Chapter Text

In hindsight, it wasn’t a really good idea to simply kidnap an abused experimented child and decide to raise them yourself. But Dabi was a stubborn fucker and Eri’s bandaged body bought many memories from Before for him to let her go somewhere else where he couldn’t see her.

And yeah, he’s suffering from losing constant hours of sleep from going to all possible jobs around the entire city at night to bring money home and taking care of Eri during the day but-

He takes naps while Eri does, he showers after coming home because he doesn’t want her to smell blood or any other substances, he eats as well so Eri does too because she’s afraid to eat alone.

Dabi is managing just fine.

His hair is starting to grow white but he can’t dye it because Eri had used the black hair dye when playing and fuck- Dabi isn’t going to buy more this month, even though he loses a little bit more of his sanity everytime he looks in the mirror.

But it’s okay because Eri had claimed excitedly that they matched when she saw his roots and she calls him ‘Touchan’ instead of Dabi, hugs him goodbye when he needs to go out and really, it’s-

It’s fine, everything's a-okay.

What is not okay, is the stupid ringing of his phone when Eri and him are in the middle of nap time for fucks sake.

With a groan, he pushes himself and stretches his hand out, grabbing the device from the nightstand, careful to not move too much just in case he jostles Eri, who remains blissfully unaware and sleeping on the side of the bed that is against the wall.

Dabi regrets answering at all when screams come out from the other side, recognizing the voices very well.

“Dabi-kun!” And there she is, Himiko Toga. He had wondered how long it would take for her to call, given that he’s been gone for a week and a half from the base.

“Himiko.” He greets, before a yawn comes out of him to which she replies with ‘Ooo’ , whatever that means. Dabi is definitely not awake enough for this. “What’d you want, brat?” He asks. Better to get this over with.

“Shiggy told us you’re…” She pauses, likely meaning to make it dramatic but all Dabi can think of is how much he wants to hang up. “A dad!”

If that isn’t enough to abruptly wake him up all the way, the screams of ‘celebration’ that come after Toga’s exclamation with Twice’s voice surely is. He sits up, using his free hand to run a hand through his face, careful of not catching any staples with each other or aggravate some new ones.

He fails, pulling one by mistake and he hisses, hunching in pain and not hearing whatever Himiko or whoever else is there talking on the phone. Earlier today, Dabi had come just in time to have a moment alone before Eri woke up for breakfast to re-staple some parts that had come out during one of those jobs. It was a fast job so he must have been sloppy when putting some.

It was a pain but that was life.

The kid had woken up just as he had stapled and showered himself to get rid of the smell of burnt flesh, smoke and blood, coming right out the bathroom to begin with breakfast for two, some frozen waffles with berries and a glass of strawberry milk, Eri’s new favorite flavor.

She had loved it, obviously, and claimed they had to eat this yummy food everyday.

Focusing once again, he notices his child had moved a little towards him, clutching with one hand Rindou The Bear and the other extended towards him. She has a frown on her face that soothes when he holds her hand.

“Dabi?” It’s Mister Compress' voice this time coming from the speaker, his voice a little muffled likely from using a mask.

Mm ?” He doesn’t have much energy to talk anymore, he just wants to sleep.

“Are you alright, dear? Himiko said you sounded pained just now.” He asks and Dabi finds it within himself to smile. He doesn’t want to get attached to the league, at least not too much, but the way each member cares for the others always leaves a sweet feeling of warmth within his chest.

“Yeah, ’s okay. Just caught a staple by mistake.” Dabi feels a wet slide on his face and he decides to keep the phone close by maintaining it between his left shoulder and ear, using the now free hand to touch where the staple popped, feeling the pouring blood stain his fingers. His right hand is still holding Eri’s. “Was wondering why the call, though. It’s nap time and I was sleeping.”

