Chapter Text
6:30 AM
The Sully house is only quiet when the kids are at asleep like now. Neytiri walks around the kitchen and prepares some breakfast for when her children will wake up while Jake sits at the dining table, the newspaper in one hand and in the other a cup of coffee he's loudly sipping.
The woman looks up from the stove when hearing footsteps coming from upstairs making their self all the way down. She smiles when noticing her first born. Neteyam wakes up before all of his sibilings and then takes charge to go wake them up, or more precisely to go wake Lo'ak up that can never hear his alarm and always ends up on the edge of missing the bus for school.
"Good morning love, have some breakfast." She says softly while placing a plate in front of him
Neteyam doesn't reply with words, instead he simply nods his head and digs in her mother breakfast, holding up a thumbs up to Neytiri and let her know that he's enjoying what she made for him and the rest of his still asleep sibilings.
Jake finishes his cup of coffee and leans against the chair before clearing his throat. He gets up and stirs with a loud yawn, because everything he does is just so loud.
"Don't forget to go wake your sibilings up if they don't wake in max thirty minutes." He comments while patting Neteyam head
The man walks towards the living room and sits down on the sofà, looking around for the remote and, after finding it, turning on the tv and mindlessly scrolling trough channels trying to find something actually interesting at this hour of the morning. Neteyam stares and swallows down his food before nodding his head and replying.
"Yes, don't you have work dad?" He asks with a raised eyebrow and a tilted head
In seventeen, almost eighteen years of his life Neteyam still doesn't know what his dad job is, actually he never saw the man work one day. When him and the others leaves for school Jake is comfortably sitting on the sofà watching tv or helping Neytiri around the house with chores, when they come back from school he's in the same exact spot they left him in. He was never curious enough to actually ask what his father does, he just assumed since he was a kid that he works with the mafia, that he doesn't want too many people to know and that is why neither Neteyam or his sibilings ever saw him work.
"Nope!" That's all Jake answers before going back to stare at the glowing screen of the tv
Before Neteyam can make more questions, Kiri and Tuk comes downstairs.
"Morning!" They both say at the same time before sitting at the table next to each other
At the sound of his daughters voices Jake rises from his spot on the sofà and turns to stare at his two 'baby girls'. He walks over the kitchen again and grabs a chair, put it between the two and sits down.
"Morning girls, slept well?" He asks with the usual fond and happy expression he seems to have only for them
Neteyam frowns and shakes his head at the scene. It's not secret that his dad has a clear preference for his two younger sisters, but then again he guesses it's fair since Neytiri clearly prefers him over any of her children and then Lo'ak...well he's kind of excluded from the list of favorite children. He's more like the plus one kid who wasn't planned.
Neteyam used to tell his younger brother when they were little that their parents didn't plan him and didn't really want him, considering that at the time too he wasn't anyone favorite child since Neytiri already was head over heels for her first born and Jake was too engrossed with Kiri, Lo'ak used to feel bad and cry for hours till someone reassured him that he was wanted.
Yeah, Neteyam was just (still is) a little shit.
7:00 AM
Lo'ak alarm has been going off for thirty minutes or something and yet the boy still doesn't wake up. He rolls around the bed a few times and mumbles some things under his breath before going back to snoring.
The door of his room opens and way too familiar hands shake him hard enough to make Lo'ak teeth rattle in his sleep.
"Wake up! We're all ready to go, you're the only one still sleeping!" Neteyam exclaims while shoving his younger brother out of bed
Lo'ak groans and blinks a few times processing whatever the hell is happening, he turns to stare Neteyam straight in the eyes before hissing.
"Are you mental?! I was sleeping!" He argues while getting up from the floor, his tail moving left and right from annoyance
"Oh stop complaining and get ready, it's late we're gonna miss the bus." Neteyam gives him a slap on the back of his head before walking out of his brother room
"Neteyam is such a bitch, I hate him when he comes to my room and disturbs my sleep. I was literally dreaming of Tsireya."
.
.
"It's not my fault that fat ass can't wake up normally like everyone else. I just do what I need to do."
After a few minutes of complaining under his breath Lo'ak finally decided to get ready. He follows his normal morning routine, brushes his teeth, puts on his Nike tech and sogs the pants enough for them to leave his whole ass out, sprays cheap cologne on and winks at the mirror before rushing downstairs with his backpack thrown on one shoulder.
"Finally Lo'ak" Neytiri exclaims while smiling brightly with her phone on her hands
The boy looks at his sibilings suspiciously, they're all standing at the entrance of the door posing while their parents are in front of them. He knows exactly what is about to come next and the worse part? There is no escaping it.
