature

"GRAAAAAAH!" Bell screamed, crushing the monster against the wall of the dungeon, killing it and making it turn into black ashes

Bell panted, his body filled with injuries, one of his daggers broken and the other one on the floor, blood falling from his body

"I-I can still…" Bell began before another Wall Shadow stabbed it's claws through his shoulder, making him scream

Bell has been fighting various of these monsters for a long time considering the amount of magic stones on the floor, but he was quickly getting tired, and the last Wall Shadow managed to catch him

"G-Ghg!" Bell kicked the monster in the face, making it real back and throw Bell away, making him skid through the floor

The monster made a weird noise and glared at Bell, quickly dashing at him to finish him off, aiming at his head

"I am weak… That man was right… I'm pathetic, and because of that… I'm going to die…" Bell thought as the creature looked like it was moving in slow motion "I'm sorry Goddess… You were the only one who accepted me… and in the end I betrayed your trust by dying like this… I'm so sorry… I… just wanted to be a hero… to prove myself… to not have to be saved… like the heroes in the stories…"

The Wall Shadow was almost hitting Bell, but at the last second, a second person hit it in the face with a two legged dropkick, sending it flying back with a yell of pain, making Bell widen his eyes

"I finally found you!" It was Archer D, Ishtar! Looking very upset

Bell's look got softer before he then glanced down, disappointed in himself for failing like this

Archer D glanced at him, wondering what to say right now, but the Wall Shadow tried to take advantage of her distraction, but the servant quickly reacted, parrying the attack away with her hand and jumping, spinning in the air and kicking the creature away

The monster screamed in pain before Archer D flew towards him, going behind it and slamming her leg at the back of its head, decapitating it and breaking the things mask-like face with that hit, making it turn to dust and drop the magic crystal. She then slowly went back to the ground, spinning in the ground before stopping right beside Bell

"M-Miss D…" Bell looked up at her

Archer D looked down at him, sighing before she crouched down to have a better look at him

"You're an idiot." She grabbed Bell's bag on his hip, grabbing a potion from it and force fed it to Bell, which managed to heal most of his injuries "What made you think that running off to the sixth floor on your own at night was a good idea!?"

"I-I'm sorry…" Bell apologized looking down, now having enough energy to sit

"You want to be a hero right!? How is doing this going to accomplish it!?" Archer D yelled at him, trying to get some sense on this kid's head

"I'm sorry, miss D… But…" Bell looked down, his hair covering his eyes "I just wanted to get stronger…"

Archer D's eyes soften a little, making her sigh and rub her forehead, shaking her head like she had dealt with this type of person before

"What that guy said in the pub really got to you, didn't it?" The servant asked, to which Bell didn't respond, he simply looked away "Look, I understand that you want to prove yourself, you want to be a hero after all and this determination is something that they have."

Bell looked back at her, raising his head slightly

"But, it's also what causes them to meet the most tragic ends. And yours can't be this soon." Archer D said, flicking his forehead, making Bell wince slightly "You want to get stronger and be a great hero, right? One people can look up to and one that even Ais can rely on."

Bell looked at Ishtar, who now stood up straight, a hand on her hips as she looked down at him, and nodded. He didn't know why, but she looked different now… It couldn't be her divinity, it was completely repressed…

"Then don't go trying to get yourself killed." The divine servant said, grabbing him by the arm and lifting him up, making him look at her face to face "You won't be able to be a hero if you did. And also… There's people around that would be sad if you were to die, so as a good hero, live so they can be happy."

Not even Ishtar herself knew why she was saying this, it was that feeling again, and for some reason it felt like something she should say to him. She… didn't want to see people like him dying.

Bell looked at Ishtar in a way he never did before, he only met her yesterday, but from the way she acted she felt like a goddess that didn't really care about anything other than things that entertain her, it was what most gods were like honestly, but now… she felt more like a normal girl. A normal girl worried that her friend could end up dying.

"Okay…" Bell nodded, giving Ishtar a little smile "I'll live. I promise."

"Good." Ishtar smirked slightly. Before grabbing him and throwing him on her back, starting to float "And don't do this again, what is it that your half elf friend says? Adventurers shouldn't go adventuring? Think about that."

Bell let out a small chuckled, blushing thanks to being carried like this by the goddess, who began to fly out of the empty and quiet dungeon

"Understood, Goddess."

"Actually, you can call me…" Ishtar thought for a moment "Tohsaka."

"Tohsaka? Why?" Bell asked

"No reason in particular. I think it's just fitting." Ishtar shrugged

"Well… Okay." Bell nodded, gods do have some weird preferences after all "Thank you for coming to help me, Tohsaka."

Ishtar unconsciously smiled after hearing that, her body reacting to being called that, her heart feeling warmer like it hasn't heard that in a long time

"No problem, Bell." Ishtar actually called him by his name, making Bell widen his eyes "Now let's go get you back to your Goddess, she must be worried about you."

"R-Right! I need to apologize to her!" Bell realized, nodding rapidly "And also, I need to talk with Saber. I want him to train me…"

"..." Ishtar made a complicated expression "Maybe you should wait for another Servant to join your faction before you think of having one of them train you."

Bell got confused as to why she would say that, but Ishtar knew that Jason didn't exactly have much to teach in the path of becoming stronger…

And so a second chapter is made! I did this one quicker because I wanted to let out the more basic information about the Grail War that's gonna happen and the reason why Ishtar was able to be summoned, I apologize for so much exposition this chapter but since I didn't want it to just be a exposition fest I tried also using it to develop Jason and Ishtar's dynamic along with their dynamic with Bell, especially Ishtar's with Bell since he kinda reminds me of a little baby Shirou so I wanted to reflect that on the Rin part of Ishtar taking a liking to him because of that and making Ishtar a little extra soft on him.

And so this is a Great Grail War, we are in Danmachi Appocrypha or however you write it, which characters do you think would be part of each faction? I have some in mind but not everyone already set. And also, some other Divine Servants so Ishtar can have a little friend group to herself. The Argonauts are going to appear no matter what Servants are chosen thanks to Jason's Noble Phantasm, so for those wanting to see Herc carrying Bell on his shoulder like he is a boy Illiya, you will get that.

I do apologize if the formating and pacing is garbage, I'm not what I'd consider a good writer and its my first time writing for htese two series that have a lot of lore packed in so its hard to balance stuff, and I kinda do this all myself and English is not my first language, so that makes it even harder.

Omake: Ishtar's Divine Tips for Love

Ishtar: alright, rabbit. I heard that you went to the dungeon to pick up girls.

Bell: is that so wrong...?

Back at the Hestia Familia's base, also known as the rundown Church, the titular goddess and one of her new Familia members, named Saber, were alone, with the goddess being very nervous, passing around the living room while looking down

"Goddess, try and stay calm." Saber tried to help the goddess of the heart

"How am I supposed to be calm!?" To very little success "My Bell has been out the whole day and still hasn't come back! What if something bad happened to him!?"

"That is a very fair point! However, Archer D is with him, I'm sure everything will be fine!" Saber tried once again

"AND THAT MAKES IT WORSE!" Somehow failing again "What if she tries to seduce my Bell!? Goddesses of Love aren't trustworthy!"

"Stop saying things I agree with, I'm trying to help!" Saber was out of options

Hestia put her hands on her head, pacing around the room faster and faster, her twintails starting to wiggle as if they were alive

"Look, if I go look for him again, will that calm you down?" Saber asked

"Please…" Hestia looked at him with pleading eyes

"Geez, so needy." Saber sighed

The captain then walked to the door, opening it to go and search for Bell, only for him to have something slam into his face, sending him flying back

"GWAAA!"

Saber fell down, with what hit him falling right on top of him, the goddess of the heart quickly ran to him to see what happened, widening her eyes as she saw who was there

"I almost managed to slow down that time!" It was Archer D with Bell on her back, having slammed into Saber butt first and now using him as a seat

"Be more careful, miss Tohsaka, you could have hurt yourself." Bell said with a sweatdrop

"I am not hearing that from you." Archer D huffed and got up from Saber, not even noticing him

"Who's Tohsaka!?" Saber asked as he got up

"Bell!" Hestia yelled

Archer D put the boy back down, before being head-butted by the tiny goddess, being pushed back as Hestia now went to check on Bell

"The hell!?"

"What happened to you!? Were you mugged!?" Hestia asked while checking on his injuries seeing how completely destroyed he was, having his body with various slashes and gashes along with holes in his shoulder

"N-No…" Bell looked down

"Then what happened?" Saber asked, approaching his master

"I… I went into the dungeon…" Bell confessed

Both Hestia and Saber stood there in shock, as if their brains were loading an answer to what was just said

"What!?" Hestia yelled "At night!? Are you insane!?"

"I'm sorry…" Bell was ashamed of that

"Why would you even do that? You aren't a thrill seeker, so what gave you that idea?" Hestia asked, making Bell look down once more

Saber realized what was the reason and looked at Archer D, who was rubbing her stomach after that headbutt and nodded, with Hestia's look softening as her will to scold him disappeared

"Okay, I won't ask about it anymore. I know how stubborn you are." Hestia said, standing on the tips of her toes to be able to have him lean on her and she could help him

"Sorry…"

"It's okay, come, I'll give you a shower, you are completely bloodied and dirty. And then after that you are resting." Hestia said as she carried Bell to the bathroom

"Thank you…"

That left only Saber and Archer D, with the two looking at each other and with the captain sighing

"Thank you for helping him, Ishtar. I had to smooth things up with the Loki Familia and calm down Hestia, so I couldn't stand by his side." Jason looked down and crossing his arms

"If you want to thank me, give me three daily prayers. I did it on a whim anyway, not out of the goodness of my heart." Ishtar shrugged, walking to the couch to lay down

"Yeah, I'm not doing that." Jason told her as he watched her walk away "...Also, why is he calling you Tohsaka?"

"Can't hear you!" Ishtar yelled as she jumped and floated down to the couch with her arms behind her head

"..." Jason sighed, rubbing his head and going to the room "I didn't think I'd have to do this so soon, but I need to also help him somehow. He is my master after all."

Rundown Church, Night

After Bell's bath, Hestia took her Bell to his room, laying him on the bed on his back to update his status after a whole day out

"Just relax, okay? You've been through a lot." Hestia said as she made a little hole on her finger

"Goddess!" Bell exclaimed, making Hestia yelp surprised

"Y-yeah?"

"I want to get stronger…" Bell said, remembering the words Tohsaka said to him…

"There's people around that would be sad if you were to die, so as a good hero, live so they can be happy."

