Comment on The Golden Quiche

  1. Why is Sans's HP so low? especially in comparison to Papyrus or to Gaster's theorised HP, he trains on a running machine and sleeps a lot so you'd think it would be better, especially since he is unaffected by the extreme temperatures of Hot Lands, works with spikes and other dangerous puzzles, lives off high HP foods like hot dogs and pie, and took the giant vine from Flowey like a boss, the same vine which even Undyne and Asgore got hurt by, would he even be allowed legally have a sentry job, how does this single 1 represent the durability of all his bones? sorry, I really like the story, I just never understand the 1 HP thing because of his behaviour and stuff and the fact that this is not so much an HP but a glitch prevention, a bit like how box Mettaton has 9999 DEF or more, Asgore has negative 30 DEF, or So Sorry always taking 11 hits to kill regardless of ATK or accuracy or how Omega Floweys stats can't even be found.

    1. The 1 HP is not the durability of his bones, but the durability of his SOUL. The 1 HP thing is important for a different reason, which Sans himself doesn't fully grasp until much later in the story. (about chapter 98 ish)

There are some things to keep in mind while writing GQ.

      1. Release all headcanons. The story explains itself in its own setting, so preconceived headcanons might get in the way.
      2. Stats are relative numbers and real physics take precedence.
      3. Details take time to unfold. Things that are strange now make sense later.
