Mall

Summary:

The tides of an upcoming escalator prove no match for a downwardly directed Cinder Slippers; Spot Splatter Splash's dye shop is a colorful success; and Trouble Dusty Trails learns the perils of vibrating furniture. (#_LFW10)

Notes:

Inspired by the Mr. Men Show Mall episode, which premiered on February 4, 2008. This was fun to put together, and here, we get to see all the different stores that Whiskview Mall has to offer, and how the Lalaloopsies go about in them. So much happened in these stores, when there's Lalaloopsies around or working the places!

Enjoy this fun and crazy Lalaloopsy mall adventure I put together!

Work Text:

The episode started at Whiskview Mall, where Bea Spells-a-Lot and Sherri Charades were going down an escalator, Allegra Leaps 'N' Bounds and Jewel Sparkles walked around, and Forest Evergreen was the security guard. "Ah, Whiskview Mall, a place where the Lalaloopsy dolls spend many a pleasant hour shopping," I narrated, as puppies were shown licking Jewel's shoes, as Jewel struggled to tolerate them. "Need a cape that matches your hair? The mall has it," I narrated, as Dyna Might was shown with a green cape that matches her hair. "Craving a custom made pie from Papa's Bakeria? The mall has it all," I narrated, as Spot Splatter Splash ate up her pie slice messily. "In fact, at the mall, they'll even let you play in the fountain. Who could ask for anything more?" I narrated, as Dot Starlight was shown playing in the mall's fountain.

The first segment started at Shoe-Fly Co, where Dot Starlight was working for the day, and Bouncer Fluffy Tail showed up as the first customer. "Hello, Bouncer, may I help you?" Dot asked. "Yes, Dot, I'd like to see these in a size six, please," Bouncer answered, as she brought in a cowboy boot. "Coming right up!" Dot said as she started knitting a sock instead. "Uh, Dot?" Bouncer asked. "Yes?" Dot asked, as she put her knitting away. "You were finding me these in a size six," Bouncer answered as she showed the cowboy boot again. "Oh, ha ha ha! Where is my head?" Dot asked, as she went to look for some size six boots, but all she could find were size six scuba flippers, which she brought to Bouncer. "Here you go!" Dot said. "Uh, those are scuba flippers," Bouncer said. "And the last size six we have in stock!" Dot said as she giggled.

"They're very nice, but I'd really like a pair of these boots," Bouncer said as she showed the cowboy boot again. "Oh, well, why didn't you say so?" Dot asked, as she walked away to look for these boots, but instead gave Bouncer two ukuleles. "Here you go!" Dot said. "But those are ukuleles," Bouncer said. "Size six!" Dot said, as she handed them over to Bouncer, and Bouncer actually put them on like shoes. "How do they feel?" Dot asked. "Well, like ukuleles, which I never learned to play, especially with my toes. I'd really, really like to see these bo-" Bouncer answered, as she then slipped and ended up bouncing out of Shoe-Fly Co, as Dot watched. "Bouncer, will you be needing socks with those?" Dot asked. Bouncer just bounced around the place, as Berry Jars 'N' Jam and Scribbles Splash flew a helicopter to transition to the first bumper. In the first bumper, Rosy Bumps 'N' Bruises went to the photo booth, which took three photos that scared her and caused her to run away, as the photos showed that Scraps Stitched 'N' Sewn scared Rosy.

Next up was Twizzy's, as Jewel Sparkles was looking at all the hair dye options the place had. Of course, Spot was the one working there due to all the colorful options. "Hello there, Jewel, thanks for stopping by Twizzy's!" Spot said. "Oh, this is your establishment, Spot?" Jewel asked. "Usually, Kaleb is the one working here, but I'm taking over for him today. Try a free sample!" Spot said, as she ended up spilling some dye on the floor. "Shazam! Don't worry, just a little dirt!" Spot said as she tried to wipe the dust off the dye, getting her hands messy in the process. "Good as new! Here! Try it out!" Spot said. "Thank you, but no," Jewel said. "Oh, come on, Jewel, try a new color! It'd look great on you!" Spot said. "Actually, I like my hair completely the way it is, and I can't help but notice you're out of other hair accessories," Jewel said, quoting the title of a Charlie and Lola episode that a season 4 episode reenacted.

"You're in luck! I dropped a couple of hair accessories in the neon dye vat, just last week!" Spot said as she dug up some tiaras and other hair accessories soaked in what appears to be highlighter fluid. Spot brought out a neon green tiara that's still wet. "Go ahead, tell me what you think!" Spot said. Jewel took the green tiara, and was about to put it in her hair, but instead tossed it away. "Oops! Clumsy me! Oh, look at the time! Better run! I'm meeting... Mango Tiki Wiki at Fuzzy Friends Pet Shop!" Jewel said as she was about to leave. "Take this jar of Nuked Green hair dye, will you? Mango loves this color," Spot said as she brought the jar out. "Eww! This jar is overflowing!" Jewel said as she saw the overflowing jar of hair dye.

