Work Text:

Micheal clocked into work and settled down in his office. He had gotten the job in hopes to free his sister’s soul. He quickly went to go check the animatronic stages. He found nothing and decided to do a few controlled shocks. Still nothing. Meanwhile all the animatronics were conversing with Elizabeth.

“C’mon Baby, you can’t stay mad at him forever!” Freddy exclaimed. “You guys don’t get it. You guys aren’t stuck in an animatronic suit! My whole life was ruined and it’s all his fault! He ruined everything just by being a dick! It’s his fault my brother is dead! It’s his fault my dad built all these animatronics. It’s all his fault!” Elizabeth couldn’t even cry due to her being stuck in an animatronic now. “Baby, he came here to make things right. I know your mad. But the “incident” was an accident. A prank that went wrong. It’s your dad’s fault for being a insane maniac.” Ballora was trying her best to soothe and comfort her. Elizabeth knew she was telling the truth but she couldn’t admit it.

But then Foxy whispered to Bon Bon and Freddy. “What if we go somewhere else in an attempt to get her alone with Micheal so they can talk?” Bon Bon LOVED that idea. “We can go to the club.” He suggested. Freddy and Foxy quickly agreed. They just had to tell Ballora. Bon Bon was lifted up to Ballora’s ear to say “What if we go to the club and leave Baby so she can talk to her brother?” Ballora loved the idea of going to the club, but leaving Baby behind? “I don’t know, Baby might get mad.” She told them. “Oh c’mon let’s have a little fun” Freddy chimed in and Foxy did too.

They decided to all go back to their “stage’s” and then snuck out leaving Baby all alone. It didn’t take her long to realize. “Ballora?” she called out. No reply came back. Ballora was like a mother to her. Then Micheal checked the stage. He saw her. When Baby saw him, all grown up, here, just for her. She couldn’t take it. She quickly left her stage in hope of finding the others. Micheal tried to chase after her. “Elizabeth! Please! Just talk to me!” He yelled.

Micheal had always felt terrible about what happened with Evan. For years he felt that his dad went crazy and it was his fault. He knew what he did was wrong but he knew that his dad must’ve been crazy beforehand for him to react like this and become a serial killer. As Micheal chased after Elizabeth who was now Circus Baby, he couldn’t help but feel like a kid. Running, feeling his hair flow in the breeze of the AC reminded him of when him and Elizabeth when they were kids playing tag.

Meanwhile the Funtimes were having a great time at the club. Ballora was throwing it in a circle as Foxy was cheering her on and Bon Bon and Freddy were taking shots. They felt almost human. But Ballora couldn’t help but feel bad for Baby.

“I know we’re having fun right now guys but I think we should go back.” She said as she paused the music. They all knew she was right but they were having so much fun. “Oh c’mon!” Freddy exclaimed. “Ten more minutes.” Foxy pleaded. “Fine! Only ten.” She said as she turned the music back on.

Micheal, out of breath, decided to sit on the floor. His eyes began to swell up with tears. “Please Liz.” He said aloud. Then out of the dark she appeared. “Micheal” his eyes quickly shot up. “Liz!” He said as he smiled and gave her animatronic body a hug. She wrapped her heavy metal arms around him and gave him a tight hug. “Okay sis I think you’re stronger than me now!” He said as he chuckled. They both pulled away from the hug and sat down together.

“Liz, I’m sorry, for everything, but not all of this is my fault. I know what happened with Evan was all my fault. But you know how dad was before that! He never treated us how we deserved to be treated. Dad went crazy. He created what you are now. Circus Baby was created to kill. But you weren’t. Elizabeth, Dad sent me here to set you soul free and I know the last thing you would want is to listen to him but he asked me to do this because he cares about you. He’s always cared about us, that’s why he went crazy when Evan died. He lost his son, but that doesn’t justify his actions. Please Elizabeth, I want to make it up to you. Let me set you free.”

She felt human. Not robot. Human. Her emotions were raw. She started to see Micheal’s eyes swell up with tears. She didn’t want to see him cry. “Do it, I don’t want to see you cry.” She told him. “But don’t do this for me, do it for you!” He exclaimed.

But then the others walked in. They over heard everything. “Do it Elizabeth.” Ballora said like a proud mother. “But what about you guys?” She asked her voice starting to crack from sheer emotion. Ballora glanced at Micheal. “We’re not possessed by anything. Micheal please, take us apart. Burn our parts and please, give Elizabeth a proper funeral. She deserves it. We love her!” Ballora said as she opened her eyes. “When you destroy Circus baby you will find her bones, do what you want with them, bury them, cremate them, but just let her rest in peace.” Micheal nodded his head at Ballora’s words.

Elizabeth started saying her goodbyes to the others. Micheal quickly dismantled them and saved Ballora and Circus Baby for last. “Thank you for always being like a mother to me.” Elizabeth thanked Ballora. “Of course, you’re like my daughter.” They pulled each other into a tight hug and after Micheal dismantled Ballora.

When it was time to dismantle Circus Baby Micheal was hesitating. He started to cry. “Do it. It’s what Evan would want. Free me.” Elizabeth said. “Goodbye Elizabeth. I love you.” Micheal said. “Goodbye Micheal. I love you too” Elizabeth replied. He dismantled Circus Baby. But then he saw something. Her.

Her ginger hair, her pink skirt, he knew it was Elizabeth. He ran and gave her ghost a hug. She then began faded away. Micheal continued to cry as he was breaking off the pieces of Circus Baby. But then he found them. Her bones. He placed them into a bag and when he was done with all his work he left the building proud. She was buried in the same cemetery as Evan, right next to him. Micheal always made sure to visit them. He knew he did the right thing.

Notes:

Thank you so much for reading! Should I make a prequel and or a sequel?!