"Go pose with your sibilings. We're doing a back to school photo." She adds her finger ready to take cringe pictures
If there is one word the kids would use to describe their mother is: 'Facebook mom'. The woman spends her whole day scrolling trough that damned app and reading other stay at home wives and mothers cringe and motivational postes that she has to share on her profile too. The worse part is not even that one. She just has to take embarassing pictures of her kids all the times to post on her account with even more embarassing captions just because Ronal is on the app too and apparently their hate runs deep on the web. Neytiri just has to show off her kids to the witch.
"Mom this is cringe, please pull the phone down." Lo'ak comments while posing with the rest of his sibilings
Jake gives him a look and Neytiri simply smiles and takes the picture.
Snap!
Upoloaded on Facebook already.
Lo'ak, Neteyam and Kiri all roll their eyes before chanting goodbye all the same time and walking towards the bus stop.
When they're far enough from home, Lo'ak pulls out his blue vape, blue raz flavored, he takes a drag gives a quick glance at Kiri outfit before shaking his head in disappointment.
"Why are you dressed like a hippie? You look embarassing." He asks with a raised eyebrow before taking another drag
The vape flavor intoxicates the air around the three sibilings. Neteyam scrunches his nose, he hates the taste of those damned things his brother smokes. Not that he ever tells him anything, he tried once and secretely snitched on Lo'ak to their parents. What happened was so crazy that he would never want to experience it again.
On the other hand Kiri looks down at her outfit. To her it seems normal. Harem pants with flowers patterns all over them, loose t-shirt hanging from her shoulder with bra strap showing and Birkenstocks instead of normal shoes. She isn't dressed like a hippie, he's just dressed like an idiot.
"Shut up, your pants are sogging so much I can see your damn underwear." She snaps back before speeding up her pace to get away from her brothers
Neteyam shakes his head but refrains from saying anything at all, he didn't want to get involved in fights between the two. The first rule of the house is that twins fight must be resolved between the twins and no one else.
"I don't understand why Lo'ak thinks he can come for anyone look while he's the one with his whole ass hanging out"
.
.
"She's literally dressed like someone who smokes weed and sniffs cocaine! I don't know why she's so fucking mad."
.
.
"I hate my sibilings, I really do."
When the bus arrives, Lo'ak is the first one to get on, followed by Neteyam and then by Kiri.
The first boy shoves his hands inside of his pants before walking towards the back of the bus knowing that Tsireya is definitely there, keeping him a spot next to her like every morning since they became friends and later on started dating.
Neteyam looks around before finally noticing Ao'nung keeping him a spot. The curly haired boy is already with his head leaning against the window, airpods in his ear listening to music while silently waiting for him, not noticing Neteyam is already on the bus smiling like an idiot and making his way towards him.
Kiri huffs once inside and walks straight towards Rotxo. She sits next to him and, without even saying a word, leans her head on his shoulder before relaxing her expression. The boy raises an eyebrow but doesn't move away.
"Everything alright?" He asks with a raised eyebrow, resting his four fingered hand on Kiri head
She nods slightly and let out a quiet sigh before speaking
"Lo'ak being a bitch, I'm going to murder him! I swear to Eywa." She exclaims annoyed with a frown on her lips
Rotxo hums softly under his breath and gives her a few pats on the head. It's not the first morning she talks about murdering people, so by far everything seems on the norm.
Lo'ak gets comfortable next to Tsireya, she smiles when noticing her boyfriend and leans in for a soft goodmorning kiss. They're the type of couple who makes out in school hallways and that everyone hates. Including their own families.
After the kiss the girl goes back to read her book as Lo'ak puts his airpods in and listens to music, his hand resting gently on Tsireya thigh. Minutes passes and the boy looks down at his girlfriend before taking one airpod out.
"You want to listen to music with me?" He asks with a raised eyebrow and a hoping smile
She ponders for a few seconds but then nods her head with a giggle and takes the airpod from his hand before putting it in her ear.
"I'm like, 'Bitch, who is your man's?' Can't keep my dick in my pants, ay-"
Tsireya blinks a few times before giving Lo'ak his airpod back. He raises an eyebrow and she doesn't say anything but just gets back to read.
Neteyam sits down and flicks Ao'nung head on the side, the boy whips his head hissing already annoyed but immediatly calms down noticing it's just his boyfriend.
"Neteyam, it's just you." Ao'nung comments while taking out one airpod and putting it back in it's case
Neteyam raises an eyebrow and gives him a quick slap on the shoulders too. Anyone who didn't know them enough would probably think they're just bros who likes to act homosexual from time to time. Like every guy friends now days. It's hard to tell when someone is actually gay or when they're just weird.
"Just me? You should be jumping from happyness." He exclaims with a soft chuckle
Ao'nung frowns but can't help the smiles that forms on his lips. He leans down and presses a quick kiss on the top of the other guy forhead and goes back to lean against the window.