"Thank you, Jewel! If you like that, you'll love this!" Spot said, as she brought in a jar of neon yellow hair dye. "The color is called Highlighter! See?" Spot asked, as she put it on her hair to make it bright yellow, as a splatter of it got on Jewel, which grossed her out, causing Jewel to run out of the store. Spot showed off her new look with bright yellow hair that she dyed all by herself. "Mm-hmm! Perfect!" Spot said as she showed it off. Scribbles and Berry popped up on the screen, then Berry got her face close to the screen and slid off to transition to the next bumper. In the second bumper, Pillow Featherbed entered the photo booth, and three pictures were taken of Pillow snoring, with her face not even being in the third one.

Before the next scene, the music video for Loopsy Land Dance Floor started. "You know you wanna, but your hips won't shake it's like, your wiggle's on a permanent break!" Peanut Big Top sang, with Spot singing those last two words. "The beat is jammin', you got something to prove, don't be a Furry Grrs-a-Lot, now let's move to the groove!" Peanut sang, with Spot singing the last part. "The beat is hot and this is the spot, come on and get down on the Loopsy Land Dance Floor!" Peanut, Squirt Lil Top, and Sunny Side Up all sang as they went across the screen. "Don't be a chump and sit like a lump, come on and get down on the Loopsy Land Dance Floor!" Peanut, Bea, Sunny, and Dot sang as they all danced, and Furry was still grumpy looking at them all dancing.

"You know you wanna, but you can't move your feet," Peanut sang, with Spot singing the last part, as Dot was shown playing the synthesizer. "You wanna get down with the get down but you can't find the beat," Dot sang, with Spot singing the last part. "The rhythm moves you, but you seem to refuse, don't be a Furry Grrs-a-Lot, now let's move to the groove!" Peanut sang, as Furry was shown trying to hide from the groove.

"Snap your fingers, tap toes to the beat, now give it to the music and shake your feet, the rhythm's got you and you can't refuse!" Spot sang fast, as Furry was shown on a starry background, smiling and doing the moves Spot described. "Don't be a Furry Grrs-a-Lot, now you know what to do!" Dot sang, as Furry continued dancing. "The beat is hot and this is the spot, come on and get down on the Loopsy Land Dance Floor!" Peanut sang, as Spot was shown playing her electric guitar and Dot was shown playing her synthesizer, then the words "Loopsy Land Dance Floor" appeared on the screen as Peanut sang the words, and the music video ended right there.

Furry Grrs-a-Lot stepped right up on an escalator, as Cinder Slippers attempted to walk down the escalator that is going up, and Furry noticed Cinder on there. "Wake up, Cinder, you're on the wrong escalator!" Furry told Cinder. "No, I am not! As you can see, Furry, I am clearly going down!" Cinder said. "But the escalator is clearly going up!" Furry said, as Bea went up the escalator and got stopped by the two. "Excuse me, Cinder, but I can't help noticing you're going in the wrong direction," Bea told Cinder. "No, I am not, Bea! I'm on my way down!" Cinder said. "But I was voted 'most likely to go in the right direction' and scored really high on my ups and downs, and I'm telling you, the escalator is going up!" Bea said, as Allegra went up the escalator too. "Get out of my way! Move!" Allegra said.

"Great McGillicuddy!" Scribbles said as she got stuck too due to all the Lalaloopsies on there. "Excuse me, pardon me!" Dot, wearing her scuba gear, said as she stepped up as well. This led to all the Lalaloopsies bumping into each other because Cinder wouldn't admit she was on the wrong escalator. "Move it or lose it!" Allegra said. "Crooked cucumbers! Let me pass!" Furry told Cinder. "No! Let me pass!" Cinder told Furry. Bouncer continued bouncing around, and ended up knocking all the Lalaloopsies stuck on the escalator down, slowing down the escalator and making her finally able to walk down. "See? I told you I was going down," Cinder said as she walked down, as the other Lalaloopsies, all dazed, looked at Cinder going down. In the third bumper, Dot, in her scuba gear, got in the photo booth, and in the pictures, the photo booth somehow filled up with water, leading to Dot swimming away.

