Standing in front of her stood Clark Kent.
Or at least in this alternate reality that’s what Clark Kent looked like.
He didn’t look bad or anything, but he reminded her of Knox, and in her experience – that wasn’t a good thing at all - even with his Clarkish smile and Clarkish attitude.
Still, it comforted her to know that at least in this reality, Clark Kent wasn’t afraid of being a hero, even if that meant he flew in blue and red tights… It gave her hope that someday her Clark would be the hero she knew he could be.