"I want to be stronger so you can be happy!" Bell stated with determination, making the goddess widen her eyes

She was stunned for a moment, before smiling and having a blush appear on her cheeks, yeah, this was her Bell

"I understand…" she nodded and began the update to his Falna

Hestia widened her eyes as she saw the stats on Bell, he has grown so much, to an abnormal amount… This skill, it was a rare one, and if other people were to find out he would for sure be sought after by other Familias…

"Goddess?" Bell was worried about her silence

"...Bell, would you mind if I only told you your stats today instead of showing you?" Hestia asked

"Um… Sure, that's fine." Bell said, not sure why she was asking it

Hestia told Bell about his stats, leaving out the news about his rare skill, she couldn't reveal it to him, he was too naive and wouldn't be able to keep it a secret, and the gods being gods would for sure cause problems because of that…

"Excuse me, goddess. Can I enter to try and help Bell with his injuries?" Saber asked while knocking on the door

"Oh!" Hestia yelped, hopping off Bell's back "Sure sure! Come on in! It's be for the best if you were to hear this too since you are tied to my Bell!"

Hestia said and so Saber came in, looking around and closing the door right behind him

"What exactly do I need to hear?" Saber asked

Hestia thought for a moment, trying to find the right words to explain this

"Alright, so, in a basic sense, Bell, you are growing at an abnormal rate. Your stats have increased drastically in very little time." Hestia began

"Well, I did go to the sixth floor of the dungeon…" Bell mumbled

"With no armor!? Are you-" Hestia began to yell before breathing in "We already went over this, don't worry. But the point is, your potential seems to be flaring up as of now, we can call this a Growth Spurt of some kind."

"Do you know how long this will last? For an adventurer, something like this should be capitalized on." Saber mentioned

"How do you sound so dependable sometimes?" Hestia was baffled but shook her head "Well, I don't know, it's hard to quantify this, but the point is, Bell, you are going to get stronger."

"Yes." Bell nodded

"But, I don't want you to try too hard, okay? You cannot repeat this incident again, understood?" Hestia asked

"I…" Bell was unsure

"I know you want to get stronger, and I think that's great, but you have to also know your limits… Promise that you won't leave me alone, okay?" Hestia said with a pleading look

"...I promise." Bell nodded, making the goddess smile

"Thank you, now I can relax." Hestia put a hand on her chest, relieved

Saber looked at Bell, sighing as he put a hand on his forehead, this kid was going to be a handful because that type of promise is something he won't be able to keep unless he is kept on a leash

"Now, Saber, you said you wanted to help heal Bell?" Hestia looked at the servant

"Yes. You have read my Falna and saw my magic, correct?" Saber asked

"Yes, the one about summoning members of your crew." The goddess nodded

"Well, I'm going to use it. It will drain some of Bell's magic but considering he doesn't really have any spells that allow him to use mana, it won't do much to his reserves." Saber explained

"I see… Well, sure, and it might be good seeing who else we will be working with." Hestia said, crossing her arms as she wondered who was in this crew of mighty heroes she was told about

"I will meet his crew…" Bell looked as excited as he could while all beat up, he was going to meet more heroes!

"Alright, now, here it goes! Please come help heal my poor master! Come to me, Argonauts! Astrapste Argo!" Saber lifted his hand as he did the chant

A magic circle suddenly formed around Saber's feet, a light being formed as the will of the heroes of the past was channeled through him, and soon a figure was formed, the circle shrinking and finishing the summoning, and who appeared was…

"I'm here, Lord Jason!" A small girl with long lavender blue hair tied in a ponytail and wearing a cute fairy like lavender purple clothing, on her hand was a magical staff with the top being two very round circumferences, her ears were sharper than normal human ears but rounder than elf ears, they were similar to Eina's ears actually

Hestia blinked as her brain processed what she just saw. So the first crew member she sees from this crew of supposedly great adventurers that could be considered amazing heroes… Is a tiny cute half elf girl?

"...eh?" Hestia was very confused, she was probably a mage given the staff, but considering how Saber was from ancient times that girl most likely had congenital magic, which wasn't very good at modern times

"A half elf? And a mage! She must be an amazing spell caster to be a part of the crew!" Bell was excited, he has heard that elf's have a greater affinity for magic but to meet a legendary elf spell caster in person was amazing! What kind of hero was she? Also, she looks so cute!

"Eh?" The caster looked confused, turning to Saber for guidance, before he pointed at her ears making her realize why they thought she was a half elf, Saber then signaled for her to just roll with it "Ah, yes! It's a pleasure to meet you all! My name is Medea, who here is Lord Jason's master?"

Bell weakly raised his arm

"I see! I'll come heal you right away!" The now named Medea walked up to Bell, raising her staff, before Hestia got in front of her

"Hey hey hey! Some explaining would be nice before doing anything!" Hestia exclaimed

"Sorry miss." Medea did a little bow

"It's fine, she's a mage of my crew, her name is Medea. She was a princess from a kingdom which I visited and who ended up joining my crew on our journey." Saber explained, making Hestia and Bell widen their eyes

"And I'm also Lord Jason's wife! Once again, it's a pleasure!" Medea smiled at the two, making Jason grimace and look away

"Wife!?" The two yelled in shock, Saber was married to a half elf princess!? Was this guy actually legit!?

"Yes, it's quite the story, I'll tell you later." Medea waved her hand "But, will you two tell me your names as well?"

"A-ah, Bell Cranel." Bell presented himself

"Hestia." The goddess did as well, they were both still baffled by that revelation

"The goddess of the heart!? I apologize for my informality!" Medea did another bow

"If this was the other one…" Jason imagined how the older Medea would react to the gods being around here

"I-Its okay!" Hestia recovered from her shock, raising her arms "But, can you really heal my Bell?"

"Of course! I might not be very good at offensive magic, but healing magic is my specialty!" Medea nodded, raising her staff

"It is true, if the boy is still alive Medea will be able to heal him back to full." Saber nodded

Hestia hesitated a little, it was her Bell they were talking about and magic without a Falna wasn't the best… But when she looked back at the girl, such purity and innocence made her not be able to hold her stance for long

"Alright, do what you have to do, Medea." Hestia stepped aside

"Thank you very much, miss Hestia." Medea walked up to Bell and sat on a little chair that was beside the bed, the one Hestia normally sits on to give him pep talks "I'll do my best, mister Bell."

"I'm in your care, miss Medea." Bell nodded

Medea then raised her staff, some pink particles falling down onto Bell, making his wounds start to close and returning his body to normal

"Without a chant!?" Hestia widened her eyes, normally spells without a Falna take at a bare minimum a twelve line chant to be done, as she has done it so casually, and without any apparent drawbacks!? How proficient with magic is this girl?

"I'm not at full strength thanks to you not having enough mana to power me much, so it will take a while. I hope that's not a problem." Medea said

"N-No, it's fine! This is already amazing!" Bell said, feeling his vitality returning "Thank you very much, both of you!"

"No problem, anything for Lord Jason's master!" Medea nodded

"You are a member of my crew, taking good care of you is nothing more than common sense." Saber said, turning around to leave the room "I also have other business that I need to attend so I can help you some more, so I'll be gone for a while. Medea will continue helping while I'm gone."

"W-wait, Saber, where are you-" Hestia tried to say but he was already gone, making her sigh

Bell looked at the door after Saber left, Archer D kept saying how he was unreliable but with how much he was helping him he seemed like a very good captain…

Later

Hestia was sleeping, laying in bed with Bell, snuggling up with him as Medea continued healing, Saber had not yet returned and Archer D continued to laze on the couch, so currently the two people that were awake were Medea and Bell

"You should be fine by the morning." Medea told the young adventurer "You can sleep and when you wake up you will be as good as new."

"I know that, but… I want to talk to you." Bell said shocking the caster for a moment

"Oh, really?" She didn't expect that "And what do you want to talk about?"

"How were the travels with Saber? While you were in the crew?" Bell asked

Medea pondered for a little moment, looking up as she dug into her memories, a little smile appearing on her face

"It was fun, honestly. I really liked my time with them, I think of them as great friends of mine, and even Lord Jason showed that he can be a great captain when the time comes." Medea explained, making Bell's eyes shine slightly "We even faced various monsters like fire breathing bulls! Well, actually it was mostly Heracles, but we helped out."

"Wow, that sounds awesome!" Bell sounded excited hearing the tale of such heroes "But, you're a half elf princess, how did you get involved in such a crew? Not that I don't think you're capable, it's just that…"

"No, I understand, I am quite young and people don't usually imagine me when someone mentions heroes." Medea giggled a little "And well…"

Medea then looked down, remembering the cause and also what would end up being the greatest problem of her life in the future. It's a hard feeling to describe, it isn't hatred, she did love Jason, but she also isn't exactly glad for what it did to her… She really can't describe this.

"The goddess of love, Aphrodite, blessed me." Medea decided to explain a little bit of it

"Really?" Bell exclaimed surprised

"Yes. It caused me to join the Argonauts and… Well, I don't really want to share the rest of the story right now." Medea thought that sharing all of that this early would cause more trouble than it's worth, maybe when he is more mature she can talk about it with him "But I can tell you something that I'm sure Lord Jason learned. The heart is something very frail and dangerous, especially the one of a woman. My story is already over, so is of all heroic spirits, however, yours is just beginning, so I'll give you a tip. Don't break your promises. Bad things happen when you do."

Bell looked at Medea, he couldn't tell what the expression she was making meant, but he did accept the wisdom from her, with Hestia hugging him a little tighter in her sleep, making Medea giggle while the newby adventurer blushed

Morning

It was a new day, with Medea having finished her job, however, she was still around, it seems the amount of mana was able to keep her around for some time longer. Bell woke up before Hestia, feeling his arm and seeing how he was completely healed

"Wow, I'm back to one hundred percent…" Bell widened his eyes, moving his arms in circles as he sat up "Miss Medea, you are amazing!"

"Hehe, I just try my best." Medea blushed a little, she liked being complimented. She was sure Lord Jason was going to compliment her as well, she can't wait!

"Hmm…" Hestia mumbled in her sleep, making the two lower their volume

"Oh, sorry goddess." Bell whispered, getting ready to get out of bed, before Medea stopped him "huh?"

"Don't yet. She must have been really worried yesterday to cling to you so much, so I think you should at least wait for her to wake up before going. It would make her feel better." Medea suggested making Bell nod in understanding

He does agree that he worried her too much yesterday so reassuring her that he was okay was probably the least he could do for her, and so he played back down, making the goddess hug him once again. He could see that she looked a lot happier in her sleep now.

8 A.M, Living Room

Ishtar was still sleeping, snoring as she laid on the couch, Bell and Medea were helping Hestia walk around as she was still sleepy after waking up not much earlier

"Come on goddess, mister Saber is going to be back right about now." Bell said, making Hestia mumble

"Can I at least get some morning cuddles…"

"Eh?" Bell was confused by that question

"What a needy goddess." Medea giggled to herself

As they helped Hestia get ready for the morning, Saber made his return, coming down the stairs

"I did it!" Saber announced

That snapped Hestia out of her sleepiness, and even made Ishtar fall off the couch

"Oof!" Archer D grunted as that woke her up

"Welcome back Lord Jason!" Medea waved at him

"Oh, hello Medea. It seems my Noble Phantasm is still in effect." Saber was surprised by that

"Welcome back mister Saber. What did you do exactly?" Bell asked

"Yeah, what exactly you needed to do to be out for the whole night till morning?" Hestia asked

"Simple, making us rich!" Saber exclaimed, throwing a bag of Valis onto the table, making the other four widen their eyes

"YOU DID WHAT!?" Archer D yelled, getting up from the floor to see what was there

"And this one's for you, see it as my way of thanking you for helping my master." Saber then threw another bag at Ishtar, who grabbed it and opened it

"THERE'S SO MANY GEMS!" Archer D exclaimed, doing a twirl in the air out of happiness "You know what, Saber? You are alright in my book now! Hehe!"

