Summary:

These group of friends have been close to one another for years. Since they were in elementary all the way to their senior year of highschool is how long they've been friends. Many would wonder how the group stayed friends for so long despite the many arguements that would ensue (courtesy of eric), but at the end of the day, they all had a bond with one another that started getting stronger around middle school and then solidifed in highschool. With them having one more month of school before graduating they realize there could be more to their friendship.

Notes:

Many teased them about how close they are but they don't pay any mind to it. After all, none of them had any feelings for each other and knew that they're just friends. At least, before each of them started to notice things about one another...things that made them realize they may like each other more than just a friend. Each of them had experiences with one another that made them realize there's a possibility that they're maybe, most likely, definitely, into men. Specifically, each other.

Chapter 1: Stans Awakenings

Chapter Text

Stan and his experience with Kyle

Stan and Kyle had just dropped off Eric and Kenny at their respective houses and was now standing in front of Stan's.

"I guess I'll see you tomorrow." Right when Kyle turns to continue his walk Stan grabs his arm to stop him.

"Wait dude! Before you leave, come and play a couple rounds of Fortnight?" Kyle makes eye contact with the hand that's grabbing him before slowly trailing his vision to look at Stan. Stan notices Kyle's gaze and lets go quickly. He feels his face flush for some reason. Must be the cold.

"Hmm...I guess? It has to only be a couple rounds though because I have to study for that math test we have coming up."

"Math test? Are you talking about the one that's in two weeks??"

"What dude?! The teacher told us that the test is going to be really hard and may make or break our overall grade in the class!"

Stan huffs in exasperation and rolls his eyes. "Whatever dude. Lets just go inside already. It's too cold to be standing out here like this." They walk inside Stan's house and get immediately greeted by his parents once they make it to the living room. Stan's mom and dad were sitting on the couch seeming to watch some sort of comedy movie. His mom stands up to excitedly greet Stan and Kyle.

"Hi kids! How was school today?" Stan's mom gives him a kiss on the forehead and gives Kyle a chaste hug.

"No one's been giving you two trouble?" Stans dad speaks up giving a smile towards Kyle and Stan.

"No dad, and yes we had an okay day at school. Me and Kyle are going to my room to play fortnight."

"Okay sweetie have fun! Me and your father are going to be heading out soon to get groceries. We'll let you know when we're leaving."

Stan nods before they make their way to his bedroom. He closes the door and make his way to the desk and grabs his Nintendo. Kyle takes off his shoes before sitting on the bed and getting himself comfy in his criss cross position. Stan follows and before seating himself next to Kyle, he gives Kyle a red console while he takes the blue one.

"Okay dude, I'm telling you right now that it has to be only a couple of rounds and then I'm out got it?"

"I get it jeez!" Stan rolls his eyes. The game begins and they start hyperfocusing on the round. They split off to try and take down more people and agree to a meeting point once the map gets smaller.

When Stan gets a chance to get somewhere safe enough to loot he takes a look at Kyle. His eyes seem to be locked in on the game with such intensity that can only be seen when he's in a competitive mood. Stan begins to notice some other things though. Like the way they're closely sat together. Knees touching and rubbing when they make the slightest movements. The way he can hear Kyles calm breathing, a contrast to the intense gaze he's aiming at the screen. The way he slightly pokes his tounge out in concentration. The way he...wait a minute! What is he thinking right now?! It must be because he's dehydrated or something and isn't thinking clearly.

"Hey I'm at a safe spot right now so I'm going to get something to drink. I think I'm feeling a bit thirsty."

"Get me some water to drink too. Hurry your ass back before you die to shitty noobies because you want to be afk."

"You'll die before I even come back to shitty noobies and you're not even afk." Stan laughs as Kyle gives him the middle finger without taking his eyes off the Nintendo screen.

He makes his way to the kitchen and sees his mom come in and take her keys from the counter. "Oh! Stan, I was just about to come tell you that we are heading out now. Your sister should be back soon from her friends house." Stan nods his head and goes to the fridge to get two water bottles as he hears his parents exit the house. Stan waits a second before going back to the room to take a long sip from his water bottle. What is up with him today? He needs a minute to clear his brain from this fog that's preventing him from thinking straight. Since when has these odd notices he has about Kyle decide to start? For some reason he almost dared to think about how hot he looks. Which is crazy right? Almost laughable for him to even conjure up a thought like that.

"Hey! Dude where is my water?!" Stan huffs out in exasperation before making his way back to his bedroom. When he walks in he sees Kyle with an annoyed look on his face.

"Let me guess we both got cooked." Stan hands Kyle his water and sits back into criss cross position. So what if he maybe sits more closer to him? The effects of the cold outside is still affecting him and he wants to feel warm. Kyle doesn't seem to mind.

