The episode started in the living room, where Cinder Slippers, Sunny Side Up, and Berry Jars 'N' Jam were watching a video of Spot Splatter Splash making iceberg slime. "So, I guess that's all. It also looks a bit pearly. Okay, so I hope you guys enjoyed my Iceberg Slime," Spot said in the video. "Wow! She's good at making slime!" Berry said as she watched the video. "I know! Iceberg slime! That's so cool!" Sunny said as she watched. "What? Spot has made fluffy slime, butter slime, iceberg slime, floam slime, and bubblegum slime!" Cinder said as she looked at the playlist of Spot's videos. "That's a lot of slime!" Berry said. "Why don't you make slime videos too, Cinder?" Sunny asked. "At least it's not the kind that goes all over me. You're right, I should, but I need to do something different. Something like-" Cinder answered.
"Chocolate milk slime?" Berry asked. "No, something like-" Cinder answered. "Ice cream slime?" Sunny asked, interrupting again. "No! Like-" Cinder said. "Umm, umm, like-" Sunny and Berry said. "Would you let me finish?" Cinder asked. "Mango, Cinder's yelling at us again!" Sunny called out loud. "I was thinking, the 3 AM slime challenge," Cinder said. "3 AM?" Berry asked. "Yeah! You have to get up at 3:00 in the morning to make slime!" Cinder answered. "What's so good about that?" Berry asked. "It's supposed to be scary," Cinder answered. "Scary?" Sunny and Berry asked. "Yippee! We like scary!" Sunny said. "Yeah! Sunny and I don't get scared!" Berry said. "Great! One of you can video me making the slime!" Cinder said. "Okay! I'm pretty sure Mango will let us do it!" Sunny said.
"No way," Mango Tiki Wiki said. "What?" Cinder, Sunny, and Berry asked. "There is no way you're getting up at 3:00 in the morning to make some silly slime," Mango answered. "But it's for my YouTube channel," Cinder said. "Yeah! It's for her YouTube channel!" Berry added. "Doesn't matter. You've got chores to do in the morning, and the twins gotta do some farm stuff, so it's a no from me," Mango said. "And it's a no from me too," Patch Treasurechest added. "Patch!" Sunny and Berry said. "Sorry, girls," Patch said, as the three Lalaloopsies left the scene. "I'm not very happy with Mango and Patch," Sunny said as they left. "We can hear you!" Mango said. "I'm not very happy with Mango and Patch," Sunny whispered. "We can still hear you!" Mango said.
At 2:55 AM, Berry was up, while Sunny and Cinder were still asleep. "Cinder, wake up! Sunny, it's nearly 3:00 in the morning!" Berry said. "W-what?" Cinder asked. "It's time to make slime!" Berry answered. "Berry, why are you awake?" Cinder asked. "I stayed up all night waiting for 3:00 in the morning," Berry answered. "Really?" Sunny and Cinder asked. "Yeah, come on!" Berry answered. "But Mango said we're not allowed to make slime at 3:00 in the morning," Cinder said. "It'll be okay. We just have to be quiet," Berry said. "Great idea! Can we, Cinder?" Sunny asked. "Well, we could get in trouble, but... alright, let's do it!" Cinder answered. "Hooray!" Sunny and Berry said out loud. "Shhh!" Cinder said, reminding them to be quiet. "Hooray!" Sunny and Berry said quietly.
Sunny, Berry, and Cinder got out of bed and into a dark area of the bedroom. "It's very dark here," Berry said. "Where's the light switch?" Cinder asked. "Hey, who pushed me? Who was that?" Sunny asked, as she then fell to the floor. "Aaah! Someone's got me! Help!" Berry said, as it was revealed Sunny's fall pinned Berry to the ground. Cinder turned the lights on as she shushed them. "Berry, it's just Sunny," Cinder said quietly. "Oh, whew," Berry said. "I thought you two wouldn't get scared," Cinder said. Cinder got all the slime making supplies, which included shaving cream, some sort of solution, corn starch, some sort of powder to form the slime, Elmer's school glue, and a big yellow bowl to put everything in, and then the three headed on over to the kitchen.
"You got everything, Cinder?" Sunny asked. "I think so. Here's the camera, Berry. Can you video me?" Cinder asked as she handed Berry a camera. "Sure!" Berry answered as she grabbed the camera. "And Sunny can help!" Cinder said. "Aww, not fair! Sunny gets to be in the video!" Berry said. "So what slime are we making, Cinder?" Sunny asked. "I was thinking butter slime. I haven't made that one before," Cinder answered. "Great idea! Butter slime at 3:00 in the morning!" Berry said, as she was about to leave. "Where are you going, Berry?" Cinder asked. "To get butter, silly. How else do we make butter slime?" Berry asked. "Oh, Berry, come back here!" Cinder said. "Alright, Berry, are you ready?" Cinder asked. "Ready!" Berry answered.
