    I was really trying to balance those two elements, of the hurt AND the comfort in hurt/comfort, so I'm glad the sad/hopefulness came across well!

    I am just such a sucker for tender moments and post-resurrection Leonard, so while this fic was a bit of a struggle getting out, in terms of tone (ask me sometime about the moment when I half-accidentally wrote a sex-joke into this and had to cut that line of dialogue)... I'm super happy that you loved it!