Compress laughs lightheartedly before speaking, the speaker crackling a little, “You have a nap time now? That’s funny but it’s good you’re sleeping, Dabi.” He says, followed by a sigh before continuing, “The League, besides Shigaraki of course, has just found out that you had a child and were very curious about it, even wanting to meet them. As long as you don’t mind, of course.”

He grimaces when he sees the amount of blood in his palm, wiping it on his trousers before grabbing once again the phone with his hand. “I’m not sure yet. I’ll have to think things through, Mister .” It’s a dismissal, loud and clear.

The League is not an environment where one can raise a kid in and Dabi’s not sure he can take care of her half the time. Besides, her identity is related to the Shie Hassaikai and Overhaul himself. He doesn’t want Shigaraki or someone else to use Eri again, the nights where her nightmares are strong are enough.

“Very well,” Acceptance. “I appreciate that you answered at all.” A new voice comes from the background after the magician finishes talking, a few words are exchanged, too low to be picked up by the shitty phones they own before the other appears again. “Sorry, Magne wants to talk to you now, if that’s alright.”

“Mm, sure.”

“Dabi-kun, my dear!” Magne’s voice is sweet and caring. Despite her earlier attempts at flirting with him during their early relationship, they have managed to develop a nice friendship. Although the pet names still have a part in their conversations from the woman’s side.

“Magne, how’re you? Heard you got some new legs and arm from Giran.” She had gotten too cocky and attacked Overhaul during his first meeting with The LOV and it had cost a leg and a half, along with her right arm and the same side of her face ending up a bit deformed. Not to mention her newly blind eye.

From what he was told by Toga and Shigaraki during their wait outside The Doctor’s room, Compress had used his quirk to turn her into a marble and lost his arm in the process as well, but they had managed to save her before it was too late.

Dabi now had more than enough reasons to burn Overhaul to the ground.

Magne, Compress, Eri.

His thoughts are interrupted by the woman herself, “Ah, yes dearie! He said it took too long because I needed proper support for me to walk, such a gentleman, isn’t he?” She sighs dreamily and Dabi murmurs in agreement. “The arm is good as well, quite hard to get used to but practicing with Atsuhiro-kun is always nice!”

Dabi gets up from the bed, letting go of Eri’s hand before making his way toward the dresser, phone on speaker to continue chatting while looking for clothes. There’s simply no chance he can go back to sleep now and it’s almost the same time he gets up usually.

“Anyways Dabi, how are you? Hearing you are a parent was surprising but I don’t know, it kinda suits you!” Magne’s voice sounds like a breeze you’d feel on the beach and her statement warms his heart.

“You think so?” He puts on an old striped shirt and looks for other pants. The ones he’s wearing have his blood on them and he’d rather Eri not know that. “I’ve been good, not much sleep though.”

It’s always easy to talk to Magne, with the fact that she’s barely a few years older than him. Spinner and Shigaraki are closest to him in terms of age but they're socially incompetent freaks to actually make good conversation with.

“I do! I bet you make a really good dad. I’m still confused about one thing though.” She trails off, starting to whisper. “Did you really knock up a girl? Cuz’ last I knew, you were gay. ” She emphasizes the last word and Dabi honest-to-god snorts.

Gee , don’t make it sound like a slur,” He responds while picking the outfit of the day for the kiddo. “I picked her up. Illegally. Don’t tell anyone though, much less Shigaraki.”

“Lips sealed, gay boy.” Dabi can imagine the motion of Magne zipping up her lips, the same way she had done after he came out to her during a sleepless night. “Wait,” She pauses. “Is your child the one missing from the Yakuza?”She hisses, accusing.

Dabi answers rapidly, mouth running before brain, “Your lips are already sealed ma’am, no backing up now.”

After a few seconds of silence from her part, a sigh is heard before “Fine. What’s their name then?”.

Her name is Eri.” He corrects and Magne snickers at how defensive he sounds, “That’s what she told me, anyways.” He adds, putting her light brown boots beside the clothes he’s chosen. The cold is slowly starting to pick up so he picked a soft green sweater over a white shirt with some gray jeans.