The next scene was the robot shop, operated by Feather Tell-a-Tale, and Pillow was the first customer. "Hello, Pillow, welcome to Feather's Robots, Robots, and Robots!" Feather said. "Got any robots? I need one for housework, garden work, and anything with the word work," Pillow asked. "Then you want the Z-35. You simply press a button-" Feather said, as she pointed to the button on the Z-35. "Push a button? Too much work," Pillow said. "Okay, then you need the _-36. You just speak and he does what you say. Show him your stuff, _-36!" Feather said, as she tickled the robot for it to come to Pillow, and turns out the _-36 can do all sorts of cleaning tasks, including brushing Pillow's teeth for her. "I'll take him," Pillow said, as she showed off her shiny teeth.

"After you make me some chips and a dip, you can make my bed and wash my hat," Pillow told the _-36. "I like your hammock!" the _-36 said as he laid on Pillow's hammock. "What are you doing? That's my hammock! My rear end made that dent!" Pillow said as she saw the rear end impression on the hammock. "You're supposed to be working for me," Pillow told the _-36. "Very well! Pass me the remote!" the _-36 said, as he took the remote from Pillow and sat down. "You don't watch TV. I do," Pillow said, as the robot took a bite out of the remote. "What kind of robot are you?" Pillow asked. "A thirsty one. Do you have any oil?" the _-36 asked. Pillow realized her _-36 robot was defective, as it's asking her to do all the work, and brought the robot back to the store.

"This robot is broken," Pillow said as she brought _-36 back to the store. "The _-36 is broken? What did you do to him?" Feather asked. "Nothing. He didn't do anything, so I say he's lazy!" Pillow answered. "There's no need to call anyone names," Feather said. "I'd like my money back," Pillow said. "I know what the problem is! You need a tickle!" Feather told Pillow. "No, no, I want my money back!" Pillow told Feather. "Come on, gang, let's tickle!" Feather said, as the army of robots, including the V-31 from the Toy Robot episode, went over to Pillow to tickle her. "Must tickle! Must tickle!" the robots all said together. "Stop that!" Pillow said as she giggled. In the fourth bumper, Dyna Might got in the photo booth, the booth took off like a rocket, and three photos were taken of her going to the moon and placing the Lalaloopsy Land flag on it.

Trouble Dusty Trails was looking at a yellow chair, as Mango Tiki Wiki approached. "Hey there, Trouble, care to give it a try?" Mango asked. "Oh no, I don't think so, Mango," Trouble answered. "You must. The Sleepy Time Relax-o-matic Vibrating Chair isn't just any chair, it's 1,000 vibrating fingers that melt away your tension! Go ahead, sit down and relax!" Mango said, as she buckled Trouble right into the chair. Mango pressed the button, and the chair got to work, and it was all working fine at first. "I say, this is wonderful!" Trouble said. "Five minutes in this chair and you will be completely relaxed!" Mango said, as she left the scene. "Nice! Ooh, I wonder what this button does?" Trouble asked, as she noticed a red button under her hand. Trouble pressed that red button, which caused the chair to start shaking out of control.

"Oh, whoa! Help, Mango! Oooh!" Trouble said as the chair rumbled and moved away from the area on its own, while Trouble was still buckled in tightly. Looks like Mango forgot to tell Trouble something. "Oh, dear, did I forget to tell her not to push the red button?" Mango asked. As the chair rattled on its own, it ended up going to Costume Morgue, which dressed Trouble up in a pirate costume as the chair went through the shelves. As the chair exited Costume Morgue, Bouncer bounced in and out of the way, and the chair was headed for Fuzzy Friends Pet Shop. "Not the pet shop!" Trouble said as she noticed where the chair was going. As the chair went there, two birds and two poodles came out, then the chair went for Papa's Bakeria. "Bakery! Thank you, Peanut!" Trouble said, as Peanut Big Top let her in the Bakeria. Trouble ended up picking up four pies from there, then the chair finally stopped, causing her to drop the pies. "What a calamity," Trouble said, as she ended up picking up Patch's parrot. "Hello," Patch's parrot said as Trouble got out of the chair. "Trouble, what about the chair? I'll give you a discount, what do you say?" Mango asked. "Keep the chair," Patch's parrot answered. "What he said," Trouble added.

"And so another happy day spent shopping comes to a close," I narrated, as Bea and Sherri were shown riding down the escalator, a plant fell on Peanut's head, Allegra picked up her bags, Dyna flew by, and Dot was still swimming in the fountain. "You know it's time to leave the mall when you can't carry another thing, especially hair dye," I narrated, as Jewel Sparkles was shown bringing her things she brought, but ended up slipping on the green hair dye puddle, causing her to fall down in it and drop her stuff, getting her all messy, but at least she wasn't terribly hurt, as this crazy Lalaloopsy adventure taking place in Whiskview Mall ends here.
