After being apparently "forsaken", Gigi decides to wander away from the humans(?) and see if she can add more things to her collection!
Of course, the first stop would be, the beach.
Well, a seaside to be exact.
The place was scattered with beach balls, a volleyball net
and a- slot machine?
This didn't stop her though, and Gigi immediately ran towards the waters.
"Mewhehe...wonder if there are any seashells perfect for my collection?" Gigi remarked.
Instead...well, she found-
"A fish? Seriously? Psh."
...
"Congratulations. You have found me." The dark purple fish spoke.
"Oh wow a talking fish." Gigi spoke in dead surprise.
The fish ignored Gigi's comment, "I am hidden in the water. Away from prying eyes."
"..Uh-huh.."
...
"Come, stay here for a moment and listen to my tale."
"Okay? This has to be worth it.."
"Are you familiar with the story of a captain and his ship?"
"Nope. Too busy adding more stuff to my collection!" Gigi
commented.
The fish looked..weird? It showed an expression, but Gigi couldn't tell what.
"Each rotting board of the ship was replaced with newer boards."
"The repaired ship would be beautiful; full and complete."
The fish paused.
"Many wonder if it is still the same ship."
"It is correct to assume that the Captain now has a brand new ship."
"Now I want you to wonder for a moment."
"Okay..?" Gigi awkwardly remarked.
"What if there was no ship. Just a Captain, building his own ship?"
"Well, that doesn't seem bad-"
The fish cut Gigi off mid-sentence, "-What if this Captain was malicious and depraved. Stealing parts from other's ships?"
"Is it his ship now, or is it an amalgamation of stolen parts?"
...
"Well..I guess if it were me, finders keepers! It's mine now!" Gigi answered cheerfully (dread building up). The fish doesn't seem delighted.
...
"Uh, what? Did I say something wrong?"
...
The fish didn't answer.
"...creepy."
Gigi went back to the cabin, new thoughts filled in her toon brain.
That simple question made Gigi's whole personality, falter for a moment.
