As Jimmy finished talking to Martyn he felt the buzz of his task appearing in his inventory. He walked over to their little wheat field and started to read it, “eat the heart of any green player.” Jimmy was shocked, he didn't think the red tasks would be like this.
As Jimmy walked back over to him Martyn noticed how pale Jimmy had gotten.
“Jimmy you all right, can’t handle your task” Martyn teased. “You can always roll a new one.”
“What no, I can do it, I just don’t know if i want to,” jimmy said.
“ well than if you think you can do it i would, you never know how difficult the reroll task might be,” Martyn pointed out.
“ You're probably right, it's just going to be gross,” Jimmy complained.
Now Jimmy just had to find a green name he could over power.
He spots grian over at the secret keeper but that would just end badly for him. Then just behind he spots love island. skizz would be perfect, He could totally take on skizz.
He makes his way over, being careful to avoid Willy. He pulls himself up and onto the island. Skizz is sadly not there but someone else is.
“Jimmy, what are you doing here?” Tango said with a little smile.
“You see I was looking for skizz, know where he is?” Jimmy asked.
“Nope” tango popped the p. “But i could help, what do you want?”.
“ I wanted his help with my task,” Jimmy answered truthfully.
“ um, Your red task Jimmy, you trying to hurt my team mate,” tango said slightly unseriously.
“ wel-l yes i suppose maybe,” jimmy stuttered.
“ Maybe I can help you instead, I still have all my lifes.”
“Tango i- i don’t know it’s pretty gruesome,” jimmy said warily.
“Jimmy, you're on red and I would like to see you not die first again,” Tango said deadpan.
That's a surprise, tango cares about him; i mean i really shouldn't be surprised but i am, they haven't hung out in forever.
Jimmy answers warily, “ Fine you can help but let's not do this here, I don't want the others to see.”
“ There's this room I minded out in that mountain.” Jimmy points to a little spot in the mountain that's behind Love island.
“Well All right then let's get going,” Tango said as he grabbed Jimmy's hand and started walking over.
Once they were there tango stood in the middle of the room.
“ So what do you want me to do,” he said with confidence.
“ Tango, are you sure you want to do this,” Jimmy asked, "it's going to hurt and you’d die.”
He's shaky, he doesn't want to hurt tango but he might not complete his task if he doesn't.
“ Jimmy I know and yet I am the one who suggested it and I'm still here, so Jimmy what should i do,” Tango said impatiently.
“Ok, um can you take off your shirt please and lay on the table, you might want to bite down on something too.”
Tango takes his shirt and belt off and hops up on the table, folding the belt and putting it in his mouth.
Jimmy pushes him flat on the table and hops on top of him; straddling him.
As Jimmy takes out his sword he says, “ I am really sorry.”
Jimmy brings the sword up to tango's chest, he places the tip of the sword just below where tango's clavicles end. He cuts from there all the way down to about tango's 7th rib.
And Tango screams, instinctively trying to buck jimmy off but jimmy holds him down. “I am sorry, I am sorry please hold still,” Jimmy says sympathetically. Tango squeezes Jimmy's arms, trying to tough the pain out. It will definitely leave bruises.
Jimmy pries open tango’s skin and muscles to get to the bones.
He's bleeding a lot. Blood is dripping down his stomach and off his chest onto the table. Jimmy's hands are covered in it.
“Tango this is going to hurt really really bad,” Jimmy said, not sure tango can even hear him.
Jimmy lifts the hilt of the sword up right above the body of tango’s ribs and slams it down. It didn't fully break the first time, Jimmy has to do it again.
Tango goes limp as Jimmy fully cracks his rib; passing out from the pain. More blood pours out of tango, coating the rest of his torso and Jimmy's arms.
Jimmy pulls out chunks of tango’s rib bones that are in the way. Jimmy can see tango's heart and he grabs it, he can feel it beating fast. Oh His rancher's heart in his hand.
He uses his sword to cut it out.
Jimmy brings the heart to his mouth, more blood dripping down his arm. He bites, tearing a chunk out. He gags at the taste, Tango's heart is chewy. blood floods his mouth; It drips down his face.
Tango's body starts to disappear, respawning.
After Jimmy has eaten the heart, he just sits there. He killed tango, He ate his heart. What were these tasks, why did he agree to do this again.
Tango respawns back on love island and he's pretty sure Jimmy's not come out of the room yet.
Tango goes back to find Jimmy still hunched on the table covered in his blood, not moving.
“Jimmy,” Tango says. Jimmy flinched, not expecting tango to come back. “ Tango I'm so sorry i-i,” jimmy studders out. “ Shhh Jimmy it's all right,” Tango is talking softly now. “Why don't we go to the secret keeper together.”
Tango helps Jimmy off the table, steadying him too. “ Come on,” Tango says as he pulls Jimmy out of the room and to the secret keeper.
Scar’s there when they get there. “ Oh gosh, what happened to you?” Scar says to Jimmy, very concerned. Jimmy’s silent for a while before tango answers for him,
“ He completed his task.” tango Pushes Jimmy up to the button. It jolts Jimmy out of his thoughts.
“Yup, red tasks can get messy,” Jimmy said shakily, looking to scar.
Jimmy pushed the button, the secret keeper glows purple. His body feels hot as he gets his hearts back. He got some diamonds too.
He hands them to tango. “ Please take them, it's the least I can do,” Jimmy whispered to Tango.
“ Jimmy, you really don't need to give me anything.” but the look on Jimmy's face made tango give in. He took the diamond just to ease Jimmy's guilt a little.
“Ok but you don't owe me anything else, now how about we go back to your base and get you cleaned up.”
“Ok.” Jimmy was still out of it but he took tango's hand and they stared to his base.