"Yeah, yeah whatever." He replies with a cheesy grin
8:20 AM
Class just started.
Neteyam said goodbye to his sibilings when the first bell rang indicating the start of lessons. Since a year and something older than Lo'ak and Kiri, he goes in another class. The twins on the other hand every damn morning go to class together.
Lo'ak isn't the greatest student around, actually– he's grades are good he just gets in trouble every single day. Teachers can't stand him, he's always somewhat involved with a fight or caught vaping in the school bathroom. One time he was even caught sneaking in the girls bathroom, not because he's a creep just because he had to meet with Tsireya there.
Kiri is an avarage student. She isn't the smartest of the school and doesn't aspire to become it either, though she certenly doesn't get in trouble like his brother does. She has to admit that her temper is rather short and that she had made a few people cry, but only because students tends to poke fun at her first.
Lo'ak isn't following the lesson, he's simply chatting rather loudly with his classmate next to him, telling each other what they have been doing during summer break.
"Lo'ak! Are you done disturbing the class?" The math teacher, Ms. Divorced with two kids, screams high pitched
The boy ears falls behind from the screeching sound. He rolls his eyes and leans against the chair. Even if he's an annoying student, the teachers somewhat still feel sympathy for him. The only one who genuinely seems to hate Lo'ak is Ms. Divorced.
"I wasn't doing anything, what the Eywa?" He comments crossing his arms over his chest
The witch puffs her chest and starts to lecture him like every damn morning. He sighs and, under his breath, mocks her accent waiting for her favorite line to come. He knows those lectures by heart now.
"I'm going to call your parents!" She screams and he can't help but shrug
Neyitiri and Jake are sitting on the sofà watching the telenovelas she loves the most and that her husband doesn't love, at all. The man phone start ringing loudly, he groans and reaches for it on the coffee table staring at the bright phone number.
"Who is it Ma'Jake?" She asks while leaning to look at the number too
Jake scoffs and holds the phone in front of his wife face. That phone number, it's the kids school. The two of them already knows who they're calling for. Lo'ak probably caused trouble again. Once the school called more than twenty times in a week and from that time they decided to simply never pick up the phone again.
As usual Jake hangs up and goes back to watch tv with his wife again.
"I don't understand why that boy is always part of trouble. Surely I didn't raise him to be like this."
.
.
"I always told my wife that we should have beat him when he was a kid. She never listened."
12:05 PM
Lunch break arrives and the Sullys plus their respective lovers sits at the school cafeteria, lunch trays in front of them.
As always Lo'ak and Tsireya are being so fucking disgusting. Kiri can't help but sit at the edge of the table trying not to make it see like she's related to the damn blue boy and Neteyam just tries to ignore it, but it's hard really hard when Tsireya is literally feeding his younger brother with a spoon. Ao'nung looks around the cafeteria and, like Kiri, tries to act like he doesn't know them and Rotxo simply sticks next to his girlfriend disgusted.
"Are you two done being so fucking embarassing? Like are you even seeing your self?!" Kiri snaps while scoffing
Lo'ak looks towards his twin direction and gives her the middle finger. Him and Tsireya literally weren't doing anything wrong other than eating.
"It's not my fault you're relatioship isn't as romantic and intense as mine with your fish looking boyfriend!" He exclaims back, his voice raising and drawing even more attention at their table
Rotxo puts his hands in the air while letting out an offended gasp, his face confused and annoyed at the same time.
"Bro? What the fuck am I catching strays for? Forest monkey!" He comments earning a quiet laugh from Kiri
Lo'ak gets up from his seat, his fists clenching as the students around him start to become quiet, too engrossed on what's happening at the Sullys table.
"Lo'ak is a fucking wild beast who should be put down! I don't know how he's my twin."
.
.
"I can't believe that hippie just called me a wild beast, it's not my fault that fish lips just thinks way too highly of him self. First dating my sister and then calling me a monkey?!"
.
.
"I didn't even say anything and I caught strays for nothing! He deserves to be put down like a wild animal."
In the end the boys didn't get in a physical fight. Tsireya succeeded on calming down Lo'ak before he could get in trouble again and Rotxo wasn't going to hit him unless the other boy hit first. Meanwhile lunch break ended and the bell rang again. Well at least school was about to finish.
"Stay away from me you fish lips!" Lo'ak exclaims while walking towards his next class
"Oh don't worry you monkey! I wouldn't want to catch rabies." He says back earning a hiss from the forest boy. Rotxo hisses back
The group parts their ways each of them going to their respective classes for the next lessons.
2:20 PM
Back on the bus the Sullys are ready to get home after the tiring day at school. Like in the morning Lo'ak sits next to Tsireya the two of them already making out in the back of the bus like every day.
Kiri and Rotxo listens to music together quietly sometimes stealing a few pecks from each other and letting out quiet laughs, not wanting to disturb the others on the bus.