"I don't even know what happened. One second I'm looting and then the next I get killed from behind by a fucking noob. It's complete bullshit!" Stan laughs at Kyles anger towards the game play.

"How about we take a break before we play another round? My parents are out grocery shopping so we have the living room to ourselves to watch some TV before they're back." Stan reaches for the console in his tight grip and attempts to ease it out of his hand but Kyle doesn't budge.

"No way dude. I want to play another round so I can show those dickheads how to really play." Stan sighs and places his other hand on Kyles shoulder.

"Kyle look at me." Kyle turns his head to him and it is then Stan realizes that their bodies are closer together than what he thought. It seems Kyle realizes this too if the way his face turns a small shade of pink means anything. Stan senses the mood suddenly shifting. To what he doesn't know. He notices something else about Kyle. He noticies how his freckles decorate his face so wonderfully. How his eyes shine with such brightness in the shade of an emerald green. Stan trails his eyes lower and his breath hitches. His lips look soft. He looks back up the same time as Kyle.

"Let's just...um.." Stan swallows and Kyle eyes watch the way his adam apple moves. "Relax for a bit?" Kyle looks back up at him.

"What did you..uh suggest we do..." Stan glances at Kyles soft looking lips again before quickly looking back up the same time again as him. "To relax..?" Is it normal to want to kiss your friends? Kyles face looks confused. Stan questions the choices he's about to make when he gets the sudden urge to connect their lips. The idea sounds enticing.

His sister barges in unannounced and breaks whatever spell he was under. Stan jumps off of the bed immediately and Kyle seems to jump at the sudden entrance.

"STAN! You-" She stops her words and looks at the scene in front of her. Stan with a red face scratching behind his head and Kyle still sitting on the bed looking to be in a confused daze with red creeping up his neck. "What were you two doing?" She asks in an accusatory tone.

"Nothing! Kyle was just leaving. Right?" Stan looks towards Kyle to see him spacing out. "Uh..K-Kyle?"

"Huh?! Oh uh yeah I was just um..leaving." Kyle moves off of the bed and picks up his back pack from the floor and dashes to the door. He stops as if he forgot something and turns back to Stan. "U-Um I'll see you later?" Stan nods his head since his response seems to be stuck in his throat. Kyle gives a small smile before finishing his dash out the house. Stan and his sister stand there in silence.

"You two are such weird turds!"

Stan and his experience with Kenny-

After that moment with Kyle, Stans heart hasn't been the same around him. It's always beating erratically and his face starts to feel hot whenever he makes eye contact with him. His weird behavior hasn't gone unnoticed by his friends. It's lunch time in the cafeteria and they're all seated at the lunch table. Eric decides it's the perfect time to tease him about his recent attitude towards Kyle.

"Aww what's the matter Stan? Getting shy around your boyfwiend?" Eric laughs as Stans chokes on his juice. Kyle rolls his eyes in annoyance with a tint of pink on the edge of his ears going unseen.

"Shut the fuck up Cartman! If you're not eating shit then you're spouting it."

"Fuck you stupid Jew!" Stan feels a headache coming on as Eric and Kyle begin to bicker and curse like usual. Stan shakes off the boyfriend comment and focuses his gaze on Kenny. Who's been looking at the banter between Eric and Kyle in amusement.

"When will it be the day they don't argue with one another?" Kenny turns and looks at Stan before shrugging.

"Th- D-y E--c St--s --t-ng." Stan chuckles in agreement at Kenny's muffled words under his hoodie.

"Fuck you too Kinny, I heard that!" Eric shoves him as Kenny lets out a muffled laugh. The bell rings signifying lunch is over and they start the move to their respective classes. Kenny and Stan have the same class together so the two of them split off from Eric and Kyle who don't share the same class. Kenny moves to sit in his seat and Stan follows and sits next to him. They're somewhere near the back middle row of the classroom. Far back enough they can goof off without the teacher giving them problems while also being able to see the teacher and the chalkboard that is used for the lesson.

As class starts Stan turns to Kenny and attempts to speak to him but sees Kenny's head is down. Confused, Stan leans over to nudge him. "Hey Kenny are you okay?" Kenny lifts his head up and looks at him with tired eyes. He nods his head. "Y-- -ud- ju-t a b-t -ired." Kenny places his head back on his desk and through the whole lesson it stays like that. The bell rings signaling their class is over and school is out. That's when Kenny lifts his head.

Stan feels concerned for Kenny. The tired look in his eyes had Stans heart clench in uneasiness. As they both make it out the building and start walking to meet up with Eric and Kyle, Kenny places a hand on his shoulder to stop him. "-ey I'm g--ng to --ad h-m-, I ha-- to ch-k on so-e-hi-g."

"Oh, okay...I'll walk with you then." Kenny shakes his head.