“That’s such a cute name, I can’t believe you’re a girl-dad! ” She exclaims and it’s loud enough to make Eri groan tiredly, one eye opening. “Was that her?”

“Yeah, nap time’s over I guess.” Dabi yawns as he watches Eri stretch her arms over her head, hair sticking up wildly. A thought comes into his head upon seeing her hair. “Do ya’ know how to cut hair nicely?”

Magne hums over the phone before responding, “Kind of? I do my own hair and sometimes I cut Himiko-chan’s when she asks me to. Do you need a haircut or something?”

“Or something.” It’s what he settles with before Eri’s form appears at his side.

“Touchan!” She calls out, “Good afta- afternoon!” Her arms hug around his midsection and hold tightly before she’s dangling from him, legs not touching the ground. “Who’re you talkin’ to?”

“Hey Eri, I’m speaking to a friend.” He mutters one sec- to the phone before crouching, whispering to Eri. “Her name’s Magne. Do you wanna talk to her?”

“Yes, please!” She screams out of excitement and makes grabby hands to the phone.

“Eri wants to talk, behave.” Dabi puts the phone on speaker to hear the conversation.

“Hi Eri! I’m Magne, how are you?”

“Hello Miss Magne! I’m okay.” The kid manages to put on her shirt alone, only silently asking for Dabi’s help when she almost falls when pulling up her jeans.

“Your dad here just told me you needed a haircut and I know how to do it, would you like me to cut your hair?” Magne’s voice is soft when speaking to the child.

She better be, that’s Eri who she’s talking with.

“A haircut?” She glances at him and at his nod, she responds “Okay! If Daddy says I need it then maybe I should. My hair is kinda long.” Eri nods at her logic, making Dabi snicker.

“You’re such a sweetheart, Eri!” The kid gasps at the compliment, “Totally not like your dad” Magne cackles at her own comment.

“My dad is very sweet,” Eri protests with a pout. “He makes really good waffles!” She follows with, after putting on her boots.

“Ah, sorry then, sweetie! Wha- ” Sounds of something falling and stuff moving come across the phone, “ Shit-

“Dabi! I heard Sister Magne say you were a girl-dad! ” Himiko squeals and there’s more background noise. “Twice and I wanna visit, I wanna meet your daughter!” Eri looks intimidated by the voice from the phone so he puts the call off-speaker.

“Goodbye Crazy.” He hangs up, not before hearing a Wait- Dabi-!

“She was kinda scary…” The kid looks up to him, holding onto the hem of his shirt. Her eyes open in worry when she sees his face, “You’re hurt!”

“ She was kinda scary, wasn’t she?” his daughter nods but she still looks worried. “It’s okay squirt, doesn’t really hurt. We can put a bandage on it if you want, come on.”

Eri grabs his hand and leads him to the bathroom, where she puts a Hello Kitty band-aid over the scar below his eye and a kiss to ‘make it better.”

Chapter 2: Babysitting for Dummies (ft. The LoV)

Summary:

“Perhaps it wasn’t a good idea to follow Miss Magne, Toga.” Compress says, squeezed between Twice and Toga behind the alley where the three of them had followed after their colleague.

“It’s fine, Mister!” Toga rolls her eyes in teenager fashion, elongating the i for dramatics effects. “I’m sure Dabi won’t mind, trust me.”

“Let’s play Monopoly!” Himiko suggests, making grabby hands at Sako, who with a grumble grabs a marble from his pocket and releases it, letting the box of the game out.

“I thought we agreed to never play this thing again after last time.” Dabi says, exhaustion sticking to his frame.

Magne snorts, “Well, the banned player is not here so we don’t have to worry about certain pieces being dusted.”

Notes:

So, funny thing actually- the day I posted Part 1 of this fic I felt so much pain that I went to the doctor and got given 2 free days to rest so I used it to write Part 2!