Neteyam and Ao'nung bicker like an old married couple about something so stupid that at some point they just end up laughing. Neteyam falling asleep on his boyfriend shoulder and mumbling something about being woken up when his stop is near.
The bus stops in front of the Sully's house. The three sibilings get out and walk from the bus stop to home. Neteyam fishes trough his pockets till he finds the house keys and pushes them inside the front door lock before pushing it open after hearing the familiar click of the open door.
"We're back." The older one exclaims as Kiri closes the door behind her
The first one to greet them isn't their parents but rather their younger sister Tuk. Her ipad in one of her small hands as she rushes towards her older sibilings. She jumps around and then basically crawls in Kiri arms, the older girl hold her tightly careful not to let her fall.
"Hi guys! Does anyone want to play roblox with me?" She asks excited while whipping her head between her sibilings
Neteyam smiles and laughs at her little sister antics. Lo'ak pats the small girl head and boops her nose as Kiri bites her cheek. If there is one thing the three teens can agree on is that they would probably all give their life for Tuk.
"Sure baby, I'll play Roblox with you." Kiri exclaims while carrying the laughing kid upstairs towards their shared room
"We all love Tuk."
.
.
Neteyam and Lo'ak walks towards the living room, kicking their shoes off and throwing their bags on the floor. The boys stops midtrack when they notice their dad sitting on the couch with a too small princess dress on and cheap kids make up on his face. Lo'ak laughs loudly and has to hold him self on the wall not to fall.
"Yo dad, what even happened to you?" He asks between laughs while walking towards his mother go greet her with the usual kisses on the cheek, Neteyam following suit
Jake gives his younger son a glance before shaking his head and getting up from the sofà and walking towards both of his kids.
"I was playing with Tuk after she came back from school. She wanted to play pretty princesses." He comments while letting out a sigh.
The man was never strong enough to tell his daughters no to anything. If one day of them asked him to bring them the Moon, he probably would. Jake grabs a glass of water and takes a few sips from it.
"What are you two still doing here staring like idiots?" He pauses and takes another sip while raising an eyebrow "Don't you have homework or something? Get out."
Neteyam and Lo'ak exclaims a 'yes sir!' at the same time before rushing upstairs towards their rooms.
Once upstairs the faint sound of Tuk laughs can be heard from her and Kiri room, the two boys share a content glance before going to their respective room and closing the door behind their self.
4:40 PM
Kiri and Tuk are still playing Roblox together, having the time of their life and sharing laughs together. The two are currently playing 'adopt me', scamming other kids and stealing their pets.
Neteyam takes his well afternoon nap after two long hours of studying for next week test. After all he's one of the best male students of the whole school for something. Certenly they didn't gift him that title, he earned it.
Lo'ak on the other hand is on face time with Tsireya as he plays with his PS5 and vapes. His room perennially smelling like blue raz and other types of flavored air.
Quiet afternoons like this are rare most of the times the three older sibilings are always fighting over something, especially the twins always at each other throat over the most stupid things ever. Like who left the bathroom light on or who yelled at who first.
8:30 PM
"Kids! It's dinner time." Neyitiri screams from downstairs waiting for her children to come
She sits down, head of the table as Jake takes a seat on the other end. Soon enough the first one to come from upstairs is Neteyam, followed by Kiri and Tuk and lastly Lo'ak.
The four of them sits down at the dining table too. Kiri and Tuk sits next to each other while on the opposite end there's Neteyam and Lo'ak.
"So, how was school?" Jake asks with a raised eyebrow while taking a bite from the food
The three sibilings looks at each other before Kiri speaks first, voice raised and all.
"Lo'ak insulted the way I dress and then tried to fight my boyfriend." She exclaims while waving the fork in the air
Jake shakes his head and sighs already tired. Is there one day these two don't argue? He never gets between their fights anymore, it happened once and it was genuinely one of the most traumatizing experiences he ever faced.
"Well you look like a cheap drug addict and that fish lips you fuck isn't helping your image either." Lo'ak snaps while pointing a spoon towards Kiri direction
The girl bites her bottom lip and opens her mouth again to protest and to tell that idiot off, but before she can do so they can hear their mother hiss.
"Both of you stop! Watch your language in my house." She exclaims sternly before going back to eat
Kiri clears her troath and goes back to eat and Lo'ak stares at the woman for a few seconds before sitting straight and going back to eat too. If there is one thing they know is that they don't, under any circumstance, disobey Neytiri orders.
The family continues eating in silence, the only sound the one of the silverware scraping the plates. Once finished the kids help clear the table and load the dishwasher before retreating to their room and starting their night routine.
12:00 AM
Everyone at the Sullys house is sleeping ready for another day to happen.