"No d-d- it's f-ne, I'll ca--h up w--h y-- gu-- l--er." Kenny makes his move but Stan stops him by grabbing his arm and Kenny quickly turns to look at him in confusion.

"Hell no dude! You're acting really weird and it's got me worried. Let me come with you. Please? At least let me walk you there?" Kenny stares at him and then looks down at the hand still clinging to him. Stan realizes and quickly lets go, feeling some sorts of deja vu from what happened with Kyle. That thought makes his ears turn slightly pink in embarrasment. Kenny looks at him, seeming to study him for a moment before relenting with a grunt.

"F-ne, yo- c-- t-g al-n-." Stan beams at him as Kenny rolls his eyes. "Fat-ss a-- Ky-- ar- go--g to be pi---d t--ug-."

"It'll be okay dude when we see them later today we can explain you had to go home." Kenny nods and they begin the march to their destination.

It's been a while since they were given the chance to spend some one on one time together. The sun shines down on them as they walk but it doesn't seem to do anything to help with the cold. Stan is excited to be able to chill with Kenny for a bit without some fight happening in the background. They make it to Kenny's house, and Stan slows his pace as they approach but much to Stans surprise Kenny keeps walking past it.

"Uh hey! Isn't this your house dude?" Kenny keeps on walking though and Stan quickens his pace to catch up to him. Kenny is awfully more quiet than usual and Stan feels himself begining to worry even more for his friend's odd behavior. He's about to question where they're going after walking for like 20 minutes before Kenny comes to a quick stop at a diner.

"St-- -er-."

"What? Why?! Why are we here at this diner and where are you going? I'm coming with you." Kenny looks at Stan's confused expression and sighs before shrugging.

"Ok-y, ju-- --n't a-t sus-i--ou-." Stan feels even more confused but nods his head. "A-d d-n'- --eak -ut." Stan huffs in exasperation.

"What the hell is this about?!"

"J-st shh a-- fo--o- me." They begin to make their way to the back of the diner and see a bunch of cars parked. Must belong to the employees. Kenny approaches one and begins to pull out some sort of long wire? Stick? What is that?

"Hey what the hell do you think you're doing?!"

"Wh-- do-s it l--k l--e I'm d--ng?" Kenny goes back to concentrating on the task at hand and Stan starts to internally panic which begins to become external.

"I can't beleive you're fucking breaking into someones fucking car dude! This is insane! Doesn't this make you- well I guess now US fucking criminals now?! I can't beleive that I'm now an accom-"

Kenny pulls his hood off to interrupt. "Shut the fuck up man jeez! I'm trying to focus."

"Focus on becoming a criminal?! Yeah I can see that!" Kenny unlocks the car door and quickly starts checking the interior. Stan continues to pace back and forth as his friend commits a robbery.

"Yes! Total Score!" Kenny stands up and shows Stan his findings. What looks to be 60 bucks, a oddly gigantic lighter, and a credit card.

"Dude what the hell!? I get you're broke as shit but is this really what it needs to come down to?"

"You're right I'll just skip on the credit card."

"Dude what?! No! That's no-!" Someone opens the backdoor and they both quickly turn their head. It's an older looking guy, probably around their mid 20s. He sees them and yells.

"Hey! What da hell do you two think you're doing?!" Kenny ditches the credit card and quickly stuffs the rest of the items in his pockets.

"Nothing sir! We were just leaving." Kenny proceeds to grab a nervous Stan's arm to tug him along and dashes out of the back parking lot of the diner. Stan doesn't think he's ever ran so fast in his life. He feels so out of breath as him and Kenny run all the way to some sort of abandoned car place. They stop running and transition into walking instead.

"Kenny what the fuck!" Stan shrugs Kenny's hand off his arm to come to a complete stop and stares at Kenny in confusion and irritation. "Since when have you resorted to stealing?!" Kenny stares at him for a bit before smiling.

"Oh cmon dude! You're seriously telling me that wasn't fun?"

"Running for my life was definetly NOT fun!" Kenny laughs a bit at that. Stan watches Kenny shiver from the cold weather and then proceed to place his hood back over his head and face. Kenny lifts his gaze to Stan and can't help but stifle another laugh. Stan looks pissed. "We should go back to your place Kenny. I'm freezing my ass off here!"

The heat builded up from the run they had quickly was dissipating as the cold crept in to replace it. Kenny tilts his head in thought before he extends his hand out for Stan. Stan glances at it in irritation and debates whether or not he should grab it.

"P-eas- -tan." Stan sighs and hesitantly takes his hand. Feeling Kenny's hand on his feels really...nice. As soon as their hands were clasped it felt like a small electric current went through Stan. The cold dissipated from his palms and there was only heat. Why is his heart beating oddly again? Kenny smiles under the hood and continues to lead them somewhere. Where is Kenny trying to take him now?!