As usual, English is not my first language so if there are any mistakes or something doesn't make sense, I apologize.

Chapter Text

Magne was a woman of many skills.

She could make art pieces that left people breathless at times, beat people up to a pulp if the situation warranted, dance on shows when her drag sisters asked for her, go through the most horrible situations as a trans woman and come out alive of them and many more things, like cutting hair, apparently.

If only the world had prepared her for what a nightmare babysitting was.

The worst is that it isn’t even Eri’s fault.

She is the sweetest and most caring kid Magne had the honor of spending time with, which was a very short list that contained annoying cousins from the family that had kicked her out.

But god, it was hard. Interacting with kids is difficult, you have to make sure not to say bad words or slip up and comment about certain things like villainy around them and play games like one of being a dragon that fights with whatever invisible force that is against you because they want to kidnap the princess and many other activities.

It’s hard.

And Magne hasn’t even been here alone with the kiddo for more than two hours!

It’s strenuous to move so much when her body and mind haven’t gotten used to her many prosthesis’ yet but she’s a strong minded woman and so she pushes through, only stopping when Eri herself tires out and needs to take a break.

It’s mind boggling how a child can have so much energy in such a tiny body, much less how can Dabi keep up with her, considering the man’s body is a breeze away from falling apart at the seams about half the time.

Regardless, it’s obvious from how the apartment looks that the villain makes sure to give Eri all she needs and more, making the once dingy place a warm home.

There are mismatched colored chairs with flowers on them, a couch full of colorful cushions, mugs and plastic plates with certain cartoon drawings that Magne has seen on a screen when passing by TV stores, a box full of new and old toys and a lot of food and snacks that the kid seems to love.

Not to talk about the dresser that’s more than fifty percent occupied by the girl’s clothes, all brand new and all being made from soft textures.

Magne can’t really believe yet how much Dabi seems to care for the kid. For a man who seemed to not have any other motive or purpose to live other than to destroy heroes and society as a whole, he seems to have found a more solid reason.

One that can care for Dabi the same way he does for her.

When she glances to her right, Eri has fallen asleep on the couch and Magne thinks that maybe she should too. She passes out from exhaustion in the bedroom on top of a bed covered with soft colored fluffy blankets after covering the kiddo with a blue one with stars embroidered in it.

She doesn’t see a problem with it, Dabi is bound to come back anytime soon. I’ll be gone for two hours and a half, tops. Just an emergency at one of my jobs, don’t worry. Sleep on the bed if you need, naptime is soon anyway.

Atsuhiro doesn’t trust her, much less that Dabi won’t find out and kick their asses to next weekend for even standing outside his apartment complex, if it can even be called that.

The building seems to be decaying away, chips, bits and pieces of bricks slowly falling apart from it, broken windows with cardboard or black bags duct taped to the frames to hold it all together.

“I think I saw her press the button to apartment A5 on the call-thingy. Uh, no. It actually was 13, dumbass!” Twice’s voice brings him out of his head and he focuses on the panel at the entrance.

“There’s no floor 13, Twice.”

“You’re right. No you’re not, you idiot! Sorry.” Jin shakes his head and bows slightly in apology. Though he lets Compress push him up to stand upright without any complaints.

“It’s okay, dear.”

“I’m pretty sure it was A5, thank you for observing Jin!” Toga skips towards the door, leaving her adult teammates to follow. “And now- we break in!” She kicks at the entrance door to the building, easily opening and creaking while it does.

“Security sure is good, huh. Fucking idiots. ” Twice walks forward, leaving Atsuhiro to stand outside the building, looking at the opened door in disappointment. An indent was left behind where Himiko’s foot had struck.

The elevator is out of order so they have to take the stairs. They’re old, groaning under the pressure and weight, some steps have holes in them and Jin almost got stuck in one of them on their way up.

