Summary
Tearnanog has finished her Wyld Hunt, and she and the Pact are now working towards recovery and cataloguing Arah's endless artifacts. Office work, however, has never been Tearnanog's style. Troubling events have been popping up around Tyria, and Tearnanog believes they are related. Convincing Trahearne that it has to do with Dragon magic, though, is proving difficult; without the aid of the Pact, the Commander will have to find an odd cadre of allies to help her investigate.

Summary
Tearnanog has left her Vigil post in Ascalon at the beckoning of her Mentor, Caithe, and the Pale Tree. They claim she will be undertaking missions that will further her Wyld Hunt - to end Elder Dragons - but Tearnanog is not so certain. Caithe and her had never got on well together, so Tearnanog is grateful to paired on her mission with Trahearne. The First of Firstborns is not who she expected him to be, and as they travel through Tyria, Tearnanog learns more than just magic from the Firstborn. Their unlikely partnership is put under fire when the two must figure out how to forge a pact out of the three squabbling Orders of Tyria. Their goal: End the Elder Dragon Zhaitan.