After 10 minutes of walking they make their way to a familiar looking car. He feels like he's seen this car before in the past. Wait a minute!

"Is this your family's old car? The one you guys had before you guys couldn't afford it anymore?" Kenny nods his head and lets go of his hand to inspect it.

"I u-s--lly co-e h--e -fter my qu--ts to l-y -ow."

"Quests? That's what you're calling it asshole?!" Stan laughs in disbeleif and rakes a hand through his hair. Dammit! He must've dropped his hat somewhere back when they were running. After Kenny is done inspecting the car he opens the car door that seems old and rusted and gets inside.

"A-e yo- go--g to -et in or -ust --and -here?" Stan glares at him before going to the other side of the car to get in. Once inside Kenny pulls out the lighter he found which causes the cars contents to be illuminated. A bunch of watches, 2 cans of food, a lot of change scattered in random areas, and some trash littered in here. How long has he been using this car for these 'quests'? "T-e -ar d-e--'t wo-k so th-- -ighter w-ll do fo- n-w."

Kenny then places the uncharacteristically big lighter carefully standing up in the cup holder of the car. He also begins to count the money and check it using the sunlight through the front window of the car. "How long have you been doing this for?" Kenny turns to Stan and sees that he's calmed down. "I mean...this is dangerous to be doing dude and I don't want you to get hurt." Kenny eyes widen in awe at the concern. He knows his deaths aren't really easy for his friends to experience all the time. Hearing the worry from one of them though makes Kenny feel warm inside despite the cold from outside.

"I'm o-ay d--e. Re--ly! T-er-'s no r-as-n to f--ak -ut." Stan looks into his eyes to see if he can get a read on him. It's hard when his coat is in the way. He leans in closer and reaches for the hood to slip it off his head. That's better. Stan feels his anxiousness roll off him at the full sight of his friend's face. Kenny is grinning at him. His smile is so relaxing to see in Stans mind. A smile on his face suits him.

"Couldn't help but want to see me in my full glory?" Kenny teases, and Stan's face lights up with red. Who needs the lighter when he has Kenny's stupid comments.

"Oh fuck off." Stan shoves at him and Kenny bursts out fits of laughter. Stan can't help but later join in. What? Kenny's laughter is contagious. They spend the next 3 minutes dying of laughter before Stan stops to catch his breath from it. When Stan settles his laughing fit he looks and sees Kenny's smile shine from the sunlight. He looks breathtaking. Stan feels his heart stop for a second. "You look perfect Kenny."

Kenny immedietly stops laughing at those words and quickly turns his head back to Stan. His eyes widen in surprise and Stan sees his face light up pink. "W-What?" It's as if Stan realizes what he said and begins to try and save face.

"Wait! No it's- I mean I-" Kenny begins to smile as Stan starts to trip over his words.

"Hey hey! It's okay I- um..." Stan feels like the lighter is making this car a lot hotter than it should be able to. "Thank you." Kenny says, as Stan stares in wonder at how extra quiet his voice sounded. Kenny looks at Stan with such brightness in his eyes that it feels like some sort of magnet pulling him closer.

"I didn't really hear that last part." Kenny leans in slightly.

"I said thank you, for the..compliment." Okay now their faces are too close. "You know, if you ever need anything you can always come to us." Stan whispers, not wanting to break the spell he feels himself under. He means it though, if Kenny needs anything he shouldn't feel afraid of coming to them.

"I know, you worry too much dude. I'm fine, honestly. Money is tight all of the time you know, and so to help out I started adapting to...well, this." Kenny vaguely gestures at the items. "This is just one of the 'fun' things I tend to do when I have the time."

Stan pinches his brows still feeling concerned. Kenny reaches out and places a hand on his cheeks and Stan now feels like breathing is impossible. "I'm fine..seriously." Stan glances down at Kenny's lips. Why does he again have the urge to kiss one of his friends?!

"Okay, I'll believe you." The lighter goes out suddenly and the cold comes creeping back in. Stan turns his gaze away and onto the lighter. Kenny begins to lift his coat back over his head and mouth but Stan quickly places his hands on Kenny's to stop him. Stan can hear Kenny's breath hitch at the sudden hand contact which causes his heart to stutter again.

"You don't need to put it on." Stan removes his hands from Kenny's as he lets go of his hood and Kenny smirks.

"It's getting cold though."

"I know, but maybe there's something else in this shitty car that can give us some heat." Kenny glances down at Stans mouth and it doesn't go unnoticed. His body is starting to feel hot despite the cold. What is happening right now?!

"I think I know what can help." Kenny leans in closer and Stan is compelled to also lean in, leaving little space between their lips. Stan's heart feels like it's beating out of his chest.

"Yeah?" Stan swallows as he looks into Kenny's pretty eyes. Kenny's smirk grows.

"Yeah.."

