      That moment caught me by surprise as well. I had Beauty singing with the bronzes and browns because we know they do that, and Lazybones had to have grown up, at least a bit. But then Uncle's voice popped up in my head and told me he wanted to sing too, and it fit so well that I wrote it into the story.

      One of the joys of being a writer is that your characters sometimes surprise you.

        I know that feeling... (I've had a side character take off into her own story...) I loved Uncle singing for Old Uncle, I felt that was probably one of those times.
