Every flower, blade of grass 

Every tree on the horizon vast

 

Every star and firefly

Every night, the moon lights the sky

 

Every lake that's calm and clear

Every animal you cannot hear

 

Every traveler looking high

Every cloud that passes by

 

Every family sound asleep

Every alleyway among the heap

 

Every time the air bites cold

Every man with his stories told

 

Every ring set for the bride

Every man with a smile so wide
