Work Text:

Shotaro crouched down, trying to lean his phone up against a small stick on the ground.“Sungchan, do you want to be in the video?” Shotaro asked, setting his phone up on the ground to film himself.

“I haven’t learned the dance, so I’ll just sit this one out,” Sungchan responded, walking off to the side.

“I can teach you if you want,” Shotaro offered, fiddling with his phone.

“No, I’m fine,” Sungchan responded.

“All right, I am starting filming now,” Shotaro said, turning on his camera to film.

Once the video began, Shotaro took a couple of steps back and began to film himself doing a viral TikTok dance. Getting in the zone, Shotaro tried to tune Sungchan out, focusing solely on footwork as he danced on the snowy ground. “Don’t fall,” Sungchan shrieked, jumping out from the side, trying to scare Shotaro.

“Ack!” Shotaro shrieked, startling. Losing focus, Shotaro turned to look at Sungchan, who was doubled over from laughter. “Chanie, what was that?” Shotaro asked.

“Nothing,” Sungchan giggled.

“Alright, stay quiet this time,” Shotaro warned.

“I will, I will,” Sungchan promised, holding his hands in surrender.

Nodding Shotaro hurried over to his phone, restarting the video. Starting from the beginning, Shotaro began the dance again, focusing on the TikTok challenge. Halfway through, Shotaro heard Sungchan shriek, but, figuring it was Sungchan trying to distract him again, Shotaro ignored him, finishing up the dance.

Finishing the TikTok dance, Shotaro struck a pose before rushing over to turn off the video. Not bothering to check the footage, Shotaro sent it to his manager for approval to post.

“All done,” Shotaro announced.

“Wait, was I in the video?” Sungchan asked.

“I don’t know, I didn’t check. I sent it to our manager, so if there is anything bad, he’ll fix it. So don’t worry about it,” Shotaro assured, slipping his phone into his pocket.

“Alright,” Sungchan shrugged, wanting to move on to their date.

“Don’t worry about it. Let’s go on our date now. Practice is supposed to start in a little over an hour,” Shotaro said.

“Let’s,” Sungchan agreed, offering his hand to Shotaro.

Shotaro reached out and happily grabbed Sungchan’s hand. The couple happily made their way out of the park, forgetting about the video.

Finishing off the last of their breakfast, Shotaro felt his phone ding. Quickly checking his phone, Shotaro saw that his manager had texted, ‘Just posted the video on TikTok, and I’ll post it on YouTube shortly. I thought it was funny.’

Confused, Shotaro furrowed his brows. There wasn’t anything funny in the TikTok he had sent. “Baby, what’s wrong?” Sungchan asked, pulling Shotaro out of his confusion.

“Oh, nothing. We should head to practice now,” Shotaro responded, shoving his phone into his pocket.

“I don’t want to,” Sungchan dramatically whined.

“You don’t have a choice. We have a performance tomorrow,” Shotaro responded, standing up from the table and gathering his belongings.

“Fine,” Sungchan pretended to sulk as he began packing up his stuff.

Arriving at the practice room, Sungchan and Shotaro walked into the room. Shotaro quickly broke off to talk with Wonbin while Sungchan grunted in greeting before heading off to the side. Sungchan dropped his bag on the floor and began digging through it looking for his water bottle. Already settled, Sohee cheerfully made his way over to Sungchan. “So Hyungs, I saw the video and-” Sohee started, before falling into a fit of giggles.

“What video?” Sungchan asked, looking up at Sungchan in confusion.

“Taro hyung’s TikTok,” Sohee responded, gleefully.

“Was something wrong with it? Did I do the dance wrong?” Shotaro asked, whipping his head around to listen in on the conversation.

“No, it’s Sungchan,” Eunseok chimed in.

“Huh?” Shotaro asked, tilting his head in confusion.

“Watch,” Sohee said, pulling out his phone.

The six members all came over, crowding around Sohee as he pulled up Shotaro’s recent TikTok. Everything seemed normal with Shotaro doing the dance challenge until about halfway through. Shotaro didn’t pause the dance at any point; however, halfway through, Sungchan suddenly appeared in the background. He made a face at the camera and took a step toward Hsotaro when he suddenly slipped on a small patch of ice. He let out a small squeak and rapidly windmilled his arms, trying to regain his balance. Sungchan’s flailing lasted for about ten seconds before he vanished off-screen again.

Watching Sungchan flail around on screen, the members couldn’t help but giggle at how ridiculous Sungchan looked.

“Hyung, why did you post this?” Sungchan whined, bringing his hands up to cover his rapidly reddening face in embarrassment.

“I didn’t know you slipped,” Shotaro giggled.

“Everyone saw me slip. Just look at the comments,” Sungchan whined, pointing at the TikTok comments section, which was full of comments about Sungchan flailing.

“My poor baby,” Shotaro cooed, patting Sungchan’s arm in faux sympathy.

“I need retribution,” Sungchan demanded with a pout.

“Oh?” Shotaro asked, raising his eyebrow.

“Mhm,” Sungchan nodded.

“And what will it be?” Shotaro asked,

“I need you to kiss it better,” Sungchan said, nodding his head with a faux serious expression.

“Of course,” Shotaro agreed, leaning up to kiss Sungchan.

Sungchan leaned down eagerly, kissing back. Forgetting that the other members were there, the two quickly deepened the kiss. Sungchan went to move his hand down Shotaro’s back when he was interrupted by loud gagging noises. Pulling back, Sungchan and Shotaro were met with the exaggerated disgust of their members.

“Ew hyungs,” Sohee shrieked, exaggeratedly bringing his hands up to cover his eyes.

“We are still here, go make out somewhere else,” Wonbin said, pointing at the practice room door.

“We will,” Sungchan huffed, reaching out for Shotaro’s hand.

“Sungchan! We have a schedule,” Shotaro scolded, his cheeks flushed with embarrassment as he weakly batted away Sungchan’s hands.

“I guess,” Sungchan sighed.

“We can make out later,” Shotaro promised.

“Hyungs, can I stay with you tonight?” Anton asked, not wanting to be around when the couple inevitably started making out at their dorms.

“Yeah,” Eunseok agreed.
