The Cast

This chapter serves as some background to the characters powers and how they work, and is also something I refer to often. I will update this as more chapters release, so keep in mind if info changes later on. 

Template/Navigation

Name - Superhero Name -> The name that's known to the public, only close family members know about the student's identities. 

Powers - Self explanatory

Animal Suit/Symbol - Certain Abdominal Traits from the animals that are used in their super suits.

Team N.A.O.J ( Nagoya's Arms of Justice.)

The Good Guys! Founded by Tsuno Manami, the organization works hard to keep the rest of the world safe with their various powers. Most of the cast in Tetro PINK and Tetro BLUE reside in here! Here are their following powers and code names as of writing this, along with fun facts!

Quick thing to note, some suits have.. side effects that go on top of their powers.

Team Lead

Tsuno Manami - Nagoya's Arm of Justice ( Code Name Still a work in progress, this is her original title.)

Powers - Super Speed, Impenetrable to bullets without suit, Super Strength.

Animal/Suit Symbol - Luzon Bleeding-Dove. The middle of the suit glows red when dangers nearby, along with the ability to fly in the air. 

It is said that Tsuno Manami blends into the night while fighting crime, catching criminals off guard. This also goes for her friends.

Sector 1

Isono Miki - The Tangerine Rabbit

Powers - Ability to manipulate radio signals, and personify them. (i.e. using radio waves to make a platform for the team to run on.) The texture of these personifications can change.

Animal/Suit Symbol - Black-tailed (or orange-tailed) jackrabbit. The suit helps her jump incredibly high and hear things incredibly well. 

Isono Miki's favorite pastime to do with her powers is make temporary trampolines. She uses them often while on break. Apparently, she almost touched the stars once, but I do not believe that. 

Harada Keizou - The Roaring Bengal/Tiger Man (Name given by Chiba)

Powers - Can communicate with animals.

Animal/Suit Symbol - Bengal Tiger. His suit has strong retractable claws for combat, along with the ability to run faster on all fours. He can also fuse with Sawa to turn into a mech that can blast cannons of light, temporarily blinding his enemies.

His girlfriend is aware of his identity, and has asked profusely to join N.A.O.J. She may be of use in the future.

Chiba Airi - LIONLYNX!

Powers - Has the ability to make illusions using her imagination. 

Animal/Suit Symbol - Blue Lynx. Has more energy once in her suit, along with being able to walk on all types of water. 

Harada Keizou and Hama Ran have noted that at night, Chiba Airi's eyes glow in the dark. If in her suit, her sclera turns bright yellow, and her irises turn black, much to mimic a cat's eyes. If not, they just glow blue. This is a side affect from using her suit. 

Kamimura Kazutoshi - Tear Gas

Powers - Cannot get poisoned, and can spew any type of gas from his bare hands. 

Animal/Suit Symbol - Skunk. Once in his suit, Kamimura has the ability to strengthen and control the gas from his hands. The gas range also increases exponentially. 

Kamimura has a special warning dance he uses on occasion when he can't contact Sector 1 while in his suit. Hasegawa Ken calls it the 'Happy Dance' since it's similar to a skunks dance to warn others if predators are nearby. Kamimura is not fond of this nickname.

Hasegawa Ken - Necrosquirrel

Powers - Not only can Hasegawa predict 4 hours into the future, but he also has the ability to control and bring back the dead. He is only able to do so if their souls haven't moved on, and they do not wish to be dead.

Animal/Suit Symbol - A mix of a Brown Fox Squirrel, and a Flying Squirrel.

Hasegawa Ken has respawned animals before he ever got recruited. He has also attempted to respawn his sister, to no avail. 

Sector 2

Ouno Nanae - Polar Sigil 

Powers - Has the ability to use and create sigils that hold immense power. However, this is only effective when a specific type of paper is used. Along with that, her ability to twist her body into different shapes has been buffed. 

Animal/Suit Symbol - Polar Bear. Her suit is both indestructible and flexible, causing for her to be able to use her sigils to her advantage. 

Ouno Nanae often calls with her daughter during missions, and sometimes brings her into the facility to be watched over. She bit my ear once.

Wada Masanari - Masacry

Powers - Has the ability to shape shift into anything that is real. This includes animals, objects, and matter. He can also regenerate at swift speeds.

Animal/Suit Symbol - Chameleon. His suit has the ability to match colors with him at any time. This is only a prototype however, since Purple is unsure on how to tackle a power such as this. 

Wada Masanari has the ability to climb on any surface, including water and gas. He has also turned his hands into chicken legs once as an emergency snack.

 

Sasaki Hitomi - Bowerfeather

Power - Unknown, may be powerless, but it is still uncertain

Animal/Suit Symbol - Bowerbird. Her suit is still in progress, but has a quiver and bow designated for her that have different effects for each arrow.

