   Summary

   Vera Lorne was sent to audit the Resistance--quietly, efficiently, and without getting attached.

   Division Nine was supposed to stay invisible. Poe Dameron was supposed to follow orders. Neither plan is holding up particularly well.

   Between covert missions, explosive memos, and a department powered by caffeine and spite, Vera learns that sometimes survival looks a lot like treason--and trust feels worse than war.

   A slow-burn espionage story about bureaucracy, loyalty, and the people still fighting when the heroes go home.