Archer D flew away to count her gems

"S-so many valis!" Bell exclaimed

"H-how!?" Hestia asked

"Well, I went to the casinos in Orario. And since I have a high rank in luck, I managed to hit it big a lot of times!" Saber smirked

"So it is true what they say, ninety nine percent of gamblers do quit before they make it big." Medea said

"Exactly." Saber was really proud of himself

"This is amazing! This will help us out so much!" Hestia exclaimed, still in shock with how many valis they had gotten "Thank you so much, Saber!"

"No need to thank me, if I can't help out much in combat it's only normal that I help in a different way." Saber shrugged, but he clearly liked being thanked like that "I am just that amazing."

"So this is how helpful luck can be…" Bell mumbled to himself

"It's one of the best weapons an adventurer can have. There are situations where luck is your best ally, even better than your strength or speed." Saber crossed his arms, walking up besides his master

"It's how we managed to survive so many points of our adventure!" Medea added

"With this…" Hestia began to think quickly

With this much money she could for sure do something to help Bell, that way Hephaistos could for sure accept a request! She had to find her… And she knew exactly where to do so!

"Ganesha's Celebration of the Gods!" Hestia snapped her fingers, letting that last part come out

"Is that a party for the gods?" Medea asked

"Eh?" Hestia realized she let that slip "Y-yeah, Ganesha throws it sometimes but I never really go…"

Archer D then came back flying like a rocket, appearing above the four

"But this time you will go!"

"Eh!?"

"I-I mean, I was planning on it this time-" Hestia looked away

"I see! But with Bell's injuries you thought you wouldn't be able to, and the stress also most likely made you forget." Saber nodded, making Hestia blush at the misunderstanding

"I'm sorry for causing you so much trouble, goddess." Bell looked down

"I-its fine!"

"Alright, I refuse to let my master look anything less than absolutely stunning for this party! We will make the gods gawk in amazement! Make them think she's a goddess of love like myself!" Arched D began to get really into it

"Huh?" Hestia widened her eyes in shock

"She is also a part of my crew currently, I cannot let her be made fun of by the others. On my honor as the captain!" Saber nodded, agreeing with Ishtar

"Guys-" Bell try to say something

"Come on mister Bell, you have to help too! You wouldn't like your goddess being belittled, would you?" Medea asked

"Of course not! If it will help make her more respected, I'll do my best as well!" Bell nodded determined

Hestia was being a little intimidated by how intense they had become about this, she shouldn't have told them about this, but she couldn't lie that it felt good seeing them worry so much… even if only two of them were her children, it made her feel like her Familia had finally expanded

"Master, when is the party?" Archer D asked

"Oh! It's tonight-" Hestia answered

"So we must work quick. Alright, we will do it like this, Saber, you will look for golden chains, Bell and Medea, you two look for black fabric, I will find sewing materials. We will meet back here in a few hours, where we will sew the perfect dress for her. Understood?" Archer D said like the leader of a military operation

"Yes ma'am!" And the three went along with it

"Alright, operation Beautiful Goddess (but not as beautiful as me) is a go!" Archer D clapped her hands and flew out of the church, with Saber, Medea and Bell following right after

"Wait! You don't need to…" Hestia yelled but it was too late, they were already gone

The goddess sighed, but she did have a smile on her face

"So this is what's like to have so many children…" she kinda liked it

Streets of Orario, Day

Bell and Medea were running through the streets, trying to find a store that sold black fabric, it was a completely dire situation, they needed to make their goddess look good!

But suddenly Bell stops, remembering something

"Hm?" Medea then stops right after, moving back to be closer to the newby adventurer "Is there an issue mister Bell?"

"Oh! No it's nothing, I just… I need a moment please." Bell said as he walked up to what looked like a bar

Medea looked up and saw a sign that read Hostess of Fertility, seeing Bell knock on the door, and what comes out is an elf girl with green hair and a cat girl with brown hair wearing the typical maid uniform for the bar

"I am sorry, but we aren't open yet." the elf said

"Nyaow, the bar isn't open!" The cat girl said

Bell blushed when the elf girl talked, making Medea look at him with a raised eyebrow

"...do you have a thing for elves?" Medea asked

"EH!?" Bell turned to her in a shock "Don't just say stuff like that out of nowhere!"

"Oh, sorry." Medea smiled innocently, already getting her answer

"A-anyway…" he turned back to the two "Is Syr Flover here? And also the owner. I want to-"

"Wait, you're the dine-and-dasher from yesterday, nya! The one that left Syr nyat the table with his two friends nya! That white haired kid that made Syr cry, nya nya!" The cat girl began to obliterate Bell with words

"Quiet." The elf then poked the cat girl in the forehead

"Bunyaa!"

"I apologize for her. I will get Syr and Mama Mia." The elf did a small bow and walked inside, the cat girl being pulled along by the collar

"T-thank you."

Bell blushed, especially with Medea looking at him disapprovingly

"You dine-and-dashed?"

"It's a long story…" it really wasn't

After a little while Syr's voice could be heard inside the establishment, her small panting and footsteps on the wood getting louder as she approached, she opened the door and saw the two there

"Bell! And…" Syr saw that Bell was with another woman at the moment

"Hello, I'm a new member of his Familia. I'm a witch." Medea waved

"Syr!" Bell exclaimed, getting the woman's attention once again, his embarrassment clear as he then bowed to her "I'm so sorry for yesterday!"

"No no, it's okay, you came back after all." Syr raised her hands to try and calm him down, even giggling a little at how he was reacting

Bell looks up at her, blushing a little at how she acted, Medea looked between the two, a smile starting to creep in her face, oh she knew what was going on between these two. Bell then pulled out some of the gold he still had from his previous days at the dungeon and gave it to Syr

"Here, it should cover what we got. If it's not enough I can get more-" Bell began but Syr interrupted him

"I would never say it's not enough! You coming back is enough for me." Syr smiled at him, making Bell rub the back of his head. The silver haired woman then pulled out a basket filled with food and gave it to Bell "Here, I suppose you two are going to go to the dungeon soon, so you should take this with you."

"Eh?" The two adventurers reacted this time

"The chef cooked some rations today so they are quite fresh. I did eat some of it though…" Syr blushed a little

"That's okay, but why give it to me?"

"Would you believe me if I said it's because I wanted to?" Syr smiled once again, making Bell feel a little warm inside, making him accept the gift

Medea had to cover her mouth so the others wouldn't see her grin, this was so cute! She could only imagine it as her and Lord Jason!

"The boys 'ere, eh?" A louder voice came from behind Syr, who jolted and went back inside

Bell widened his eyes in fear while Medea looked more confused as to what was happening, only to see the dwarf lady that owned the establishment come out

"Oh, that's a bulky lady…" Medea mumbled, she was about the length of two Bell's!

"Ya came back to pay the money, did ya? Ain't ya a nice boy!" Mama Mia said, crossing her arms "And with another frien' it seems!"

"I'm a witch." Medea smiled

"N-No problem…?" Bell was now confused and intimidated

"Syr, take a break, you've been in 'n out the whole day." Mama Mia said, making Syr nod from inside the building

The girl then walked off, leaving Bell, Medea and Mama Mia alone, which only made Bell more nervous

"If ya hadn't come back I would have released the hounds on ya." Mama Mia told Bell, making him sweat

"Ah."

"Had it been a day later, I would have liked to hear ya squeal as I made ya my prey." And she kept going

"They'd have to come up with another word to describe how dead you would have been, mister Bell." Medea said, making Bell gape at her

"That's right. What word would you suggest, lil witch?" The dwarf lady asked

"Hmm… Cadaverific!" Medea smiled, making Mama Mia laugh and pat her head

"Hah! Ain't ya a lil riot!" The dwarf lady seemed to like Medea

Bell wasn't sure how to feel about the two bonding over his potential death!

"Is it okay to give him your lunch, Syr?"

"Oh, yes, it's fine, I wouldn't have eaten it anyways!"

"Nyeah, they are just like that! Syr and her boy-"

"It's not like that!"

And it seems that the conversations inside were just as lively

"You should be thanking Syr, y'know? If it wasn't for her the elf girl, Ryuu, would have run after you with a sword and boy not even I would have been able to stop her then! Especially with how you made Syr cry after she couldn't find ya when ya ran away!" Mama Mia chuckled making Bell turn as white as a sheet

Before he realized what that meant

"Syr went out looking for me…?" Bell thought

"Boy." Mama Mia looked at him "An adventurer doesn't just look the part, at first you need to survive. Once you are more experienced, the worst rarely happens."

Bell widened his eyes at what the dwarf lady said, of course she heard what that werewolf guy said, she was there, but at least she was trying to help out…

"Hey, quit looking weird at me kid! Now get out, and make sure to come back later, I'll be sure to serve you and ya friends some ale!" Mama Mia smiled, signaling for the two to run off

"O-Oh, right! I'll be sure to come back, Mama Mia!" Bell ran off, with Medea following suit

"It was nice knowing you!" Medea waved "Oh! Wait, do you know of any places that sell good fabric!?"

"Oh, there's a store near the entrance of the shopping district fer that! Syr says they have amazing quality!" Mama Mia yelled

"Thank you!" Medea then ran off with Bell

Mama Mia shook her head and smiled, before going back in and closing the door. She had to get the place ready for the costumers.

The Church, Afternoon

The group finally managed to return, running down and putting the products on the table. Hestia was out at work, so they had time for this!

"Everything here?" Archer D asked

"Yes!" The three nodded

"Then, let's get to work! Hestia Familia, go!" Archer D commanded, her eyes glowing golden for a moment, and so they began to work

Bell and Medea grabbed the black fabric while Archer D grabbed the sewing material, grabbing a needle and some thread, having already taken Hestia's measurements in her mind due to some poorly explained goddess of love ability

"That's not a thing, D."

"It's totally a thing, shut up Goldy Locks!"

That distraction caused Archer D to poke her finger with a needle, she shook her hand and glared at Saber, who raised his arms defensively

Bell and Medea grabbed scissors, cutting the fabric along the lines that they were asked for, in the back they heard Saber being kicked away into a wall, but they were too focused to pay full attention to that at the moment, D returned to work, grabbing the fabric they were cutting and going back to sewing

Saber managed to get himself off the wall after a few hours of being knocked out, with the dress being almost on model, he moved quickly, grabbing the golden chains he bought and attaching them to the dress quickly, finishing the look

"Perfect!" Archer D smirked

"It looks beautiful!" Medea clapped

"Expected nothing else from us." Saber huffed proudly

"She's is going to love it!" Bell smiled

It was already getting late, and it was at around this time that Hestia came back. And as they heard her returning, they made way for her to see the dress when she got there

"I'm home! But you're probably working so I won't-" Hestia said before seeing what was in front of her, a beautiful black dress with golden decorations made specifically for her "W-What!?"