Suddenly there's a rough knock at the window and they jump away from each quickly. They see an older looking woman peering in trying to get their attention. She's holding Stan's hat that fell somewhere back. Kenny opens the car door since the windows can't roll down and Stan follows suit.

"Oh! Uh..Sorry to interrupt? I seen this hat on the snow and footprints leading from it to this area. I thought those footprints could've been the owners." Kenny laughs.

"Yeah that belongs to my friend here. Such a fucking clutz." The lady bristles at the foul language while Stan sends a scolding look towards him and smacks the back of his head, but also reaches for the hat.

"Sorry about him! Thank you for returning this." The older woman smiles and fares them well as she walks away. Now it's just awkward silence.

"You know..I think it's time I head home." Kenny says before quickly making his exit. "I'll see you later!" Stan stands there left in a confused state as he watches Kenny soon dissapear from his line of sight.

"What the fuck just happened!?"

Stan's experience with Eric-

After that whole thing that happened with Kenny, Stan has been going through a crisis. The things he started to feel for Kyle and Kenny, or better yet, the feelings he is now realizing he may have for Kyle and Kenny has been mulled over in his head. That's crazy! He can't seriously have feelings for two of his best friends! Last time he checked he's not into guys. Or..at least he thought? His emotions feel so scattered ever since that ordeal with Kyle and got worse since the ordeal with Kenny.

He hasn't been able to act normal around either of them since then. At the same time, the two of them haven't been able to act normal around him either. Every time he makes eye contact with one of them he feels his face heat up and flush with the color red. Their faces do the same. He can't help but glance at their lips when they talk to him now and he feels so pervy with these new recent...um..thoughts about them.

Eric has noticed the weird change in interactions between the three of them and has been, of course, teasing them relentlessy as they stand at their lockers. "Did the three of you guys fuck or something? You guys look like such dumbasses right now! Ha! If only you could see all of your faces right now." Eric bursts in fits of loud laughter as they all turn red in the face.

"Shut the fuck up Cartman!" Kyle shoves him and his back hits the locker.

"Jeez! You can't take a fucking joke Kahl?" Eric grins as Kyles face gets more red the more he talks. "I'm just salty you three left me out is all." Eric teases and Stan feels his face heat up at his teasing. Why does Eric have to say the most embarrasing things!?

"Aww, don't be salty." Kenny says as he begins to almost loom over him and Eric has to do a double take at how close Kenny suddenly is to his face. "If you want us to fuck you, just say so." Kenny grins at Eric's quickly reddening face. He seems caught off guard by that and Stan feels a sinking pit in his stomach when he realizes he wants to see Erics face flush red more often. He actually looks cute like that. Stan wants to smack himself in the face and Kenny for even entertaining Eric's teasing, and it seems Kyle wants to do the same.

Eric shoves Kenny away and glares at him. "Don't be fucking gross Kenny! As if I would ever do THAT with you three of all people. Bleh!" Kenny cackles as he gets shoved and retreats away from Eric's fury. Stan sees that Eric's face isn't in that cute shade of red anymore and is back to normal. Wait cute?! What the hell is wrong with him this week!? Stan smacks himself which surprises the three boys.

"See what you did guys! Your dumbass teases bothered him!" Kyle says as he glares at Eric and Kenny. "Kenny, next time don't entertain the fatass. He just wants attention because he's a lonely asshole." Kyle eyes brighten mischeviously as he sees his ragebaiting worked on Eric.

"Fuck you Jew! I told you guys already I'm not fat and that I'm just big boned." Eric gives Kyle the middle finger as Kenny and him laugh. Stan comes out of his daze he put himself in and closes his eyes trying to destroy all thoughts of anything in his head.

Now that it's the next day though, that moment replays in his head as he walks late at night to Erics house. They're supposed to be having a sleep over that is being hosted over there. He has his blue sleeping bag and back pack with his clothes. He feels nervous for some reason as he soon approaches Eric's door step. Kenny's words to Eric keep replaying in his head without his permission. The thought of him and Eric having- wait no! Hell no! He needs to quickly dispel these wicked thoughts he's having from his head about Eric this instant. He's sleeping over his house for crying out loud and it wouldn't do him any good to be thinking these things.

Stan takes a deep breath in and out before he works up the courage to knock. After a while the door opens and he's greeted by Eric's mom. "Oh, hi there Stan! Please come in, Eric is in his room right now but you can feel free to go in." She smiles warmly at him as Stan makes his way inside.

"Hi Mrs. Cartman, are the others here yet?"

"No, not yet dear, but you can make yourself at home." Stan nods and he makes his way to Eric's room. The door is cracked open and he quietly approaches and peeks his head in to look inside. What he sees makes his heart swell and his eyes feel like they're dilating as he looks at the scene in awe.

