      I appreciate the feedback! This was always the plan for this fic, so it was a neat reminder that other people don't know what's coming because it only seems so obvious to my brain because I'm writing it!

        Haha, thanks for the fic! I'm quite enjoying it!

        I think I was anticipating a whole investigation into all of Anakin's contacts, and maybe the Jedi (or the clones) putting 2 and 2 together and figuring out that the Chancellor is extremely sus, and then having to figure out what to do about it...

        But then Fox beat them all to the punch by straight up murdering the fucker, apparently in some sort of protective rage, and I am 100% here for Fox getting to murder Palpatine as a treat, but yeah I was a bit surprised. :D

          I'm so glad you're enjoying it!
          It's great to hear I was able to surprise somebody with the turns this fic took, as I often feel like my writing is predictable. And I do love fics like the investigation type ones you mentioned, but one of my original notes for this fic was 'Fox the overprotective ori'vod gets to kill Palpatine, as a treat', soooo.......😆🤣