"We did it!" Medea cheered

"We worked a lot goddess, but we made you the perfect dress!" Bell smiled "I hope you like it!"

"I chose the golden details, I hope you know that." Saber smirked

"Only the best for the master of the best." Arched D huffed, puffing her unimpressive chest forward

Hestia got close to the dress, putting a hand on it to have a feel for it, the fabric was soft, it was of great quality. And the chains shone like authentical gold. This must have costed a lot and probably sent Saber and Archer D's plan of getting a new place for the Familia really far back, and they did it for her…

"You guys made this by hand?" Hestia asked

The goddess saw their hands, Archer D had various bandages around her fingers from how much she poked herself with the needle, Bell looked tired after working non-stop on the dress for hours, Jason has pieces of wall hanging off him, she wasn't sure what that had to do with making the dress, and Medea was nearly disappearing after being around for so long and needing so much magic to stay around

"Well… We wanted it to be special. A dress just for you." Bell rubbed the back of his head

Hestia's eyes began to water as she ran at them, giving them all a big hug

"WAAAAAAH!"

"G-Goddess!" Bell blushed

"Wow!" Saber widened his eyes

"Okay, too much!" Archer D looked away

"Can't breathe!" Medea was being squished between everyone

"YOU ARE THE BEST CHILDREN A GODDESS LIKE ME COULD ASK FOR! I DON'T DESERVE YOU!" Hestia cried while hugging them

"D-Don't say that, goddess!" Bell blushed

"Geez, I only did it so you wouldn't look horrible and give me a bad reputation." Archer D pouted while looking away

Hestia continued to cry on the hug, enjoying finally having a big Familia with Bell like she wanted

Church, night

Medea had finally disappeared and Hestia had gone to the party, she also said she'd be gone for a few days so they shouldn't put themselves in so much trouble

Bell was sitting down, eating the food Syr gave him earlier, while Saber was resting beside him

"Did the girl from the bar give that to you?" Saber asked

"Hm? Oh yes! I went there to give them the money I didn't pay yesterday." Bell explained

"Huh. Aren't you a good kid?" Saber said, giving Bell a nice pat on the head

"Thanks, Saber." Bell blushed a little

Ishtar was laying down on the couch, groaning and stretching herself a little

"Uuuugh! I'm beat! This is the last time I do something like that." The goddess of love grumbled

"It seems you are starting to mellow out, Tohsaka." Bell smiled

"Whatever you say, bunny boy." Archer D ignored him

"It does seem to be true. I expected her to get a dress for herself and then beg Hestia to bring her along to the party so she could "steal the party", but it seems I misjudged her." Saber nodded, agreeing with Bell

That, however, made Archer D widen her eyes in realization, before jumping out of the couch

"DAMNIT! I FORGOT TO TELL MASTER TO BRING ME ALONG!" Archer D fell to her knees, punching the floor, cursing the gods, which also includes herself

Bell and Saber sighed, with Saber shaking his head, at the goddess messing up and now crying about it on the floor. At least she helps from time to time…

And so Bell meets the first member of the Argonauts, Medea Lily, I chose not to use normal Medea because I have some plans for her, and the reason I chose Lily as the first one is because I think she's cute, very cute. This chapter was more of some filler, I admit, but I think its good to have chapters that lets the group feel like a group with them working together to do cute stuff, next chapter another Argonaut will show up and he will help train Bell, I wonder who that will be...

And for those worrying, no, I won't make this a harem, that was just a joke with that fuckass polejump, I don't think I'm even able of making a harem. And also, I took heavy inspiration from a famous Fate x Danmachi fic to start this but I don't think it will be as good as that one, which I forgot the name, I'm bad with names, so for those wanting something like that, sorry!

Ganesha Familia Party Hall, Night

It was currently night time and various gods were entering a giant party hall, the front of it being a large statue of the god hosting this party, it being Ganesha of the Hindu Pantheon. Various gods were coming to participate today, mostly on a whim to have some light-hearted fun

"Hey look, it's one of the poor familia leaders! Hey, Takemikazuchi!"

"Oi, we're trying our best here!"

And some to just make fun of each other for a laugh, just the casual god stuff. And inside the ballroom, all of the gods were talking to each other and having a drink. Well, all except for one…

"Waiter! Waiter! Get me a stool this instant!"

"Y-yes ma'am."

It was Hestia who was stuffing her plate and face with tasty food, this behavior going completely against her current appearance, considering how Hestia is known for being the leader of one of the poorest familias, her coming to the party wearing a beautiful black and gold dress was a massive surprise, they could have sworn she'd come with her normal outfit

"Hey, is that the Loli Big Boobs?"

"Yeah, it's her, look at that dress, it's beautiful!"

"Who did she steal it from? Because there's no way she bought that."

"From what I heard, her Familia made it by hand!"

"Did they get rich over night!? How is that possible?"

Hestia was feeling rather smug today because of that, normally she'd be made fun of due to being poor, and she kinda still was, but now they could see that her children love her and work hard to help her! And to celebrate, she'd eat some more of this banquet!

"What are you doing?"

Hestia heard a voice to her side, turning while her mouth was stuffed with tasty treats, and who she saw was a beautiful red haired goddess, she was wearing a long dark red dress, one of her eyes was being covered by an eye patch but some black skin could be seen coming out of the borders, but her uncovered eye had a beautiful golden color to it. The goddess of the heat quickly swallowed her food and greeted the other goddess

"Hephaistos!" Hestia beamed

"Happy to see you too, Hestia. I'm glad you are well. And I'll say, you must have really gone all out today seeing the dress you have. I hope you didn't spend too much on it." The goddess of the forge smiled

"My children made it for me actually, they saved up and made it by hand. Beautiful, isn't it?" Hestia did a little twirl to show off to her old friend

"Yes, it's quite beautiful. And 'they'? So you managed to get more members even? I'm impressed. The little goddess that used to live in my basement is moving up in the world." Hephaistos let out a small laugh

"That's right! Soon, everyone will know my Familia!" Hestia puffed her large chest while putting her hands on her hips, very smug about herself, before realizing something "Oh right! Hephaistos, I need to ask you for something!"

"I already said I'm not lending you money anymore." Hephaistos deadpanned, taking a sip of the drink in her hands

"Rude!" Hestia stomped her foot "That's not what I was going to ask at all!"

"Really?"

"Yes! I may have done it in the past but I've become a better goddess now! I can stand on my own two feet instead of taking the food from someone else's plate!" Hestia stated proudly

"Isn't that what you were doing right now?"

"T-that's different! This food is so good and I couldn't let it go to waste!"

"Hoho, what a great way to put it, truly you have grown up, my tears of joy just won't stop." Hephaistos had a completely deadpan face while saying that

"Gyuuuuu!"

The goddess of the forge let out a small scoff at Hestia pouting, she may act mature with her Familia but with other gods she was a cute and useless goddess.

"My my." A pair of heels clicking against the floor were heard as another goddess approached from behind, making Hestia turn around "How nice to see that you two are still great friends. You two look stunning too. What a pair."

"F-Freya!?" Hestia widened her eyes seeing the goddess of beauty from the Norse Pantheon right there

Freya was a goddess that completely transcended the concept of beauty, while Hestia may look amazing in her new dress, she couldn't hold a candle to a true goddess of beauty and love like the silver haired queen of the Norse Pantheon, her merely walking caught the gaze of every man in the room, and even some women too!

"Why are you here?" Hephaistos asked the goddess of beauty

"Just saw an old friend, decided to come along and say hello and maybe invite her to walk around the halls with me." Freya answered with a smile

"N-No need to say it like that, Hephaistos…" Hestia sweatdropped

"Oh, am I disturbing you, Hestia?" The silver haired goddess asked the shorter one, she could have only sounded more condescending if she had kneeled to be the same height as the chibi goddess, at least in Hestia's eyes

"It's not that…" Hestia answered, a small twitching in her lips happening as she tried to hold back her anger "I just… don't like you."

"Fufufu, and that's why I like you." Freya smiled, patting the Loli Big Boobs goddess, making Hestia's eyes twitch in anger

"Oh please." Hestia rolled her eyes as she thought a few obscenities towards Freya

Hestia didn't like Freya, she always acted high and mighty, which due to being a lady among women was probably warranted, and her natural charm ability gave her control over even some gods, along with managing to enslave the poor children on the gekai with a simple smile, it pissed her off how successful she was without even needing to try

"Yo! Frey-frey! Freya-Huh? Is that Itty Bitty!?" And another annoyance makes itself known to Hestia

"At least you aren't as bad as some others I know…" Hestia grit her teeth at who was coming

"Why so tense?" Freya smiled, knowing very well why

Freya turned to see the goddess that was approaching, seeing another red headed one, this one having a much slender frame than the current trio, her eyes were quite small so they looked closed and she was wearing a low cut black dress that would show off her cleavage if she had any. The newcomer arrived near them, waving her arm to say hi

"Hello, Loki." Hephaistos raised a hand

"Why are you here…!?" Hestia practically growled

"Whassamata? Am I not allowed to say hi? It'd be pretty rude to not do it considering the event." Loki shrugged, snapping her fingers at Hestia "Get with the program, chibi."

Hestia glared at Loki with a face of pure anger, it looked like she would start foaming at the mouth at any moment, she was the enemy! She hated her!

"That's not a good face, Hestia." Hephaistos glanced at the small goddess "Although, it's been a long while since we've all seen each other, hasn't it?"

"Yeah, it's been forever. For most people here too." Loki rubbed the back of her head

A waiter of the Ganesha Familia came closer to the group, offering a few drinks, to which Freya accepted making the man jolt at how close the goddess was

"I'll say Loki, I've heard quite a lot of news regarding your Familia recently. Things must be going well, right?" Freya smiled at the goddess of trickery

"Aww shucks, if I'm hearing that from someone on your level that must mean I'm moving up in the world!" Loki blushed a little at the compliment "My children are my pride and joy, you don't mind if I brag a little, do you?"

"Oh yeah, speaking of Familias. Hestia, how are the new children of your Familia?" Hephaistos asked, making Loki and Freya turn to look at Hestia with a surprised expression

"Wait, chibi here finally got herself some new members? Look up at the sky, is it Armageddon? Ragnarok? Maybe hell froze over!" Loki laughed at the absurdity

Hestia fumed at Loki making fun of her, stomping her foot down, this wasn't going to go like this! She has bragging rights now!

"Yes I did! My new members are an amazing adventurer with golden armor and hair who was able to help my Bell fight off a Minotaur!" Hestia exclaimed, carefully leaving out the part where he got his ass beat "And a beautiful archer who has the ability to fly! You'll see, you and your Wallensomething will see! I will soon be up in the Familia rankings!"

