Less than a test of their strength and more to remind him of their presence, Keith swallowed thickly. He turned onto his right cheek, hooded gaze landing on the glowing green numbers of the beach themed digital clock Lance insisted on buying a couple of months ago. It was 9:39pm, and Lance had been gone for 27 minutes.
