   I've been on a bit of a binge of time-travel fix-it fics lately, and seeing one told (or at least primarily told) from the perspective of those who aren't the time traveler is cool and one I don't think I've seen before.

   Ruby being able to at least somewhat perceive the non-diegetic goings-on is pretty funny. (I'm not all that familiar with RWBY so I'm not sure if that kind of lampshading was common in in the show.)

      Weiss is hiding something more than just time travel and I would prefer to be told later in the story, so that's why you'll probably won't see her's perspective in the near future.