Despite the fact that Sasaki Hitomi doesn't have any powers, she is still incredibly capable. I'd like to think that she gained more intelligence as her power, but it is still uncertain. She is able to plan missions incredibly well whenever Manami or Azusa are not present.

 

Ojima Taskeshi - Bitou

Powers - Has the ability to make his drawings come to life. However, he has to be incredibly detailed and cannot use his imagination. 

Animal/Suit - Octopus. His suit is one of the only suits to have multiple interchangeable limbs. He also has a sketchbook compartment on the right forearm of his suit.

Ojima is rather unfocused during missions. He had almost damaged his suit beyond repair due to his failure to not understand what's going on around him. Unlike most students, he has to undergo serious training in order to be able to go on missions again. 

Hama Ran - The Malevolent Lizard

Powers - Has the ability to mutate his body into abominations, as well as pyrokinesis.

Animal/Suit- Horned Lizard. His suit is able to withstand insanely hot temperatures, along with being able to focus his fire elsewhere on his body. 

 

Hama Ran's arm is able to speak and understand. It's name is Tokoronomi, but some just call it Ron. 

 

Sector 3

 Hiroaki Nakamigawa - Showstopper

Powers - Has the ability to control any type of reflection, along with his own shadow.

Animal/Suit - Peacock. The feathers that are behind his suit are are mirrors, which benefit him and his power by making it easier to get to enemies.

Most of the people in N.A.O.J. do not like him for how condescending he is. Even Hama's demon arm disapproves of his childish behavior. 

Yanagi Shingeki - The IceSwan

Powers - The ability to control crystals and bind them to himself. 

Animal/Suit - Swan. His graceful nature is reflected by his suit, which is specifically made to help him not get injured while in battle. Due to this, his suit is heavy, his feathers carrying the most weight.

Yanagi is surprisingly incredibly good at using his suit whilst in battle, despite its weight. It has been known for him to use the feathers on his suit as a barricade.

Ninomiya Youhei - VIPER

Powers - Not only can he spew venom from his mouth, he also has the ability to hypnotise. 

Animal/Suit - Viper Snake. His suit has the ability to camouflage, much like Masacry. Purple's going to give him upgrades soon, so he may be able to shoot venom one of these days.

Ninomiya Youhei has once tried to hypnotize me before. He learned the hard way that he can't hypnotise superheros, nor entities. 

Denden Misao - Snowflake Seal!

Powers - The ability to control ice, as long as water is 10 feet near her. Not only that, she has the ability to breathe underwater, and withstand cold temperatures.

Animal/Suit - Harp Seal. One of the only suits to have an upgrade attached, being her big front gloves. She uses them to ambush enemies whenever her ability to control ice is not in use.

Denden has accidentally frozen some of her teammates during the winter time before. It took 5 hours to thaw them out.

Matthias De Clerq - Teledor

Powers - The ability to make objects, and people move in the air at will ( Telekinesis) 

Animal/Suit - Black Labrador Retriever. Similar to Chiba's suit, Matthias de Clerq's suit has the ability to energize him, making it easier to control his abilities. His Telekinesis is also buffed exponentially whilst inside, making it easier to throw and control bigger things.

At first, Matthias was a bit upset that he didn't have the ability to talk to animals. That was until he could hear his horse speaking to him. This was a side affect of his suit.

Sector 4

Yokoi Ruka - BumbleHornet 

Powers - The ability to make anything she spells come to life. However, she has to have touched it before, and cannot use abbreviations.

Animal/Suit - Yellow jacket. She has the ability to paralyze her victims using the stinger on the back of her suit. 

 Yokoi Ruka has almost caused an explosion inside of the facilities. Testing the capabilities of her power, she once almost spawned a pipe bomb in the N.A.O.J headquarters. 

Maekawa Azusa/Purple - Mechaza

Powers - The ability to not only manipulate metal, but turn her prosthetics into any tool in the blink of an eye. She is also able to manipulate any type of media to her will.

Animal/Suit - Not known. She is the mechanic inside of NAOJ headquarters. She has not made her suit yet. 

Purple is incredibly talented and intelligent. She has even made a few robot accessories for me. I am glad that she is appreciated for her hard work.

Hirose Shingo - Forcesprey

Powers - He has the ability to not only give force fields to other teammates, but can also temporarily stop time whenever he's overwhelmed. This additional power will only work when overwhelmed though. He can also control who will be able to move whilst time is frozen. 

Animal/Suit - Osprey. Unlike other bird suits, Hirose Shingo cannot fly. However, he is able to hide emergency medical supplies in his suit whenever Wonswolf isn't available, making it easier to put his medical expertise to use. 