"The archer can fly? Impressive skill. Haven't heard of any adventurer that can do that without magic." Hephaistos' eyebrow raised a little, she's impressed Hestia managed to snatch up one with such a rare skill "And they together made that dress for you?"

"Exactly!" Hestia smirked victorious

"So that's why she actually got clothes this time instead of some rags." Loki teased the chibi goddess, making her fume some more

"I will rip this bitch in half!"

"Wait, I am sure a member of my Familia heard your Bell talking about a third new member." Freya mentioned thoughtfully

"Oh! Yeah, she's not one that comes out much, but she's a half elf princess of a distant kingdom, and an expert at healing magic. Pretty amazing, right?" Hestia smirked, her smugness returning at full strength

"Wow, impressive. Seems like you are going up quicker and quicker." Freya smiled amused

"You know, it's quite the big coincidence that I also managed to get a new member for my Familia as well." Loki mentioned, grabbing a drink and taking a sip, taking Hestia's bragging as a challenge "She's like a little cute knight with a lance, she's so adorable! I almost can't hold myself back from patting her head all over!"

"My princess is cuter!" Hestia yelled

"Nuh uh!" Loki yelled back

"Since we are talking about new members, I got myself one too." Freya mentioned making the two stop their bickering "She's quite the prodigy if I do say so myself, being able to train with Ottar, and I heard she is even the daughter of two amazing heroes."

"No fair! How is your newby that awesome!?" Loki and Hestia yelled at the cheat goddess that was Freya, who laughed at the two

Hephaistos sighed, she didn't get anyone new to her Familia recently so she didn't really have a way to enter the conversation. However, she did notice something weird that was nagging at her

"Hey Loki." Hephaistos called the goddess of mischief, making her turn to her "It's a little weird seeing you in a dress. Don't you usually prefer men's clothes?"

"Hehe, well, I was told that a little chibi was coming to the party, and since I thought she'd be too poor to wear a proper dress I'd come along to make fun of her." Loki smiled like what she said was normal and completely acceptable "But she actually managed to get one so now I'm just kinda disappointed."

Hestia's face got red when she heard Loki, but then she realized that now Loki couldn't make fun of her for anything because of her children helping her, so she decided to shoot back at her

"Yeah, too bad, Loki. Now you can't make people not focus on your complex." Hestia shrugged with a smirk, making Loki turn to her with a frown

"What 's that?" Loki growled

"Oh, nothing. It's just that I noticed that your dress is really low cut, y'know. And I just don't know why~." Hestia's smirked grew larger, the two goddesses glaring at each other

"And it begins again…" Hephaistos sighed

"What ya trying to say, huh!?" Loki grit her teeth

"Why are you trying to show off what you don't have?" A blow right onto Loki's ego "I wonder just how many men fell off the massive steep cliff that is your chest! It's so flat I bet your Familia members could use you as a table for celebrations!"

Freya let out a small snort at that last comment, which only made Loki growl more

"THAT AIN'T FUNNY YA HAG!"

"KYAH!"

And so Loki lunged at Hestia, grabbing the miniature goddess by the cheeks with tears in her eyes, pulling on her while the chibi goddess shook her arms quickly trying to fight back against the flat goddess but she was too short to be able to reach her lanky self

"Oh, what's going on here?"

"It's the Loli Big Boobs vs Loki No Boobs!"

"Ten elixirs that Loki runs off growling frustrated!"

"Twenty elixirs that I'll be the one comforting her after it and helping her understand that flat is justice!"

"Make a real bet you moron!"

Other gods started gathering around to watch the cat fight that happened almost every time these two met, with Loki shaking Hestia all over, up, down, left, right, however this only served to humiliate even more as the impressive chest of the chibi goddess bounced around, making Loki grit her teeth and finally drop her

"Haa… haa… I'm done with this…" the goddess of mischief was twitching before she began to walk away

"Yeah, run off! And try not to look so pathetic next time you do!" Hestia yelled while on the floor, her cheeks swollen from how much they were pulled

"I'LL GET YA NEXT TIME, YA DAMN LOLI BIG BOOBS!" And so Loki ran off crying at the injustices of the world

The other gods murmured amongst themselves before leaving to go back to whatever business they had, now that it was over they had no reason to watch the group anymore. Hephaistos was covering her face with her hand, a long sigh leaving her mouth

"Loki really is rounded out." Freya mentioned

"Rounded out? She acts like a child." Hephaistos countered

"In the past the gods would kill each other for fun. I find this a lot cuter, and less dangerous." Freya mentioned as Hephaistos helped Hestia up

"Damnit! I forgot to ask Loki if Wallensomething had a boyfriend!" Hestia exclaimed, but due to her swelled cheeks, they couldn't really understand her

"I think Loki has taken a liking to the children in the Gekai. Maybe that's why she changed." Hephaistos suggested

"Yeah…" Hestia rubbed her cheeks and got them back to normal "I hate to admit it, but she has that in common with me."

"Oh? And here I thought you said that you didn't see humans like that. Did that boy change your view?" Hephaistos teased

"Hehe, maybe he did! Bell is a very good boy. He's wasted on someone like me." Hestia sighed

"I heard he's a boy with white hair and red eyes, right? You told me all about him when you got him." Hephaistos had a little smile remembering those times

Freya seemed to glance at them at that moment before she then layed her glass down and began to walk off, swishing her hair back

"I bid you farewell."

"Eh?" Hephaistos blinked "Already? Do you have somewhere to be?"

"I got the information I wanted. There's no reason for me to stay." Freya mentioned while waving her hand

"...you didn't ask anyone anything though." Hephaistos blinked confused but she was ignored

Freya continued to walk away before stopping and turning around to look at the two, giving them a smile that made Hestia widen her eyes

"And I got bored of the men here." And so the goddess of beauty made her way out of there, putting extra swing into her hips

The two goddesses blinked, not sure what Freya was on about. The goddess of the forge sighed, trying to find another waiter so she could get a new drink since she finished hers already

"Freya really is a goddess of beauty, no respect for others." Hephaistos commented

"Y-Yeah… um…" Hestia fidgeted a little, making Hephaistos turn to her with a look sharper than that of a dagger "...Hephaistos."

"Yes?" Hephaistos frowned, she knew this chibi goddess would want something

"Can I ask you for a favor…?"

Hestia's Familia Church, Day

Bell and Jason were preparing themselves for another day of exploring the dungeon, while Ishtar did what she does best, which is laying on the couch lazing around

"Well Master, another day of work, are you ready to get stronger?" Saber asked Bell

"Of course! How far should we go today?" Bell asked his Servant

"Well…"

"How far did you go that day? Floor five was it?" Ishtar cut Saber off, making the servant frown at her

"Floor six actually." Bell corrected her

"Alright, then you will work to get there once again." Ishtar snapped her fingers, making the two widen her eyes

"Are you insane!? We could die if we do that!" Saber yelled

"The only way to get stronger is to challenge yourself, and the rabbit managed to hold himself quite well against monsters in the sixth floor, I'm sure if you give him a little hand in training he will manage to beat that floor with no problem." Ishtar put her hands behind her head

"So you want me to train him?" Saber asked making Bell beam with excitement

"Hell no!" And Bell got disappointed "You aren't warrior material, summon someone who knows how to fight and then have them help the rabbit." Bell got excited again

Saber thought about it for a moment, wondering who'd accept to help him train in this situation… Medea would probably try to come again but she wouldn't be of much help here.

"I can teach him magic, Lord Jason!"

Caenis would probably break the boy, especially since he doesn't know about the more… sensitive part of dealing with them

"What a waste of time!"

The twins are a bad idea, Pollux was nice but Castor would for sure try and kill the kid

"DON'T YOU GET CLOSE TO MY SISTER, YOU ZEUS INFECTED BRAT!"

"Haha, it's nice seeing you two get along."

Atalanta could teach him archery but then again she'd probably pamper him too much…

"A child shouldn't go to the dungeons, you should stay here where it's safe. Pat pat."

But then Saber had an idea, snapping his fingers

"Got it!" Saber then turned to his master "Master, get ready, because I'll summon the legendary hero responsible for killing the Minotaur to train you!"

"Really!?" Bell looked ecstatic, he can't believe he will meet the legendary hero of the stories "You will call the Argonaut!"

"I am THE Argonaut!" Saber yelled "Bur I supposed you mean the member of the Argo, so yes, I will summon him."

"That's amazing!" Bell had stars coming out of his head from how excited he was

"But I'll tell you, he is a lot stronger than Medea was, so this might take a small tool on your magic reserves, however you have a lot of it so it probably won't do much." Saber said, preparing himself to summon him "Honestly, I think I might even be able to summon three members at once."

Maybe he should test that? He managed to keep Medea around for an entire day after she completed her task, so perhaps a whole trio of heroes helping out in the dungeon with the task of helping Bell evolve until Hestia returns will not only better his magic stat but also make sure Jason doesn't die while trying to help his master! It's genius! And perhaps he can manage to keep them around even for a while after Hestia returns, ohohoho, how much of a genius can you be captain, it's probably what she'll say!

"You are daydreaming." Ishtar told Saber making him sputter

"Anyway! Here it goes!" Saber then took some air into his lungs, extending his arms to the sides as a magic circle appeared around him "Please Heracles, come this time! My safety will be more than guaranteed with you around!"

A magic circle appeared under Saber, expanding itself as three magic signatures appeared, Bell put a hand on his head as he felt a pretty substantial hit to his magic reserves, but most likely thanks to the boost for his magic stat being something constantly happening, it wasn't as severe as expected

"Come and help my master get stronger and stay safe until his goddess returns! Come to me, Argonaust! Astrapste Argo!"

And so the summoning was done, three figures appeared from the circle, a familiar half elf and two new members, an adult man and a cat girl

"I'm back, Lord Jason!"

"Nice to see you are still as loud as ever, haha."

"I am here."

"Damnit, no Heracles!" Saber grit his teeth

"At least try and hide your disappointment."

Bell looked at the three heroes with sparkles in his eyes, even more heroes from ancient times for him to meet! He wants to be just like them

"Well, I suppose I should introduce you…" Saber sighed, this lineup isn't bad but it isn't Heracles, however it will do "Master, I want you meet some more members of my crew. You already know Medea."

"Nice to see you again, mister Bell." Medea smiled and waved at him "How are things with Syr?"

"I haven't gone to see her yet." Bell rubbed the back of his head

"This here is Atalanta, the archer of the ship." Saber pointed at the cat girl

The so called Atalanta had long blonde hair with her bangs being colored green at the borders, wearing a green dress, the middle part of her clothes which covered her torso being black with details in both yellow and orange, her legs being completely covered by black leggings, her cat ears and tail being the same blonde as her hair, and her chest was just as unassuming as Loki, which is to say, completely flat

"It is a pleasure to meet you child. I shall keep you safe." Atalanta nodded at Bell

"It's a pleasure as well, miss Atalanta!" Bell did a small bow to the cat woman, making her ears twitch

"Just Atalanta is fine." The cat woman said, raising one hand

"She sure got used to him quick." Saber deadpanned

"That's Atalanta for you, always has a soft spot for the children." Medea smiled

Atalanta's ear twitched again, making her glare at Saber, who raised his hands in self defense

"And last but not least!" Saber quickly changed subjects so he wouldn't get shot "The hero who defeated the Minotaur, Theseus!"

