I love the plot you've set up here, with the change of Jango using Ventress' head as a courting gift leaving Ahsoka in the lurch with no easy way to clear her name, that was such a perfect way for the thread of Jango's courtship to intersect with this arc!
I'm so curious about what's going on with Cody and Rex and presumably also Fox, what all they know about Jango's intentions and involvement with Obi-Wan, and what they think of it! I almost assumed that Cody at least was on board with whatever Fett's plan is based on the way he worked to dig up that evidence so quickly and also seemed to support the truces with Jango, but his protective attitude toward Obi-Wan and especially the way he seemed to be actually trying to kill Jango don't quite fit in with my theory there, at least not yet!
Obi-Wan is so willfully ignoring all the evidence piling up about what Jango wants from him (and not even touching his own opinions on the matter) was so entertaining, oh man! The way he kept all of the courting gifts and tokens Jango has been leaving for him was very interesting, but the idea of Boba also getting him gifts is actually kinda sweet!
It ached to see Anakin's opinions on Obi-Wan and the Order, especially in the face of how open Palpatine and Tarkin were about their intentions about all this; he's so uncharitable toward Obi-Wan too even after Obi-Wan explicitly acknowledges his own feelings and willingness to break the rules for Anakin and Ahsoka's benefit, oh ouch
Obi-Wan's so aware of those double standards in Anakin's mind too, goddamn that hurt
Obi-Wan's performance in front of Mace and then Tarkin was so delightful, oh my god! He managed that situation beautifully, heh!
Your twist on Barriss' motives in framing Ahsoka was so neat as well, I love how you further emphasized their friendship to make the betrayal ache all the more, oh man!
I can't wait to see what Jango's going to use his blank check for, heh! Honestly though, I'm surprised he didn't just spell it out sooner, he had to know that Obi-Wan was desperate enough to agree regardless of what it's going to be; I'm sure it'll be exciting to figure out his reasoning too!