Hirose doesn't overuse his time freeze ability, it is said that he only uses it whenever a mission plan goes incredibly wrong. 

Ogura Noriko - THE TWO DIMENSIONAL COYOTE!

Powers - The list is as follows: The ability to control air, the ability to see other astral planes, and the ability to temporarily buff other heroes' abilities, and has the ability to manipulate light magic.

Animal/Suit - Coyote. Her suit is equipped with other trinkets for Ogura Noriko to use during battle. However, most of them are defective. 

Ogura Noriko trains her magic every day to be able to protect those in need. Some find it rather excessive though.

 

Shishikura Omasu - Wonswolf.

Powers - The ability to repair people's wounds at very quick speeds. The more fatal the injury, the more time consuming and difficult

Animal/Suit - Timber Wolf. His suit is covered in a lot of faux fur to keep him warm, along with additional bandages just in case. He also has a secret button to call Maekawa when needed. 

Shishikura Omasu loves to lay in the snow during the winter whenever he's far from home. It's his favorite pastime. 

Sector 5

Isoda Mion - FIREBALL!

Powers - The ability to shoot any type of fire with their bare hands. Unlike Hama, Isoda has the ability to make fire, instead of being able to control it.  

Animal/Suit - Komodo Dragon. Their tail has the ability to be used as a whip.

Isoda has been trying to learn how to breathe fire ever since they've gotten their suit.

Tei Atushi - To be added

Powers - Super Speed

Animal/Suit - Also Unknown. He cut contact with us two days after he was enrolled.

What was weird about it is that Tsuno didn't do anything.

Akiba Taku - Archerwood

Powers - Super Strength, the ability to control air with his flute.

 
Animal/Suit - Blond Pitbull. Increased Agility and the ability to bite with the mask of his suit. The bite is very strong. I do not recommend testing it on your friends. 

Akiba Taku has tried to bite a tree with his mask to impress Ogura Noriko whist on a mission. He bit right through it. Before the idea, Akiba wanted to test it by biting Ogura's arm. I'm glad he didn't.

Tamba Ruiko - Harpy Hare

Powers - The ability to turn invisible, along with not being able to make a sound once in that state. Her agility helps with her stealth in this scenario

Animal/Suit - Desert Hare. Even without her invisibility, Tamba Ruiko would be able to blend into desert environments, along with increased speed. Unfortunately, she cannot hear as well as The Tangerine Rabbit. 

Hayashi Mai - Crimson Hawk

Powers - Cannot get hurt physically, whether internally or externally, can control sight range, and has enhanced strength. 

Animal/Suit Symbol - Harris's Hawk. Has makeshift wings attached to the arms of her suit. With this, she can create big gusts of wind to blow off enemies, fly, and glide as needed.

She uses her suit as an extra set of armor during her bounty hunts since it is really not that useful. Purple isn't happy with that and has told her to stop numerous times. 

Team Phantom Force

The Villains. Their goal is to take over the world before Yonekura can get her dirty hands on it. 

Team Lead

Okazaki Hanano - The Phantom Thief of Nagoya. 

After Okazaki Hanano and Tsuno Manami escape Kanagawa Futurist Technologies Institute, Okazaki was still watched over and influenced by Kan, which wasn't known to Tsuno. Okazaki did destroy the tracking device, but she was inspired to become the Phantom Thief of Nagoya to combat Tsuno's Organization. She needed help to do so. Only 2 other people work with Okazaki.

She has the ability to use her own blood at will. Along with the ability to not make sound at will. 

Lackeys Accomplices

Phoenix

Met Okazaki through high school. Incredibly bored and not that involved. She accepted the invitation to villany. 
She has the ability to respawn at will. 

ForgerFox

Met Okazaki in order to escape domestic abuse from his father. Is extremely charismatic and sarcastic. 

Has the ability to make things he paints come to fruition, just as long as he touches it. 

The Deserted Predators

A group of loners that chose to stick together in order to stop the government. Due to Yonekura's antics, crimes are on high, meaning the Government is absolutely doing NOTHING about it.  This includes Kumada and Nishiguchi Gangs and Mafia. Because of the crimes, the streets aren't safe, even with NAOJ. Due to how knowledgeable their backgrounds are, Erina and Mutsko strive to keep the crime down in Japan. Sou's there because he wants to help his friends, and learn more about the crime on the streets once they end up inevitably separating.

Kumada Erina - Cougar

The Brawn of the Trio. Her place as a gang leader affects how skilled she is when it comes to leading the group in combat. Her anger does get the best of her sometimes though.

She has the ability to control electricity and focus it on certain objects. Her bat is the main weapon for this. 