Theseus was a tall and muscular man, wearing a armor seemingly made of various metals and some leather, that covered most of his torso, his arm had a small gauntlet at his wrist while his feet had furred footwear, his hair was long and blonde and his eyes were a nice and gentle blue, he smiled at Bell and waved at him

"It's great to see the master of Jason. I hope he didn't cause you much trouble." Theseus smiled at Bell, Saber however looked offended by that sentence

"It's a pleasure, mister Theseus but…" Bell looked at the supposed man who fell the minotaur like in the stories…

"Is there an issue?" Theseus asked

"You aren't the Argonaut." Bell stated making the four look at him in confusion

"...what?" Saber asked in shock

"His appearance doesn't match what the books said he looked like. He was said to have white hair." Bell explained, which made them all even more confused

"Huh!?" Saber didn't know who the hell this Argonaut was then! Whoever he was he was for sure committing a lot of copyright infringement! "So there was some random who was using the name of my crew without my permission!? Who does he think he is!?"

"Lord Jason, please!" Medea tried to calm him down from his tirade

While Saber was going on about copyright laws and how whoever this Argonaut was that he'd hear from his lawyers, Theseus continued his talk with Bell

"So, I'm not the hero you were talking about?" The hero rubbed the back of his head "Now I feel awkward."

"Sorry about that…" Bell probably embarrassed him and now Saber was angry

"Don't be, you didn't do anything wrong, it was a simple misunderstanding. At least that means that this Argonaut was probably a great guy." Theseus smiled, making Bell feel better

"Yeah, he was a great hero who went on so many adventures! He had a special sword made especially to kill minotaurs!" Bell said making Theseus smile

"Asterios would not like that weapon, that's for sure." Theseus laughed, remembering the talk with the minotaur

"Asterios?" Bell blinked

"I'll tell you about him some other time. I'm sure you two could be great friends." Theseus said before stretching a little "Now, how are we going to train him?"

"Oh!" That snapped Saber back to normalcy "We will be taking Bell to the Dungeon and help him train against monsters, after seeing how well he fairs until the sixth floor then we will begin a training regimen, Theseus, you can help him with close quarters combat, he fights using daggers so try and get one of his spares for training."

"Understood. I'm more used to swords but I can do anything." Theseus nodded

"Atalanta, you may help him train his agility, see how much he can accompany your run and train him to dodge your arrow-" when Saber talked about her shooting Bell he was the one that nearly got shot, the arrow narrowly missing him "Forget what I said! Train his agility however you see fit!"

"Hmph." The huntress huffed "And I'm against this idea from the start. Bell is a child, he shouldn't be going to the dungeon and suffering against monsters."

"He nearly died last time he went to level six too." Ishtar mentioned for no apparent reason

"Even more reason for him to stay." Atalanta frowned

"But Atalanta, I need to go to the dungeon! I need to get stronger and get money to help my goddess!" Bell explained

"If the problem is money I'll go there myself and get the rewards. It's clearly too dangerous for you." Atalanta stated

"But like that I won't become a hero like you!" Bell exclaimed making Atalanta's ears twitch

"A hero?"

"Yes! Miss Tohsaka told me that being a hero is dangerous, how they all meet horrible ends, but after seeing how powerless I am… I can't simply let you save me. I can't just keep being saved by others, I need to be strong so I can protect the people I love and stop making them worry about me." Bell told the huntress, the woman let him speak, her gaze softening at him "So I will go to the dungeon, and I will get stronger."

Atalanta stared at him, trying to find any shred of hesitation in his gaze, but she couldn't find any. That is truly what he desired and he would not stop until he managed to get it. That made her sigh, before nodding

"Understood. If that's your wish, then you better live and accomplish it." Atalanta is now going along with the plan "But if things get too dangerous for you, I am grabbing you and taking you to safety. Is that clear?"

"Y-Yes ma'am!"

"Good." The huntress then patted the rookie on the head

"What are you, his mom?" Saber mumbled, which made the archer turn to him and made him flinch "I didn't say anything!"

"And what about me?" Medea asked

"You do what you do best, provide support and healing to the crew with your magic!" Saber crossed his arms

"Understood!" Medea nodded

"I'll stay here and guard the base." Ishtar raised a thumbs up

"You mean laze around and do nothing?" Saber deadpanned but the goddess didn't answer "Whatever."

The captain sighed, looking at this group he had, now thiswas looking more like a crew, and it would look better and better the more member of the faction and the familia they got! And it would also make sure that he could stay alive longer, this is perfect!

"Now, forward Argonauts!"

"Yes sir!"

And so they went to the dungeon to start their days of training!

"Wait, I don't have a weapon." Theseus realized

"Just steal Jason's sword, it's not like he uses it." Atalanta shrugged

Dungeon, floor 4

Bell slashed through a goblin, making him disintegrate and his magic stone to fall down. From behind a lizard monster tried to attack Bell, but he quickly dodged to the side and stabbed it in the head, using it as a platform to raise himself and kick a kobold that tried to hit him from behind away. The group for trainers watched Bell's performance, with Saber giving the orders as to where to attack

"Alright, now finish off the Kobold while dodging the frog shooter at your left! Then move for a counter attack against the frog!" Saber yelled, and Bell followed

Medea had to raise her staff to stop Atalanta from killing the monsters that tried to sneak attack Bell, the huntress kept her focus on all of the rookie's blind spots to make sure he'd be safe, and with Saber being the one giving directions she couldn't help but feel slightly worried, even if she did trust Saber with at least that

"He has some skill, normal humans can't handle this amount of monsters this easily." Atalanta stated before landing a kick on a Kobold that tried to sneak up on them from behind, breaking it's neck

"I agree, he has potential. With that agility he can dodge almost anything, and if he gets some more strength training he might be able to beat monsters about three times his size." Theseus stated nodding, cutting a goblin that tried to attack him from his side

Saber was well hidden between the two fighters, being very smug in his safe space, while Medea collected the the magic gems and have them to Theseus, who was also carrying the bag to allow for easier movement for Bell, who managed to kill the rest of the monsters

"Very good, very good. It seems that the stats update really made you stronger." Saber clapped, a lot more confident now that he had guaranteed security

"Thank you, mister Saber!" Bell nodded, excited to be getting better

"Now, onwards to the fifth floor!" Saber ordered and they continued on their way

During their walk they noticed another team of adventurers, this one had a small person carrying an absurdly massive bag, which made Saber curious as to why they were only carrying it and not doing much else, and so when they managed to get far enough away from them, Saber asked the question

"Master, why was one of the members of that adventurer group only responsible for carrying the bag?"

"Oh, that's because they are a supporter." Bell answered

"What's a supporter?" Theseus asked

"They are people who aren't strong enough to be full adventurers, so they help out doing other tasks, like carrying the supplies, they basically support the actual adventurers." Bell explained

"So they just do the boring labor part of adventuring? …Like a slave?" Medea blinked

"No!" Bell exclaimed in shock "They just help out, they even get their own cut of the profits from the expeditions and are also a part of Familias! They're not slaves, they are just as important as any part of a group!"

"Ah right! Sorry!" Medea nodded, now understanding it more

"Should our group get a supporter?" Saber wondered

"Couldn't you or Medea do what they do?" Bell asked

"I'm not strong enough to carry that much stuff." Medea shook her head, she actually just didn't want to carry such a big bag on her back

"I'm the captain, I won't be doing the labor, that's why I have you." Saber answered like it was obvious, only to be smacked by Atalanta "Hey!"

"I-I guess you're right… Well, then I guess it makes sense for us to get a supporter. It will also help us get to lower levels faster as well…" Bell pondered, it did sound like a good idea now that he thought about it

"Then it's settled! Tomorrow, before coming to the dungeon, we will find ourselves a supporter!" Saber said proudly, having a plan as to how they could get one

Bell sighed, he could now understand what Ishtar said about Saber not being the most reliable, even his crew seemed to have problems with him by the way Atalanta acted, however, he does think that he's a good captain… even if he is hard to deal with.

Front of the Church, next day

It was really early, and that was because Bell was going to start his training, they learned that if the summoned Argonauts from Saber's Noble Phantasm don't use much magic by themselves then they can stay around for longer, Atalanta being more of an exception with her independent action skill, so the training could go along for at least a few days, they hope it can last at least until Hestia comes back

"Alright Bell, we will start your combat training. Try and land a hit on me, we will be fighting for fifteen minutes, and then you will get a little bit of rest before going for Atalanta's training, alright?" Theseus explained, checking the dagger he grabbed from Bell, it was his backup that the guild gave him along with the one he had, probably just to charge him more

"Got it! I'll try my best, mister Theseus!" Bell nodded determined, getting in position and the hero did the same

"Okay… begin!" Medea swung her staff down, allowing the match to begin

Bell dashed at Theseus, trying to land a hit with his dagger, which the hero parried easily, pushing him back, which made Bell widen his eyes

"Nice first hit, trying to overwhelm your opponent with speed. But if you want to have a chance in hitting me, you need to come with the intent of actually hurting me!" Theseus told Bell, going for a counter hit

The rookie adventurer dodged the attack by doing a flip backwards, landing back and trying to attack the slayer of the minotaur once again, attacking various times using his speed, only for each attack to be parried

"His defenses are almost unbreakable, and the sheer strength his parries have is insane! If this is him holding back to train me then his level of power is insane!" Bell thought, moving back to dodge another counter hit from Theseus "If I want to land a hit, I need to think outside the box…"

Bell then charged again, trying to slash at Theseus, who dodged the attack, however the rookie used the momentum to fall down, use one hand to lift his body up and tried to land a kick on the hero, which he blocked with the arm holding his dagger

"Nice!" Theseus praised but Bell wasn't done

Bell tried to throw his dagger at Theseus, however he moved his head to the side and dodged the attack, but that served as a distraction for Bell to jump over him and grab the dagger he threw, falling down and trying to slash Theseus again, but he blocked the attack, however a strand of his hair fell down

"Impressive! Quick thinking like that is what gives you the advantage in a battle!" Theseus praised him once more, but with Bell now more airborne it allowed Theseus to have an easier time landing a hit himself

The hero then hit Bell with his elbow, making the boy grunt as he fell down, rolling on the floor, making Medea raise her staff up

"Match finished! Theseus landed one hit while Bell landed zero hits!" Medea announced

"But it can also put you in a disadvantage if you try such risky moves against an experienced fighter." Theseus explained, helping Bell get up

"Huff… I see…" Bell panted, shaking his head to get back in the game "You are very strong mister Theseus, I can see how you could be a Minotaur without a Fauna…"

"Haha, you flatter me." Theseus laughed and gave Bell a small pat on the back "We still have time, let's go a couple more rounds and see how much better you can get."

