    I’m not sure who the girl killer is, but I think the guy killer might be Taro - first off, it makes sense that the love interest of the main target would be one of the killers (although I don’t know all the movies super well), and he made that whole “I think I’m the target speech” potentially to make him look innocent a few chapters back. Additionally, he seems awfully nonchalant about watching the movies in the middle of the investigation....
    I also voted for Osaka bc she’s Taro’s friend, but... I’m really not sure who the girl is.

      Interesting thoughts you have, though of course you'll have to wait until near the end to find out.
      If you do think it's Taro and Osana(?), what do you think his/their motives are?

        As for motives, I saw a theory that Taro could potentially be the journalist’s son. If that’s the case here, then he could potentially be targeting her as revenge for his father. I’m not quite sure what Osaka’s motive would be - unless she thinks she would eventually end up a target based on what Ryoba did.
        I do, however, think that whoever the killer is definitely has some sort of connection to the journalist.
        Also...... I’ve noticed that I haven’t really seen Info-chan. Does she exist in this story, does she not, or is not something you don’t want to reveal yet?

          That's an interesting perspective, and it could very well be the case that the killer is in some way connected to the journalist, if not the journalist himself.
          As for Info-chan, she herself does not exist but I gave some of her qualities (glasses, snark and knowledge of Akademi high, etc...) to Yui

            Ah I see...
            After re-reading the chapter, I almost wonder if Yui is one of the culprits - what made me think so is the fact that she knew about the hidden pipes in the bathroom from the school website, but she seemed to have no idea how the killer could have POSSIBLY escaped from the bathroom after attacking Ayano, going as far as to doubt her publicly....
            Or maybe I'm reading way too much into the absolute wrong things lmao