Nishiguchi Mutsko - Desert Wolf

The Glue of the Group - Her ability to understand and communicate helps the group out whenever the team starts to argue. Kumada and Sou aren't that fond of each other yet, so Mutsko sometimes has tell them to calm down.

She has the ability to turn any food into a weapon and vice versa. 

Yaitabashi Sou - Spotted Fawn

The brains of the group. His skill in being able to plan accordingly, no matter the situation, has helped the trio a lot when it comes to pinning down and stopping criminal organizations. 

He has the ability to control plants.

Chapter Text

Ah, Japan. The one place in the whole wide world that had the most going on for it as of late. The place where hierarcy, villany, and pain were forged into an amalgamation of its own torment. This place was nothing but an endless void continuing for miles and miles without ever stopping in its place. You’d think there’d be no hope, no mercy, not a single person in this hellhole of a country that would try to fend off this cruelty and bathe in it instead, but that’s where you're wrong. Tsuno Manami, now known as Nagoya’s Arm of Justice, had recently started an organization to combat this issue and stop it once and for all. 

That’s where Nagoya’s Arms of Justice came in. Ever since the group was created, Tsuno had already gotten to work to ensure the place was a little less stressful for the citizens this time around, and it actually started to work! You could sit on the porch of your house and know that you wouldn’t be shot! 

But lately, the crime around here started to increase again, and Akiba knew all too well. Getting kicked out of his own parent’s home, he’d been traveling by foot to make sure that he could survive. He’d seen people getting mugged, jumped, stabbed, shot, even flayed! He never realized how cruel Japan had gotten, thinking that it was just usual. He always thought that it was only to those who were unlucky, and stupid. He believed that he wouldn’t be a victim to any of these crimes.

That was until today. 

He was just walking through his usual route of the alleyway to go and look for jobs before a man appeared from behind the corner.
“EMPTY YOUR POCKETS.” The raggedy man yowled, spit spewing from his face. Akiba faced him, an eyebrow raised. He rolled his eyes before the man shouted again, pointing a sharp dagger at his stomach. “I SAID EMPTY YOUR FUCKING POCKETS!”

When he was met with silence again, the man lunged at Akiba, a crazed expression on his face. Akiba’s first instinct was to run, but it’d do no good in here anyways. So he stood his ground. 

Here goes. 

He took the man’s wrist and twisted it to his back, making the man fall to the ground unarmed. Akiba then got a hard foot to the face, making him fall back, hissing at the injury. The man got up and swiped at the teenager’s stomach, leaving a bright red scar in its place. Covering his stomach, the blonde kicked the man to the nearest wall. He flew through the air, a loud CRACK being heard in the silent alleyway, followed by a loud screech coming from the druggie. Yeesh, he didn’t kick the man that hard! He’s just overreacting! He couldn’t be that fragile to even deal with a simple kick, right? He walked over to see if the man was bluffing.

Holy shit..  Froth was coming out of the man’s mouth like a rabid raccoon, and his eyes were rolled to the back of his skull! And  as if things didn’t get any worse, he could hear someone starting to approach him from behind! Footsteps turned to quiet pats on the concrete floor, followed by twitching. He turned around, fists up, nose bloodied, ready to throw hands with whoever was going to get a piece of Taku.

What met him was a black rabbit. Akiba let his guard down for just a moment in confusion, until it stepped closer, its eyes glowing red. Akiba jumped back, ready to punt the thing into next week when it started to speak?

“ Hello, Akiba Taku.” The rabbit greeted, bowing down on its forepaws. Stunned silence came from the injured boy in front of it as the rabbit continued.
“ You have been selected to join Nagoya’s Arms of Justice, or N.A.O.J., since your performance has shown that you have acquired supernatural abilities." 

A white card appeared out of thin air.

“If you would like to join, please return to this location with the paper I’ve given you in the evening. I will take you to the headquarters for you to get assessed."

“Huh?” Okay, now Akiba was perplexed. Did drugs get into his nose while fighting the guy or something?

“Goodbye.” Just as he was about to ask questions, the thing just vanished! 

What.. the fuck!?

He took the paper off the ground and gave it a closer look. It was a real small card, Akiba had to fold it with the tips of his fingers in order for it not to crumple at his weight. “Nagoya’s Arms of Justice Admission Card was shown in evergreen print, a pitbull logo shown underneath the text. Huh, pretty chic if you ask him. He didn’t have pockets so he chose the next best thing, to use his necklace! He first took it off carefully, detaching the connected pieces of metal so he could figure out how to leave it around his neck. Fortunately for him, there was a big hole in the middle of the card for him to loop the hole through, so he did! He put the necklace back on his neck andd.. Done! Now he didn’t even have to worry about the thing falling off or getting stolen.

Now he had to wait..