"Right!"

It was now Atalanta's turn to train Bell, the archer standing right besides Bell with her bow raised

"Alright child, my training is simple, I will shoot this arrow with not much strength, and you will have to catch up to it and grab it before it touches the floor." Atalanta explained her training, making Bell gape at her

"That sounds impossible! Only higher level adventurers can be capable of something like that!" Bell exclaimed

"So if you do it you will be on the same level as them. I'll give you a demonstration." Atalanta stated before pulling on the strings, an arrow forming on her bow

"Wow! A magic now that creates arrows! That's amazing!" Bell widened his eyes, normally long range weapons weren't of much use in the dungeon due to the costs, since to damage stronger monsters you'd need various arrows of very expensive materials, but a magic bow that creates the arrows itself would be revolutionary

"Focus." Atalanta told him, making Bell snap out of his amazement and nod

Bell was still a child so she should go easy on him, so not too much strength and speed on the shot, maybe twenty percent will be a good start, and so Atalanta took a deep breath and shot the arrow, it flying like the wind

"Wow!"

And then Atalanta dashed right after it, moving so fast Bell couldn't even see her before she had already grabbed the arrow and stopped moving, it was like she had teleported

"If you manage this then I will put more strength in the arrow." Atalanta stated, making the arrow disappear as she walked back to his side

"That was amazing! That amount of speed is something out of this world!" Bell yelled making Atalanta's tail swing a little

"In life I was known for my overwhelming speed, and since that also seems to be your specialization, this training is the perfect one for it." Atalanta finished her explanation and got in position "Ready?"

"A-Ah! Yes!" Bell gulped, not sure if he'd be able to do it

And so Atalanta shot an arrow and Bell dashed after it, his speed was his main weapon but even with that he couldn't reach such a fast shot from the huntress, the arrow falling and sticking on the ground and making Bell stop

"Too fast!" Bell exclaimed

"We'll try again." Atalanta stated

"Yes!" Bell yelled, running back to her side

Orario, near the guild, morning

The group was located near a water fountain, with Saber showing a small sign he made to try and get attention of supporters, it read "Looking for a supporter, will pay!"

"Why isn't this working!?" Saber yelled in anger

"You forgot to specify how much of the cut they would be getting." Atalanta mentioned

"DAMNIT!" Saber realized his blunder

He expected that they would be swarmed with candidates with a simple showing of the sign, they are the great argonauts after all! How can they not recognize his greatness!?

"Maybe we will just have to make due without one for today and try again tomorrow." Theseus suggested

Saber sighed in defeat at their failure at getting a new member, Bell rubs the back of his head at the antics of his servant, that is before he hears someone approaching, turning to see who it was

"Hello." It was a small girl with brown hair and eyes, wearing a long white robe that covered most of her body, on her back there was a massive backpack "Are you looking for a supporter?"

The group turned to the voice, with Saber getting into full attention when he heard her question, making him grin, before he coughed into his hand and changed to a more professional way of speaking

"Why, yes we are. Our sign must have caught your attention, young girl." Saber stated smugly as he approached

"..." the girl looked at him, her eyes moving up and down on him, like she was analysing him and his golden armor "Yeah, something like that."

"We, of course, are willing to accept your help. Do be glad that you can join such an amazing group!" Saber boasted some more, only to be shut by Atalanta so he didn't scare away the girl

"Ignore him." Atalanta stated "Why are children so eager to go into the dungeon…?"

"Well, I can help. I won't be much of a problem if that's what you're all wondering." The girl mentioned

"We would be glad to have you around." Theseus smiled at her "What do you say, Bell?"

"I don't see a problem with her joining." Bell nodded, agreeing with him "What is your name?"

"I'm Lili, it's a pleasure to work with you!" The girl, now named Lili, did a little bow at them

"Nice to meet you, Lili. I'm Bell, and these are…" Bell introduced himself and went to introduce the rest of his team

"I'm Medea!" Medea waved

"My name is Theseus, it's a pleasure." Theseus nodded

"Atalanta." Atalanta's ears twitched "Call the blonde one Saber."

"Like the weapon?"

"Yes."

"Then welcome to the team, Lili." Bell smiled at the girl as he signaled her to follow them "To the dungeon!"

"That's my line!" Saber yelled, finally being freed from Atalanta

"Yes." But the rest of the team was already following the rookie

"Don't follow him like he's the captain! Hey! Wait up!" Saber ran after them

Dungeon, floor 5

Bell was doing even better than he did yesterday, cutting through the monsters even easier and managing to dodge all of their attacks, with Medea and Lili collecting the magic stones that fell while Atalanta stood close to them to make sure no monsters attacked them

"Alright, doing good. Frog Shooter from above! Evasive maneuvers!" And Saber kept doing what he did best, however when he said that, Lili perked up

"Frog Shooter?" The supporter asked

"Yes?" Saber responded confused

"They only appear on floor six, we are on floor five…" Lili explained

"Really? We've been seeing some of them around four and five." Theseus responded, grabbing a Kobold that tried to jump him and crushing it's neck with one hand

"Is there something pushing the monster up some floors?" Medea asked

"Well, there was the incident where a Minotaur was sighted on the upper floors." Lili recalled which made Bell freeze for a moment "So maybe there's something going on with the middle and lower floors that's making the other monsters go up a few floors for survival. I think the higher ranking Familias will solve this soon."

"Let's hope so. This will most likely put the children that explore these dungeons in danger." Atalanta stated, shooting an arrow that killed a goblin that tried to sneak up on Bell "Focus, Bell!"

"Y-Yes! Sorry!" Bell shook his head and returned to slashing the monsters away

"A magic bow that creates the arrows itself, that's amazing…" Lili widened her eyes at Atalanta's magic weapon

Atalanta gave the small girl a glance, her ears twitching once more as she heard the girl's interest in the weapon

"Are you interested in archery?" Atalanta asked

"Ah! Yes actually! I even use a crossbow." Lili said straighter, showing off her weapon to the huntress

"Hmm." Atalanta looked intrigued, taking a look at the weapon for a moment "If you wish I can train you along with Bell."

"That sounds great, but I'd… have to check with my Familia first." Lili looked away as she refused the offer, making Atalanta frown

"...I see." Atalanta felt there was something wrong there

However they continued walking along the floor even with Atalanta having that feeling, soon reaching floor six of the dungeon, Bell sweated at the presence of the floor but he took a deep breath as he remembered his promise

"Stay close to me, child." Atalanta said while pulling Lili closer while Medea stuck close to Saber "Theseus, you will be the one to grab the magic stones while we are here."

"Right." Theseus nodded

"W-wait, you don't need to worry! I can do it by myself-" Lili exclaimed but was shut by a glance from Atalanta

"This floor has a dangerous presence about itself, I can feel that you will be killed if caught by the monster here. You will be staying near me so you don't get hurt." Atalanta stated, making Lili widen her eyes at how worried this woman was for her safety

"Master, you can tell us when you are ready to leave!" Saber yelled, hiding behind Atalanta with Lili, making the cat woman have a deadpan look

"Understood!" Bell yelled back, dodging an attack from a goblin and slashing him to pieces

"He has gotten very good in a very short amount of time." Theseus noted

"That is true. This level of growth is abnormal." Atalanta mused

"The goddess said that it's something akin to a growth spurt but for his stats. We don't know how long it's going to last, but it's good that we are making use of it." Saber explained surprising the two

"So that's why. If he keeps it up I'm sure he will be able to beat a Minotaur as well." Theseus mused, looking around and seeing how there weren't many monsters around in this floor

"There aren't many monsters here…" Lili mentioned, looking nervous

"That's a bad thing?" Medea asked

"That means the dungeon will resupply the floor soon." Lili stated, making Theseus and Atalanta get in high alert

And as if the dungeon had heard her, the walls began to crack, giving birth to new monsters, various goblins and kobolds, along with now frog shooters and three war shadows, their white masks staring down at the group, with Bell taking a step back before shaking his head and getting for battle

"So many…" Lili widened her eyes

"Master, that's way too many! Retreat!" Saber yelled looking around terrified

"If we beat this we will be able to get a massive reward! I'm not backing down! I know I can win!" Bell stated determined

"Are you an idiot!?" Saber yelled before growling in defeat "Fine! Theseus, Atalanta, give support when you think it's needed!"

"Is he crazy? There's three war shadows here! They are the strongest monsters at floor six and are one of the two newbie killers!" Lili exclaimed, making Atalanta and Theseus perk up

"So they are the ones we have to deal with first!" Theseus yelled as he stomped his foot on the floor and charged at one of the shadow monsters

"I'll keep one at bay as well. The small fry can be kept away by Saber. If needed, use light spells for protection, Medea." Atalanta stated and shot some arrows into a crowd of monsters

"Got it!" Medea nodded

"Wait, I'm the captain! And I don't have a weapon!" Saber yelled before Theseus threw the sword back at him, making it land near his feet, causing him to jump back in fear

Theseus charged down some monsters, breaking through most of them with his bare hands, making them fly back, he then grabbed a stalagmite, breaking it off and using it as a makeshift club, slamming it down on a group of monsters and killing them

"Already got a new one!" Theseus exclaimed, lifting the piece of stone, before he widened his eyes and dodged an attack from the war shadow

The shadow monster glared at Theseus, moving to try and slash at him with their claws, but the slayer of the minotaur blocked the attack with his new club, pushing the monster back before slamming it with his elbow

"Take this!" Theseus exclaimed, spinning in place and slamming the monster up with a down to up slam of the club

The war shadow was sent flying, hitting a wall, however it shook it's head and charged at him again, while a frog shooter tried to hit him from behind, however Theseus side stepped the attack from the frog, grabbing it's tongue and throwing it at the war shadow, making the monster slash the frog out of its way, but that was just a distraction

"Got you!" Theseus yelled, slamming the club down on the monster, making it's mask hit the floor directly

The war shadow tried to get up, however Theseus slammed the club down on it again and then spun it in his hand, having the sharp side down now, and then stabbed the monster throw the mask with it, causing it to crack and break completely killing it off and making the piece of stone be stuck on the floor once more

"One is down!" Theseus yelled

Atalanta's ears twitched as she heard that, kicking away a goblin before slamming a kobold in the head with her bow, she then aimed her bow slightly upwards and shot two arrows, both killing two frog shooters

"Almost finished." Atalanta stated, jumping back to dodge a slash from another war shadow

The monster tried to attack Atalanta, but the cat woman managed to dodge without much issue everytime, jumping up and using it's face as a platform so she could gain even more distance, making it stumble back as she landed down

"Focus." Atalanta mumbled to herself, getting herself in a more stable position and pulling back on the strings of her bow, a green energy surrounding the arrow it created "Now!"

