Leo was a little nervous about returning home, if he was honest with himself. As sure as he was that his mom would be more than happy to have him back, the events of the past two weeks would be a little hard to explain.
What was he even going to say to her?
‘Hola mamá. Sorry I disappeared. My godly abuela sort of kidnapped me after robotics and dumped me on a random bus in Arizona. I’m fine, though! How have you been?’
Yeah, that probably wasn’t going to cut it.
At least he had actual friends to bring home for the first time ever. She’d definitely be thrilled about that.

Summary
The plan didn't work so he's alive, and somehow, miraculously, so is Jason.
A lot of people aren't. Campers from both camps he didn't know and a couple that he did. Some that had made it through the last war, which from the stories that he'd heard was even worse than this war. Percy had known them all and Leo can't think about that for too long or he'll cry and he's already decided not to do that.
It's so bloody unfair. He went in to the final battle expecting to, planning to, die, and he's one of the survivors. Maybe it'd be different if he had died. Maybe someone else would have made it out alive.
OR: the war with gaea is over and leo's alive. He's not coping well, good thing the rest of the lost trio are there for him. they're all there for each other. :)

Summary
The quest to earn Jason’s first college recommendation letter had gone almost too well. The second one was currently trying to make up for this by being a massive pain in the ass.
After trips to three different sacred libraries and hours of stumbling through a cave system in the dark, Piper should have wanted nothing more than to have this stupid quest over and done with.
Except, well… the completion of their quest required them to find the Mnemosyne—the Fountain of Memory. And considering no one had ever bothered to fix the mess that the Mist had made of Leo and Piper’s memories, or the mess that the Queen of the Heavens had made of Jason’s… maybe there were things Piper wanted just a little more than going home.
