I think that this is a wonderful fic. Very touching and exasperating in equal measures. Aemond is the epitome of "Middle Child" syndrome IMO in a whole family that's emotionally constipated and prideful. You're not getting a genuine "I love you," or "please take care of yourself, I worry for you," unless they're half way dead. You'd have an easier time pulling teeth.
So to see how many people stayed up and worried for him must be so confusing to this baby.

His little mind cant comprehend it, it seems especially cruel that they show signs of noticing him now but never on his birthdays or any other day where he needed or just wanted their attention.
