PLOT:

Augustine had lived with Winnie in there shared apartment. Augustine had never payed much attention to the stuff that happened with the super powered, thinking he was powerless himself. It isn't until there apartment ends up getting blown up in a huge fight between Frost and Sharp, when Frost makes a huge ice explosion before he passes out from his injuries.

Augustine, who was at the store at the time, rushes back only to find ice everywhere and ends up looking for Winnie, only to be told Winnie didn't make it and all of there stuff (beside the items Augustine had on him) was too destroyed to get back. He gets moved to another city and a new apartment by the government, but that doesn't help with all the stuff Augustine lost or the death of Winnie. This causes Augustine to get a hatred for the hero Frost, blaming him for the death of his best friend.

Augustine ends up discovering his powers when he ditches Winnie's funeral, after accidentally burning down a tree in anger. With his new power, he realizes he could get revenge for Winnie, having a power that perfectly contradicts Frost's power. So he makes the Villain Blaze, targeting Frost whenever he can.

Unbeknownst to Augustine, Winnie wasn't dead. In fact, he was a superhero long before they even shared an apartment. When he found out he had powers, he realized he could help people and got a job as a Hero. He sadly wasn't able to tell Augustine, so he made up a lie that he had a different job. Eventually, after Winnie became one of the top Heroes for his skill, he fights Sharp and almost gets killed, causing the ice explosion and gets put into a coma.

While Winnie is in a coma, the Hero association, being unable to show Winnie to anyone without reveling his identity, marks Winnie as dead to the public without his permission. When Winnie finally wakes up and he can't go back to his old life, he is devastated.

Three years after Winnie's 'death' and the villain Blaze appearing, Blaze gets captured by the Heroes. The Heroes don't take Augustine's identity, letting him keep his mask on, and they try to 'rehabilitate' Blaze.

Soon enough Augustine bonds to every Hero/Viilante he meets.. except Frost. They try to learn why Blaze hates frost so much. Augustine accuses Frost of being a killer, leaving everyone confused. Frost insists he isn't a killer, which just angers Augustine more.

Eventually, Augustine reveals his identity, and Winnie is shocked. Winnie reveals his identity in return, everything is great and happy reunion. Augustine becomes a Hero next to Winnie, the end.
