  1. Yes, this is set in about 2005.

    EO means "Executive Officer", which is what Stane's actual job was in the company.

    I'm glad you're enjoying it. It was plot bunny that just wouldn't leave me alone until I wrote it. :)

      I thought Tony was the EO after he took over from Stane and Stane was the CFO.

      It took me a few seconds to realize what EO is, because I'm accustomed to it being XO for Executive Officer. I picked that up from military usage in Stargate Atlantis, but it's also commonly used in businesses. Titles and associated responsibilities vary of course, and one isn't more 'correct' than another.

      Wikipedia seems to lean towards XO, though.
