This is the best thing I've read in a long time... and I read fanfiction everyday. I've been looking for a story about Blondie and a female protagonist for sooo long and yours is the one and only I have found so far. Yet it is not the sole reason it is so good. Your writing style is so constructed and nice. It's easy to read and the characters are so consistent. You manage, I don't know how, to give it all a western ambiance and I was just captivated during all the story. The only thing I will say is that the actions and the intentions of certain characters are not always really clear. The actions of the Baxters and the Rojo especially (but it's maybe because I haven't watched the movie in so long). I would also say I was not bothered at all by the length and I could have read twice as much if you did write it. I would have learned to learn more about Sara and her backgrounds. She forgets everything about her past and we just never mention it back. Maybe having a conversation where she explains it to Blondie or just casual conversations with him would have been interesting even if mister is not a big talker XD. Either way I absolutely loved it and will definitely read if you decide to write more (and if anyone knows any other fanfictions about Blondie in this style I would love to know T°T ) Thanks so much and have a great day!!!

I definitely considered focusing more on the mystery of Y/N's background, but the story developed the way that it did and it ended up just not fitting into the flow of things. If I ever make a sequel or any sort of one-shot within this storyline then it will definitely be something to explore.
The drawback to writing from the perspective of someone who finds out about a lot of the movie's action secondhand is that the motivations of some characters won't be as clear, simply because the person whose perspective you're writing from also doesn't really know. A lot of the scenes from the movie are only spoken about or hinted at, for example the shootout in the graveyard. It definitely helps to have watched the movie recently if you want to have a better understanding of the characters apart from Y/N.
I'm so glad you enjoyed it (and didn't mind the length), and I wish I could give you recs for similar fics, but unfortunately I have yet to find any. That was one of the motivations for me to actually write this, I wanted to introduce something to this very niche fandom that I hadn't been able to find anywhere else.