It's Eric sitting on the floor petting and cooing soft praises and adoration to his cat. Everything about him right now looks so soft and sweet as Eric stares so lovingly at Mr. Kitty. He hasn't seen Eric with such a cute and genuine smile on his face before, he's so used to it being mischevious that seeing it look so pure now he feels like he's having whiplash. He can't even fathom how pure Eric looks right now or the sudden thoughts of wanting to be the cause of such a genuine emotion on his face.

Mr. Kitty turns her head to his direction and meows. Eric tilts his head in confusion and turns his gaze to where Mr. Kitty's is directed at. Stan feel his breath hitch when Eric's soft, warm smile and gaze is aimed at him, but it only lasts for 1 second before it reverts to a surprised and embarrased look. "Stan, what the fuck! Why the hell are you standing there like a creepy peeping tom?? And how long have you been standing there you fucking weirdo?!"

Stan's body feels hot and suddenly anxious at having been called out. He has to try and save face. "Oh fuck off Cartamn. I just got here so relax your fatass!" Stan opens the door all the way and enters and carelessly drops his stuff somewhere on his floor. Mr. Kitty jumps out of his lap and runs to Stan and rubs her head against his leg.

"Stupid tratior." Eric says, the comment directed towards Mr. Kitty. Stan huffs a laugh at Eric's attitude and sits on the floor to him. Right when he gets comfortable Eric's mom appears at the door.

"Hi boys. The pizza and soda you asked for is in the living room hon, and I'm sorry to say but I just got a call from Kyle and Kenny's parents and they won't be able to attend this one. They promise next time they can." Eric huffs in annoyance.

"UGH! Those assholes ditching me with this guy here is a total blow." Stan flips him off as his mom tells them to 'have fun but not too much fun' whatever the hell that means before she takes her leave and closes the door. "Gross mom! What the hell is wrong with you!?" Eric calls out after her before he stands up. Stan follows suit with Mr. Kitty still in his arms and goes with Eric to the living room to sit and eat. "Don't let that traitor Mr. Kitty get any." Stan smiles and tries to hold back a laugh at that.

Once they make it to the living room and he sits down Mr. Kitty jumps off his lap and runs to her bed in the far corner of the living room. "Do you wanna watch a movie? I heard there's this new vampire movie that came out and I saw the trailer for it and it looks like it'll be really cool." Eric shrugs as he walks over to the tv and pick up the remote to turn it on.

"Cmon Stan you know I'm not into watching horror! Quit the crap-"

"Don't be a pussy Cartman it'll be fun and it's not scary! It's supposed to be a comedy and you love comedies." Eric puts the channel on and turns around to study Stan's face with a glare. "It's a comedy dude, trust!" Eric stares at him a bit longer before rolling his eyes and typing it in.

"If this turns out to be scary I will punch the shit out of you." Stan grins in triumphant and he moves to get the seating arranged and ready for the movie. So what if the movie is actually scary? He bets Eric would be too scared shitless to even remember to do that.

Eric shortly turns off the lights and sits next to him with the remote and clicks play. The movie starts with the screen acting as a light source for them to see what they're doing. They both start eating pizza as they watch the vampire movie and for some reason Stan can't help but have his mind wander. He can't believe that Kyle and Kenny just ditched on them. Being alone with Eric doesn't happen often and he worries that, based on how weird him and his thoughts have been acting recently, that he may fuck up somehow.

20 minutes pass and the pizza box is already empty, surprisingly, not because of Eric but because of Stan. Stan guesses his nerves must've gotten the better of him and he even shocked himself with how much pizza he ate. Eric even commented on it saying, 'And you call me the fatass'. Stan bets he'll go on a rant about this to Kyle and Kenny and he sure has hell isn't looking forward to that. The reason for him stuffing his face is truly because he is afraid of saying, or worse, doing something that makes a fool of himself!

Everytime Eric would try to comment on the movie and how it's not even funny, Stan would immedietly get to chowing down on a slice of pizza which of course Eric found odd. Now that the pizza is finished however, much to Eric's displeasure, he has no excuse to not respond to him, and Eric realizes this too.

"Hey asshole, what the hell do you have us watching right now? Not only is this movie shitty but it's downright boring and isn't funny."

"Relax fatass, the funny part is about to happen."

"I'm a fatass, yet you ate damn near the whole pizza and almost even the box you dick!"

"Fuck you Cartman you didn't need the extra calories anyway so you should be thanking me." Eric shoves at him and Stan laughs, he realizes that the usual banter between the two of them eased his nerves. What was he even worried about again? His brain has quieted and he feels relaxed and starts to have hope that maybe he was actually just really hungry.

