Wow, this was just amazing, I don't even know where to start! Loved the switching between languages (and that Japanese is what Shiro remembers), how Shiro identified himself as Champion, how Shiro first catalogued Keith (because how strange it must be to see another human after so long!), the gamut of emotions Shiro experiences in learning that there was more to him than the past five years (him not knowing Earth was just utterly heartbreaking), that last sentence (Keith's determination is so tangible). This was really well-written, great pacing and thank you so much for sharing, and would not at all be adverse to reading more of this!
It's so awesome to hear that! Thanks for such a well thought out comment. I was a bit worried that I might screw up the pacing because the entirety of the story takes place in a single room, but am glad you liked it. I'm already working on more chapters to add to this, but, like I said in the notes at the end, am currently working on larger project right now so those might not be out for a while. Fun fact, this story actually started as a cure for writer's block from that other project I mentioned.
