    Fun story, Fun premise.
    Just a question why are the french not at the negociation table on a nation that spawn on their side of the channel ?
    I can understand that the britsh did the first contact but there is massive disruption on the biggest seaway trade hotspot on the planet and the 2nd biggest military power of Europe is'nt patroling its own water ? And Fleet wise british supremacy over the french fleet is long gone at this point.
    (I mean the UK does protect the channel Island but most of the water around it sovereign french water, a new city state closer to french territory than british territory and the british are the one in charge alone seems absurd, I mean french forces are usually closer than the british one)