They go back to focusing their attention on the screen and then the 'funny' part of the movie happens to which Eric yelps and quickly cling onto Stans arm and hides his face. Stan jumps in surprise at the feeling of Eric clinging to him so tightly and can feel his body immediately burn up with the contact. "A-Are you seriously scared of a little jumpscare?" Stan tries to keep his nerves and body calm as Eric lifts his head up and fixes a glare on him, still clinging to his arm.

"Of course not! It just- well I- you SAID it wasn't going to be a scary movie you fucking prick!"

"I meant to mention it's supposed to be a comedy horror didn't I?" Eric looks pissed and Stan can't help but crack a smile at how his cheeks grow such a rosy shade of red and how cute he looks pouting. Stan mentally slaps himself, he really needs to just stop thinking. He can't help but enjoy the sudden warmth the body contact brought him and he subtly leans into it.

"Fool me once-"

"Oh come on fatass. Do you really want Kenny and Kyle to find out how much of a pussy you are right now?"

"Hey! I'm not a pussy, you dick sucker! Watch and you'll see that I'm not scared of some shitty movie." Eric lets go of Stans arm and retreats back into his own personal space with his legs hugged to his chest as he watches. Stan scoots subtly more closer to Eric, missing the warmth he brought. The movie continues and another 10 minutes in and Eric gets frightened from the next jump and quickly clings onto Stans chest this time, burrying his face in his shirt. Before Stan could tease him about it, Eric pushes himself away from Stan immediately and fixes another ticked off stare at him.

"Don't you dare say a fucking word." Stan tries his absolute best not to laugh in fear of getting punched in the face expeditiously. Stan does the zip and lock motion and Eric seems to calm down slightly from this. Eric turns his head back to the screen but another jumpscare happens to which he yelps and clings onto Stan again to bury his face back. Stans heart swells with such adoration for the boy at this moment. Why the hell is he acting so cute all of a sudden?! Stan decides to slyly wrap his arm around him. If his mom appeared right now to see them practically cuddling he thinks he would just die.

"Aw, don't be a baby Cartman. If you really can't handle it then I guess-"

Eric cuts him off, shyly lifts his head up, and makes eye contact while continuing to cling to him. His voice comes out so soft and quiet that Stan hardly beleives it's the same person he's had countless loud arguements with. "Wait! I can watch it, just- can you- ugh..." Erics face is red and Stan can tell his will be too. "If we stay like this I can..um..watch it."

Stan's assumption was correct, his face lights up in a flurry of red. Did he just admit that cuddling will help?! He knows Eric won't repeat himself, especially considering how much courage it must've took for him to say it. He needs to say something instead of just staring at him in awe. Eric begins to look downcasted for some reason as he slowly begins to pull away and Stan feels his heart sink in the pit of his gut. "Nevermind, forget it."

"Wait no! Yes we could stay like this. I was just surprised." Stan immediately tugs him closer again so now Erics head is tucked under his as he wraps his arms around him. Does this mean they're officially cuddling?! His heart is beating erratically from how cutely snuggled up Eric is against him. He thinks to himself how he needs to stop using the word cute to refer to Eric of all people. This is for sure something he hasn't ever thought in a million years he would ever dream of doing, but here he is. "We also don't need to finish the movie. I was just trying to mess with you dude, so don't worry about Kenny or Kyle finding out. I'm sorry."

Eric gets into a more comfortable position on the couch with Stan, that way he's less leaning and more flushed to his side. "Fuck you jerk! I'm not backing down from finishing this movie. Then, I'll be able to rant to the others about how NOT scared I was of a horror movie." Eric grins and Stan rolls his eyes at the stubborness. Eric turns back to the screen again and Stan can feel his body relax completely against him. He even hears Eric sigh contently, which his brain is now telling him it's the cutest sound from him today. This feels nice, Stan decides. Who says friends can't chill close together while watching movies. Eric still jumps at the scary parts and turns his body to hide his face in Stan's shirt, but other than that, Stan can tell he's more relaxed.

The movie progresses with the amount of times Eric gets jumpscared decreasing as him and Eric start their usual banter. Eric being an asshole and Stan calling him out and being an asshole back. Stan almost forgot they're technically cuddling. Eric, he notices has gotten quiet though, and once the movie finally ends, he realizes that Eric is assleep. "You gotta be kidding." Stan starts snickering quietly at how strangely adorable he looks sleeping. Dammit! He really needs to stop thinking that about Eric.

Stan unwraps his arms from him and stands up to wake up the sleeping boy. "Hey, Cartman you gotta wake up." Stan tugs on his arm in an attempt to pull him up to stand. "Wake up fatass you can't sleep here. Don't you want your warm bed and blankets?" Eric groans in annoyance as he slowly flutters his eyes open. Erics vision is a bit blurred with how dark it is and the light from the Tv not making it better. He allows Stan to tug him off of the couch to get him to stand and begins to rub his eyes to try to get rid of the sleepiness. To no avail however, because his eyes droop shut again and he begins to nod off while standing and Stan smiles and rolls his eyes in feigned annoyance. "Come on, let's get to bed dude."

