The episode started at Peanut Big Top's circus tent, where she was watering a flower on a window on the second floor of the tent. "Have you met Peanut Big Top, the clumsiest doll in Lalaloopsy Land?" I narrated, as Peanut ended up knocking her flower off the windowsill, causing it to land on the ground and the pot to break. Vincent was visiting Lalaloopsy Land, and biked by Peanut's circus tent and left her a note underneath the tent. Peanut ended up falling down the stairs, but wasn't terribly hurt, and went to go check the letter that was sent to her. "Goodness me! I've been chosen to compete in The Brains and the Brawn!" Peanut said after reading her letter. Looks like Peanut is about to be the star of the Brains and the Brawn game show!
The scene then cut to inside 43 Times 24 Plus One Studios, where the Brains and the Brawn game show was being held. Harmony B. Sharp went up on the stage to host the show. "Good evening to you all out there! Thank you for such an excellent turnout for our legendary program, the, the, the..." Harmony announced. "Brains and the Brawn!" the audience all said out loud. "When the curtain goes up, you will discover our first contestant," Harmony said, as the curtain went up, and up on stage was a contestant covered in a purple sparkly blanket. The audience cheered as Harmony pulled off the blanket to reveal Peanut as the first contestant. "Now, will our contestant be the brains or the brawn? Fate will decide! Heads, the brain, tails, the brawn, it's your move, Peanut Big Top!" Harmony said, as she tossed a penny in the air.
Peanut attempted to pick up the penny, but ended up tripping and falling off the stage, and into the empty seat in the audience. The penny spun around and stopped near Harmony, as she went to pick it up and see the result. "Tails! The brawn! That's a good start, because our contestant, Peanut Big Top, is clearly a real acrobat!" Harmony said, as the audience cheered for Peanut, while Peanut was not very sure about this. Peanut then walked back on the stage. "And our hero is back! Peanut, now we're going to draw lots to see who will be the, the, the..." Harmony announced. "The brain! The brain! The brain!" the audience all said out loud. Looks like Cinder Slippers and Confetti Carnivale came along to watch the show too. "Looks like old Peanut is going to come a cropper, Confetti," Cinder said. "Yes, Cinder," Confetti said as she winked.
"Ladies and gentlemen, simply pop your names in this hat, which will be passed amongst you, if you would like to stand for the brains!" Harmony said, as she gave the hat to the audience. Specs Reads-a-Lot, Mango Tiki Wiki, and Forest Evergreen put their names in the hat, but once the hat was passed to Twirly Figure Eight, she politely declined. "No, it's alright, thank you, I already have a hat," Twirly said as she pointed to her blue hat on her head. Meanwhile, Confetti was writing something on a bunch of slips of paper. "What are you up to, Confetti?" Cinder asked. "I've written Twirly Figure Eight's name on every bit of paper," Confetti answered, as she dumped out all the names the audience put in the hat, and put in all the papers with Twirly's name on them. Cinder then handed the hat back to Harmony.
"Now, you can draw your partner's name!" Harmony said, as she handed Peanut the hat. Peanut drew a name from the hat, and the bottom of the hat ended up ripping open, but Peanut managed to get one slip of paper out of there. "And Peanut's partner, who will be the brains this evening, is Twirly Figure Eight!" Harmony announced, as the audience cheered for Twirly. "Come up and join us on the podium, Twirly!" Harmony said. "Huh? But I didn't do anything," Twirly said as she looked around. "Not yet! Come upon a podium, Twirly!" Harmony said. Twirly reluctantly made her way over to the podium, as the audience cheered for her. "Twirly! Twirly! Twirly!" the audience chanted out loud. And now, it was time for the Brains and the Brawn game show to begin.
Peanut and Twirly were both on the stage with Harmony. "The Brains and the Brawn! Here they are!" Harmony announced, as they took their seats and the audience cheered. On the curtain, a picture of Specs represented the brains, and a picture of Forest represented the brawn. "First question for the brains, is the moon round or square? Quiet, please, no whispering," Harmony asked. "Uh, well, it's r-r-" Twirly tried to say. "You're nearly there! R-rou-" Harmony said. "Uh, square?" Twirly asked. "Wrong!" Harmony said, as the audience booed. "Peanut, your reply?" Harmony asked. "Round," Peanut confidently answered. "Correct, but it's your partner who should've said it!" Harmony said. Since Twirly got the answer wrong, Peanut, the brawn, now has a challenge to do, involving cakes.
"Ladies and gentlemen, to make up for Twirly's wrong answer, Peanut will now climb up the mast and bring down a plate of cakes!" Harmony announced, as Peanut walked over to the mast with cakes at the top. "Come on! You can do it, Peanut!" random audience members said as Peanut climbed up the mast and reached the cakes. As Peanut reached the cakes, she ended up tripping and flinging all nine cakes off the plate, and one of them ended up falling on Confetti, as Cinder just laughed at her. Another cake ended up landing on Cinder, as the both tried to wipe themselves clean. "Zero for the brains, zero for the brawn," Harmony announced. "Second question for Twirly, two plus two is..." Harmony said. "Uhh, three?" Twirly answered, as the audience booed. Because Twirly got another wrong answer, Peanut must do another challenge.
"And now, Peanut will take part in the water test!" Harmony announced, as the curtain pulled up to reveal an inflatable pool full of water, with a ladder sticking out of it. "The water test! The water test!" the audience chanted. "Do you know how to swim, Peanut?" Harmony asked. "Uh, a little," Peanut answered. "Perfect!" Harmony answered, as she pulled out a penny. "You see this penny, ladies and gentlemen? When I throw it in the pool, Peanut will go and get it!" Harmony said. Harmony tossed the penny in the pool, and Peanut went in the pool to try and find the coin. Peanut found the inflator valve, thinking it's the coin, and pulled it out, causing the pool to deflate and water to spill everywhere. "Thanks to the Brains and the Brawn, everything is going smoothly!" Harmony said, as she got washed away by the wave when saying that last word. "Uh, do we have to come back for the next round?" Twirly asked Peanut, as this crazy little Lalaloopsy game show ended right here.
