It sometimes hurts to read their stories, especially Jason's. But one I feel was swept under the rug is Dicks and the Tarantula incident. Like I don't think it was talked about until later.
That’s so real, I was planing on making Arya kill Tarantula off too. Though idk how it would make Dick feel about it, I think he’d be relieved but also guilty about it- I just don’t know😭😭😭
I don't think that'd be good, considering that right before Catalina SA'd Dick, she took advantage of his panic at everything that was going on at the time and killed Blockbuster. It was a lot.
It's...truly hard to talk about this subject. I mean, it's rarely talked about for men, cause we hear about how it happens more so to young girls, children and women. So, when I think about his situation, I know he isn't real, but it hurts my heart. That's why, In one of my stories, I'm gonna bring it up in a later chapter, cause it needs to be talked about. And I know there are plenty of stories that talk about it. There's a picture of Jason hugging Dick and telling him it's okay, she can't hurt you now on Pinterest. Not sure if those were the words exactly, but I feel like that's what's he said.
About the men thing, I think that’s so true! Like I remember seeing a Reddit post abt a guy finding out his dad was SA’d after his dad passed and the way he saw him all those years ago on that day which he was SA’d. The fact he was silent about it and the way he couldn’t ask for help due to him being a ‘man’ and traditional AND societal standards was truly heartbreaking.
Jason hugging Dick and telling him that “it’s okay” and comforting him and making hime feel more human and not anything less is such a headcanon and goes along with his character and his role as Red Hood since he does naturally help the sex workers in Gotham and I feel like the women feel much safer with him being around too. (I hope the chapter your write up will go well💪💪 people need more awareness about this subject fr 😞)
There are so many stories out there that need to be told. And I actually found the picture I was talking about not too long ago. It still breaks my heart. And I'm going to try and bring up the subject in my story the best I can, without going to far. So I appreciate you encouraging me 😊