Stan grabs his hand and begins to lead him to his room. Even though Eric subtly jumps from the hand contact, he's too tired to open his eyes, so he allows Stan to lead him upstairs. Trusting him just this once to not lead him directly to a wall.

They make it to his room and Stan opens the door for him, since Eric is barely there, and get inside before closing the door. He leads Eric to his bed to which he does now open his eyes just a bit to get into the bed correctly and tug the covers over himself. Right when Stan is about to turn away and pull out his sleeping bag, Eric softly tugs on his pajama sleeve to stop him and get his attention.

"Wait, don't-" Eric stops and pauses as Stans confused gaze latches onto him. "I mean, you don't have to, I won't give a shit if you say no or anything.." Stan begins to wonder if he is about to ask what he think he is. "Do you...wanna sleep together?" The way Eric unknowlingly looks at him with such softness and slight anxiousness makes Stans heart squeeze. Should he? Stan wonders if he heard wrong and begins to overthink, questioning his overall feelings he is trying his best to deny he's having about someone who is meant to be one of his best friends. This is the second time today he's seen Eric look so soft and he doesn't want him to recede back to the asshole persona he adapted.

Eric's eyes look away from Stan's. "If you prefer to sleep on the floor than with me I don't care." Stan quickly fixes a response, forgetting that he's just been staring at him this whole time.

"No! Don't do that dude! I'm sorry, I spaced out." Eric fixes his eyes on Stan again, the defeated look on his face kicks Stan into action and he jumps into bed with him. Eric looks shocked by how quickly Stan moved under the covers next to him and once he processes it, he laughs.

"You're such a dumbass! Are you that eager?" Eric wheezes out as his laughter continues and Stan flushes in embarrasment but smiles at how happy Eric looks now. He shoves at him before laying down.

"As if I'm the one who asked to sleep with you." Eric stops laughing and glares at him with no real heat behind it as his face gets a tint of pink on his cheeks.

"You know what? Just shut up and go to sleep." Stan grins in amusement at Eric's switch up. Eric lays down and Stan tugs him to lay his head on his chest and drapes his arm over him. Eric snuggles up to him and sighs contently before closing his eyes and drifitng quickly to sleep.

Stan combs his hand through Erics hair and gets lost in thought. So at this point, there's no denying the fondess he has for his friends, but, now he questions if it's something more. He's used to having romantic feelings for a girl before, but he didn't ever think he could get one for a guy, much less, THREE guys who he considers his friends. He's always been close with them, like really close, so it's hard for him to decipher if the strong love he's realizing he has for them all is platonic or not. If it's not platonic, then how long has he been keeping these feelings inside?!

He goes on to think about how the relationship between the three of them could even work if he did have feelings, and if they even feel the same about him. Wait! Now he's wondering if they could feel the same about each other. Dammit! Why does this have to be so complicated?! He decides to stop theorizing about what everyone else feels and instead shifts the focus to his own feelings. These are his friends, people he's been with for years.

He thinks about Kyle. Does he really have feelings for him? He remembers that moment, the spark, shared between the two of them in his room. He feels a flutter in his chest at the memory, and the idea of them just being friends begins to cause his heart to ache. The idea of them being more than that fixes that ache. Yeah, he does have feelings for him.

He then thinks about Kenny. Looking back at the memory, he will now admit that it was really fun. He wouldn't ever admit it to him though of course. The way Kenny looked so nice in the sunlight beaming through the old car's front wind sheild, and his smile and eyes looking so warm and bright gets his him feeling warm inside. He sighs happily at the memory and realizes that yeah, he does have feelings for him.

He thinks about lastly Eric. His personality can be too much for people to handle and it has him wondering, does he really have feelings for him? Stan can handle Eric easily, but knows that Eric's rude and bratty attitude is annoying to many, heck he even wishes that Eric could put his pride to the side for once at times and open up more. Despite all of that, oddly enough, he finds it to be endearing. Eric's vulnerable and soft side will always outweigh the prideful one in Stans eyes.

Like now, with Eric breathing softly and cuddled up with him. Stan gazes at him warmly. To answer the question he asked himself previously...yeah, he does. Once he comes to accept that he loves all three of them, a sense of calm and warmth washes over him completely and he drifts off to sleep.

Notes:

Hai guys! I hope you enjoyed this first chapter because there will be many more where it came from. I will do my best to improve on my writing and storytelling as I release more chapters. Feel free to leave a comment about anything you liked when reading! Consider the first 4 chapters of this story to be a prologue for the start of their relationship/story. The fifth chapter I will try to give you all the aesthetics/personalities I had in mind for the main four and the rest of the characters for this. See you next time <3
