Work Text:
“I’ll pick you up at the airport.” Sara didn’t want a reply before she hung up the phone, she knew that if she had Nyssa would have said something, trying to stop her but it felt like the right thing. There were a few things they needed to talk about, and they could start on the drive from the airport, and hopefully it wouldn’t be too awkward.
“Nyssa,” Sara called out when she saw the familiar face, and she walked up to her, wrapping her arms around her, a small smile playing over her lips, and as she pulled back, she could see the smile on Nyssa’s face too. “I’m glad you made it.”
“You know I would come for you,” Nyssa said, a small smirk dancing over Sara’s lips as she took Nyssa’s words in.
“You are always full of innuendos without you realizing what you just said,” Sara said as she looked at Nyssa, “I happen to really love that about you.”
“Beloved, who said I wasn’t aware of what I’m saying,” Nyssa smiled at her, “I do like to make you blush, and try to figure out if I knew what I said.” She took a step back and reached for Sara’s hand, “this time I did know what I said, but I would have prefer to say it the other way round, that you always come for me,” she said with a wink, “but either way, or both ways in this case if great.”
