    heheheh the thong line sent me. who knew he could have such a sense of humor.

    the whole part where newt goes from in bed with Maya, to candles, to the water rushing in to being in the Kaiju drift felt so visceral and I could picture it all so clearly.

        Nooo it’s perfect! I think for two reasons:

        1) he probably unironically would wear a speedo tot he beach thinking everyone else would too and feel so uncomfortable about it.

        2) I can also see him taking things to extremes to try to catch newt off guard to get a rise out of him.
