Yes, I was thinking of the difference as more of a class thing--Kal's family doesn't have the luxury of having boys/househusbands raised to be decorative and just do party planning the way Marcus' family did, so the women are still head of household but they're more willing to accept that Kal has had to support himself. ❤️❤️❤️
