Artemis does have kind of an ulterior motive here (as revealed a little later in the chapter), but I also do think she has genuine faith in Apollo's capabilities. So little bit of both there I think ;)
I realized way after I put that line about looking to the sky for strength in that it implies Zeus is still alive and kicking in this universe, which I was trying to avoid confirming either way but Oh Well. I like the joke too much to get rid of it so we can just assume Zeus got very chill about a lot of things very fast.
Re: the privilege thing YES Apollo is definitely starting to understand it (or at least stop pretending that he didn't all along) but he's not all the way there yet. Admittedly I don't think I put QUITE as much thought into it as all your analysis, but I really like the way you're interpreting it (and i love reading your analyses so i def don't mind)!

He has done that. The first proper story I posted was of something he'd told me about, so I got to call dibs on subsequent occasions where the gods found out about 'EPIC'