Atalanta then shot her arrow, a small amount of winds being formed where it passed, hitting the war shadow straight in the mask before exploding in a green magic show, causing the creature to desintegrate

"Also done with mine!" Atalanta exclaimed

Saber was swinging his sword in arcs with a terrified look, trying to protect the two young girls behind him, one of them he knew could protect herself but was acting as a damsel in distress to see her lord Jason act like a husband and protect his wife

"Back off, monsters! Back off!" Saber yelled, cutting the head off of various weak monsters

"You're so amazing, Lord Jason!" Medea clapped happily

"You can fight! Don't act like you are a helpless princess!" Saber yelled at the young mage, killing another monster that tried to get close

Bell slashed through the weaker monsters no problem, moving back to dodge a slash from the war shadow, his gaze turning sharp as he saw the monster approaching him, however that attack seemed to move slower than last time in his vision, allowing him to jump away from it

"Is he slower?" Bell wondered as he dodged another hit and slashed it's hand away "No… The training with Atalanta must have made me faster!"

Bell then slid under it's legs, dodging another attack from the monster, jumping when he reached the backside of it and landing on its shoulder's, stabbing it right through the mask, making it yell in pain before he slashed it's mask to pieces

"GRAAAAH!" Bell screamed from the effort it took to cut through it, one of the hands of the creature slashing his arm, but he managed to kill it "And Theseus' made me stronger!"

Bell then fell down, panting as he shook his head while a drop item from the monster fell beside him, various weaker monsters trying to approach the rookie but Atalanta shot various arrows at them, killing them all before she ran close to him

"Bell! Are you okay? Did it hurt you?" Atalanta asked, her ears raised up in attention as she checked Bell for any injuries

"It just slashed my arm, I'm fine." Bell smiled at the cat woman, trying to reassure her that he was fine, but she looked clearly upset that he got hurt

"These damn monsters…" Atalanta glared at the two remaining weaker monsters, that glare making them sweat and walk back as they saw a dark energy surrounding her and the silhouette of a dark monstrous boar appearing behind her, before they both received an arrow through the head

After the monsters were dealt with, Saber sighed in relief that heanaged to survive an infestation like that, while Lili had her eyes wide at how insane these people were, especially with Medea running up to Bell and using chanteless magic to heal him, and it healed him perfectly in no time, which was a level of magical ability that only high level adventurers had! How high level were these people!?

"But… There's something wrong with the dungeons. It shouldn't act like this at this time… Monsters appearing in the wrong floors, increased spawn rates… What's going on here?" Lili thought, sweating nervously, before Saber glanced at her

"Are you okay?" Saber asked, snapping Lili back to reality

"H-huh!? O-Oh yeah! I'm fine! I'll get to collecting the magic stones!" Lili nodded, running to collect the stones

"That must have been pretty scary for you, but do not worry, such an amazing captain like me would never let you get hurt, so you can stay calm." Saber stated with a hand on his chest and a smirk

"Weren't you cowering in fear behind Atalanta when the monsters appeared?" Lili glanced at him before sighing, she already didn't like this one…

Lili collected all the magic stones, with Theseus helping her with some, and when she said he shouldn't have, he responded that a real hero helps those he can, especially his companions, while giving the girl a pat on the head. The rest of the group the approached Lili to give her their magic stones and the drop item Bell got, and Atalanta also checked on her to see if Saber managed to keep her safe, which surprised Lili a lot, these guys were way too nice…

"Well, I'd say this was a successful expedition! Let's make our way back and get our reward!" Saber crossed his arms and signaled the group to follow

"Got it." The group answered

"Come on, Lili." Bell called for the girl, who quickly followed right behind them

"Coming!"

Outside the dungeon, afternoon

The group made their way out, the crowd outside managing to cover up Atalanta, Medea and Theseus entering and leaving spirit form to leave the dungeon. Reappearing as they were a safe distance from the guards. Bell did some light stretching as the adrenaline from the adventure began to subside, looking around and seeing some adventurers carrying some covered cages that shook around with loud sounds of growling from the inside, which made him sweat

"Monsters." Atalanta frowned, her ears pointing at the direction of the cages

"So Ganesha Familia is already gathering the monsters for Monster Feria." Lili mentioned, making the group glance at her

"What's that?" Medea asked

"It's a famous event in Orario where members of Ganesha Familia try to tame monsters they get from the dungeon, it's not that exciting really but they still do it yearly." Lili explained "You didn't know?"

"Sorry, I'm from far away so I never heard of it." Medea rubbed the back of her head with a blush

Bell silently thanked Medea because he didn't want to look like an idiot by asking that question and Medea has cute privilege to be able to ask those questions without being called dumb!

"I'm curious about this festival. When is it?" Theseus asked

"Tomorrow I think." Lili answered

"Then I suppose we can take a day off and go check it out. What do you say?" Theseus suggested

"And slack off on training?" Bell asked

"Rest is important in training as well. Your mind needs rest for it to work at one hundred percent, especially those of children." Atalanta stated, patting Bell's head

"Well… Would you like to come as well, Lili?" Bell asked while blushing from the pats

"I'm sorry, but I have business tomorrow." Lili did a little bow

"It's okay, I'll see you the other day then for another adventure in the dungeon?" Bell asked

"Of course, I am your supporter after all." Lili smiled

"Well, then it's decided. Tomorrow, Hestia Familia will go to Monster Feria! Now, let's go trade in our money, Argonauts!" Saber announced and so they marched away

"Yes!"

"Wait, what if the goddess comes back today?" Medea asked

"We can ask her to come along as well." Bell answered making Medea nod

Outside the guild

After trading in their magic stones for Valis, they divided the money amongst themselves, which includes Lili, who got shocked by the amount she received

"I-Is this right!?" Lili gaped "I'm just the supporter, I don't think I should get this much…"

"You did help us, I don't think we would have managed to get to floor six today without you helping, so I think you deserve that much." Bell stated with a smile making Lili look down

"Well, if you say so…"

Atalanta looked at Lili for a little while more, and kept looking at her as they said their goodbyes and the small girl went away, the cat woman still couldn't get this feeling that there was something wrong with Lili

"Atalanta, we will be going home now." Saber told the huntress

"You can go ahead, I will be there shortly." Atalanta said, jumping away leaving them there

"W-What!? Where are you going!? Atalanta!" Saber yelled for the huntress but she already went away

Streets of Orario

Atalanta was jumping through the roofs of the buildings, her eyes scanning around to try and find where Lili went

"There's something wrong with that child. The way she speaks and how she seems to view herself…" Atalanta mumbled to herself, continuing to search

She stopped on a roof that was right in front of an alleyway, finally finding Lili. The girl seemed to have encountered two older men there, which already made her frown.

"What's going on there?" The huntress narrowed her eyes

From their body language she could tell that they were threatening the girl, which got Atalanta I'm position to jump at them, and her decision was settled when one of them punched the girl in the face and stole her cut from the mission money. The huntress jumped at them at massive speeds, cracking the roof she was on

"This is a nice amount. Did you steal from the party you were helping earlier?" One of the men laughed before being kicked in the stomach by a flying cat woman

The man flew back while the bag of Valis he was holding flew up, Atalanta extended her hand to the side and the bag fell right on it, she then threw it near Lili who was recovering from the hit, widening her eyes

"A-Atalanta!?"

"Who the hell are you lady!? Do you have a death wish-"

The man couldn't fully finish speaking before Atalanta summoned her bow and slammed it on his face, sending him back with his nose bleeding

"Threatening a child, hitting them and then stealing their hard earned money. You are the worst kind of scum there is." Atalanta glared at the two, making them tremble while on the floor

"W-who the hell are you!?" One of them yelled

"My name is Atalanta. The Chaste Huntress, one of the huntresses of Artemis trained since my childhood, and the protector of all children. Your actions are unforgivable. Leave this girl alone if you don't want an arrow to pierce you." Atalanta threatened the two

From the hits they took they could already tell that this woman was no joke, and from what she said she was a high level adventurer with a title from the gods, clearly higher level than them, they couldn't do anything to her!

"Tsk…" they scoffed and got up "This isn't over! You'll regret this!"

And so the two ran away as Atalanta's ears followed their movements to make sure they left, she then sighed

"You are safe now, Lili. Who were those people-" Atalanta turned to Lili, only to find that she had disappeared

The huntress widened her eyes, looking around with her ears raised in full attention, trying to hear where the girl went, but not managing to. The cat woman sighed, her ears falling as she noticed that she still couldn't save this child…

"Another child facing hardship… Lili, what is happening with you…?" Atalanta spoke to herself before she jumped away once again

Lili watched Atalanta go away, gripping the bag of Valis tightly in her hands. She couldn't understand… Why did she help her? What's with her title of protector of all children? She's an adventurer… It doesn't matter. She will make her way back to her Familia and continue with what she's doing… She hates adventurers, no matter how nice they act on the outside, they are all the same… she's sure of it.

And another chapter is done, next chapter we will be doing the Monster Feria or Monsterphilia, however you wish to call it, and finally finish the volume 1 part of the Danmachi story, yay! And Lili has been introduced earlier this time, we love Lili. And so the gods say that they got some new members as well, can you guess who they are and who are the masters?

And so Atalanta and Theseus are introduced to Bell, the man who fell the Minotaur and mama cat, Theseus is more here to serve as a figure for Bell to try and be cool like while Atalanta is here as the mother of the group, since she is the protector of all children and the majority of the characters here are very young, she will have to be all mama to protect the babies, at least Lili now has someone who has her back at all times.

Bell: *screaming as the minotaur comes to kill him* SOMEONE HELP!

Minotaur: *roars*

the minotaur is then cut in half and obliterated as a massive shadowy figure appears from behind it, Bell is drenched in blood and terrified

?: you... *buffs out air through its nose*

Bell: *screams in terror and runs away*

Asterios: okay...? *is confused as to why his master ran away from him*

turns to Ais who just got there

Asterios: I say... wrong thing...?

Ais: I don't know.

Bete comes right after

Bete: WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT-

Bete is doing his tomato boy talk in the hostess of fertility

Raikou is being held back by the entire hostess of fertility so she doesn't kill him

Tione: Bete, I think you should shut up...

Bete: who are ya!?

Raikou: I am his mother!

Bete: TOMATO BOY GOT HIS MAMA TO COME DEFEND HIM!? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Bell runs off, which causes Raikou to give Bete a death glare

Tiona: you fucked up.

Raikou: OX-KING STORM CALL - THE INNESCAPABLE NET OF HEAVEN!

Loki: IS THAT INDRA'S LIGHTINING!?

everything then exploded in a lightining filled fireworks show

Bell is about to be killed by the minotaur but a blonde woman cuts the monster in half, saving him

Bell: is that... the sword princess?

?: I ask of you, are you my master?

Bell: eh?

Ais: I'm here to help-eh?

Artoria: eh?

the two blondes look at each other before doing the spider man pointing pose, completely mirroing each other's movements

Bell: there are two!?

Bete comes from the side

Bete: alright, I'm here-THERE ARE TWO AIS NOW!?
