Shadow general romantic headcanons
♥︎He's loner type of guys, so don't expect of him much in the beginning of the relationship
♥︎But hey, at least he tries his best
♥︎The last thing he'd wanted is to lose y/n
(Like he lost Maria)
♥︎So that's why he watches you like an eagle, or like overprotective mother
♥︎Even though conversation doesn't last long, he got so much thoughts going on
♥︎Like, does he have to know y/n's favorite color? Yes indeed!
♥︎Does he have to know y/n's favorite animal? Of course!
♥︎And so on, it's even gets to the point in which he asks what size of shoes does y/n has...
♥︎Just in case, he must know everything
♥︎But he won't push if y/n don't wanna talk about it
♥︎He'll take mental notes to not speak of that topic from now on
♥︎He has incredible memory, like...
♥︎Did y/n mention that thing that she said was cool? Yeah he got it, or what's about that stuffy toy y/n wanted? It's lying on the y/n's bed as a surprise

♡He's very possessive, and by that I mean a lot
♡He gets irritated whenever y/n are having conversations with someone rather than him
♡Even if y/n aren't speaking,he's just happy having them by his side
♡Especially y/n knowing how Shadow will react if they won't get back in five mins like how they told Shadow so
♡He counts timer by five minutes or cuts the time off saying "Five minutes already passed" just because he got bored waiting for y/n
♡He doesn't get bored when y/n is around tho
♡Shadow watches every move, even if it doesn't look like he is watching, he watches from side eye to not make it so obvious
♡He is the tough guy but deep inside he is terrified of the thought of losing y/n
♡He finally finds someone who made his day brighter, the person whom made him happy for the first time after all those years
♡No, he couldn't lose y/n, he wouldn't let that happen
♡First time Shadow met y/n he thought about how that pitiful creature survive
♡He sticked around them all the time (in case they would do something stupid)
♡Which y/n didn't but rather attaching him further cause he felt "something" would happen
♡Which did, by hedgehog being madly attached to y/n and never letting them out of sight
♡He doesn't regret that day when he met y/n
♡He won't lock up y/n if its not necessary, unless they would find out about Shadow's obsession or worse...
♡Shadow knows he can't force y/n to love him but he still protects them from the shadows
♡But if y/n is planning to move out, don't expect Shadow to let that slide
♡Either y/n is gonna be locked up, or....they get trouble with moving out
