I seriously have no idea how I missed the fact that there's a recording of (not so) pure imagination. I went through the entirety of Sterek podfics on ao3 several times, and I love the story (I spent a ridiculous amount of time searching for it after I lost the link the first time). But, thanks for letting me know! Just so you know, even though Thilia is undoubtedly good, I still wouldn't complain if you decided to record it, too (But seriously, only record what you feel like recording). I want to tell you so much about "The Adventurer" movie. I want to get into discussions about it ^^; The comment section isn't the perfect place for that, so I'll refrain anyway, but let me know if you decide to actually watch it :) Maybe we can figure out a way to communicate outside of comments eventually, and in that case, I would love to discuss it with you :)
Thank you again for this podfic. I was screaming at my best friend via Discord for about an hour after I found it, hopelessly overwhelmed with emotion. It seriously made me so happy :)
Also, the main reason why I still take the time to leave comments on your work, and will continue to do so, is because you appreciate the comments you get, and you answer them :) I find myself getting less motivated to comment if someone never answers any comment, and tend to leave shorter comments in those cases. You're just a very nice person, on top of being very good at what you do, so it's really easy to tell you how well you did on each of your works :)
Also, I really appreciate the work you put into those podfics, whcih deserves recognition. So, thank you for all of them :)
Thank you, thank you, thank you for commenting! I knew long before I started recording that podfics just don't get much feedback, and it's not a primary reason that I podfic or post, but it's still so rewarding and inspiring to receive.
I myself am not nearly as good about leaving feedback as I would like to be (I'm trying to improve!), but I treasure each comment that I get, and I write back because I want to make sure you know how much it means to me, and of course, because you also seem like a wonderful person to talk with.
That said, just as you urged me to only record what I feel like, please don't feel that you need to listen to podfics of mine that don't align with what makes you happy — I know that not all of our ships match up (I got into Avengers a few months before the first movie was released and imprinted on Steve/Tony, and while I completely understand the Stucky love, I just can't make the switch to a conflicting OTP) and the list of things I've started or would like to podfic is a pretty eclectic mix of fandoms, to say nothing of personal tastes about content even within a shared fandom or ship, and I wouldn't ever want you to feel pressured to engage with a story that you don't think you would enjoy.
I have finally given in and created accounts on Tumblr, Dreamwidth (old school, I know), and Discord, and am still AceOfTigers on all the things (and who knows, Twitter may yet come to pass as well). That said, I know very little about how to use any of them and have done truly nothing on them so far, plus I picked a terrible time to start because work has been bananas for the last few weeks and promises to continue in the same vein for several more! Still, feel free to hit me up in any of those places, and maybe I'll be able to figure them out and sync up with you somewhere outside an AO3 comment thread. :D
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Okay, first of all, SORRY that it took me so long to reply - I was INCREDIBLY EXCITED to read that you might actually be reachable outside of ao3, but you caught me at a really bad time ^^; (I was away and busy all of last week). I'm back now and pretty much immediately tried to find you, but couldn't :/ I don't have Dreamwidth, and Discord tells me it needs the numbers behind your name for me to find you; an ao3 comment thread might not be the best place to exchange those, so I tried tumblr and failed utterly. All I could find are people talking about how great your podfics are (which I obviously agree with, so that made me very happy ^^ )
If you do have a tumblr page, is there any way for you to share the link?
Also: THANK YOU for the awesome reply and for letting me know all those things. I really want to talk to you about a few things in detail, so I'm waiting with that til we're able to talk outside of these comments :)