"Okay, point the camera to the clock so everyone can see that it's 3:00 in the morning," Cinder said. Berry focused the camera on the clock on the wall, which showed it was 3:01. "Done!" Berry said. "And back to me," Cinder said, as Berry turned the camera back to her, and started recording. "Hi, everyone! Welcome back to my YouTube channel, Cheeky Cinder! I'm about to do the 3 AM slime challenge with Sunny Side Up right here! Say hi, Sunny!" Cinder said. "Hi, everyone!" Sunny said out loud as she waved. "Shhh!" Cinder told Sunny. "Alright, we're going to be making Butter Slime, so let's get straight to it! The first ingredient we need is glue. Sunny, could you please pass the PVA glue?" Cinder asked. "Sure! Here you go!" Sunny answered, as she handed Cinder the bottle of Elmer's glue, but ended up dropping it on the floor. "Oops!" Sunny said. "Sunny!" Cinder said.
Meanwhile, Mango and Patch were asleep in their bed. "What was that? Patch, did you hear that?" Mango asked. "Mmm," Patch answered, still asleep. "Next, we're going to need some corn starch, a good squirt of shaving cream, and-" Cinder said from the other room, as Mango could hear. "What is going on down there?" Mango asked, as she got up, and went downstairs to go check. "Now we just need to add a little bit of the yellow color to make it look like butter, and then mix everything together," Cinder said as they were making the slime, as Mango went down to see. "I can't believe they're making slime after I told them not to!" Mango whispered. "It's not scary making slime at 3:00 in the morning," Sunny said, with buttery yellow splotches on her and Cinder. "You're right, Sunny, it's not scary at all," Cinder said. "Not scary, eh? We'll see about that!" Mango whispered, getting an idea.
Berry fell asleep on the table while still holding the camera. "Where was I? Berry, what are you doing?" Cinder asked. Berry didn't answer as she was still sleeping. "I think she's sleeping," Berry answered. "Great, now my video is ruined! Now what-" Cinder said, as Mango turned off the lights. "Hey!" Sunny and Cinder said. "Who turned out the lights?" Berry asked as she got up, and Mango turned the lights back on. "Whew, they're back!" Cinder said. Mango turned the lights off again. "Hey!" Berry and Cinder said. "Not again!" Sunny added. Mango then started flickering the lights, like Nosferatu from the SpongeBob episode, Graveyard Shift. "Stop it!" Berry said. "Umm, now I'm a little bit scared," Sunny said. "It's nothing. Probably something wrong with-" Cinder said.
Mango then made some ghost noises to make things even more scary. "Okay, what was that?" Cinder asked. Mango turned the lights off again, which scared everyone. The TV turned on by itself and started flipping through channels, then turned back off and the lights turned back on. "What is going on?" Cinder asked. "I'm coming over with you girls!" Berry said as she approached Cinder and Sunny, as the lights turned off again. "Please, lights, please turn back on!" Sunny said. Mango turned the lights back on, and it turns out the slime disappeared from the table. "Where's the slime gone?" Cinder asked. "I don't like the 3 AM challenge!" Berry said, as Mango turned the lights back off again, causing the three to scream. Mango turned the lights back on, and the slime reappeared. "What? The slime! It's back!" Cinder said.
"That's it! I'm going back to bed!" Sunny said. "Me too! I'm scared!" Berry added. "Well, maybe you shouldn't be out of bed!" Mango said as she showed up in front of the three Lalaloopsies, scaring them and causing them to fall. "Oh, great, I told you two to be quiet!" Cinder told Sunny and Berry. "Put the slime on a plate, Cinder, then all of you up to bed! We'll talk about this in the morning!" Mango told Berry, Cinder, and Sunny. Cinder put the butter slime that was made on a plate, and then the three headed out of the kitchen and back to bed.
The next morning, Berry, Cinder, and Sunny were still in bed. "Come on, girls, out of bed," Mango told the Lalaloopsies. "I'm too tired," Cinder said. "Me too!" Sunny and Berry added. "It's your fault that you're all tired! Up you get! That will teach you not to get up like that again!" Mango told the three. "Don't worry, Mango, I'll never get up at 3:00 in the morning again!" Sunny said. "No way! Never, never, never again!" Berry added. Patch then saw the butter slime in a bowl. "Hey, who left the butter out again?" Patch asked. Patch ended up spreading some of the butter slime on a piece of toast, and then ate up. "Hmm, this doesn't taste good at all! Mango, don't use the butter! It does not taste the best!" Patch said out loud. Patch went to the bathroom to go spit the slime out so he won't get sick or anything, and to wash his mouth out with water, as this crazy slime making Lalaloopsy adventure ended right here.