The door to -presumably- Dabi’s apartment is as old as the rest of the whole place but it’s clear there’s more security here than in any other part of the building itself. It, however, is not a match to his own marble that can easily pass through the gap between the door and the floor, rolling easily inside with Twice in it.

Atsushiro wasn’t a fan of whatever this was but there’s not many choices one can do when an enthusiastic teenager has a rusty knife to his throat. He’d rather not take any chances and die, whether that be from bleeding out or an infection, thank you very much.

It’s easy to follow the aspects of Toga’s marvelous amazing and brilliant plan, -her words, not his- releasing the marble and letting Twice use his knowledge of opening locks. Apparently a thing he learned before joining The League.

The door opens and they saunter in, locking it behind and observing the table that has his colleague’s usual stitched coat folded on top, residing on the side of the small hallway that leads to an open kitchen-dining-living room. What catches their attention the most is the blanket covered kid residing on the couch and asleep.

Toga coos , whispering “She looks so cute, I wanna eat her up!”

She’s small, the kid. Short white hair that reaches to her shoulders, accompanied by a horn on her head. He can’t see what color her eyes are when they’re closed but he can see old scars littered around her body where the blanket doesn’t cover.

There’s a small TV on but at a low volume and, from the silly voices that come from it, he’s pretty sure it’s from a cartoon, something about a hamster, a turtle and a little duck. There are toys all around and plants too, giving life to the place.

It’s surprising that this is Dabi’s apartment because it’s so… Alive.

Jin and Himiko start rummaging around, opening cabinets or grabbing toys to inspect but it’s Compress who notices her first, Dabi’s daughter , awake and eyes opened in fear, looking at the three of them, practically intruders, in her house.

She shrieks loudly, jumping from her place on the couch to run clumsily and hide behind it, taking her starred blanket with her. The kid starts crying loudly, the sounds of her wails making the villains finally act.

They’re a flurry of voices, all trying to calm down the little girl while claiming they’re Dabi’s friends who just happened to visit him. It doesn’t work, evidently.

She starts screaming when her horn starts to glow a bright yellow, much more panicked than before, “Don’t- Go away! Don’t come close, please!”

Atsushiro is at a loss for words, he doesn’t know how to help but, if this is truly Dabi’s daughter, he wants to help her. After all, the man is one of them and the girl is his, so it makes her one of their own as well.

His mask is taken off, revealing the black balaclava he tends to wear when out of the confines of his bedroom at the base. Compress keeps his voice calm despite the panic of the situation and crouches, leaving a big space between the kid and the villains.

“Hey kiddo, I’m Atsushiro,” He hasn’t particularly revealed his actual name to The League, but it feels fitting to do so in such a dire situation. Perhaps in another universe he would have been able to do in his usual way, in a dramatic performance. “I’m Dabi’s friend, that’s your dad, right? What’s your name, little one?”

“Touchan?” She asks, in the midst of her panic. Her quirk doesn’t give up, making the kid hiss in what he assumes is pain.

“Yes, your dad. It’s okay lass, just breathe with me, okay?” He inhales and exhales loudly, observing how the kid’s eyes are red, similar to Tomura’s own. She’s trying to match his breathing, failing but definitely trying her best.

It’s when the light of her quirk flickers out for a second that he makes a mistake, moving slightly forward with a stretched arm towards her.

The child panics when she notices, scrambling backwards until she hits the walls with a loud No, don’t touch me!

Her quirk comes back strongly and so do her cries.

Sako is out of his depth and with a child that he doesn’t know how to help, he walks back defeatedly to a worried Twice and Himiko, who reverted to the kitchen.

They’re startled by the sound of the door opening, Dabi’s figure coming into the apartment. “Magne-san? The door was open.” He looks up, body stiffening when he notices them. “Why the fu- flip are you three here? Where’s Eri?”

Dabi’s clothes are quite a sight, his white shirt is a little torn, blood splashes in several places. His stitched pants have burns in them, a proof that they’re not fireproof like his uniform. There’s no coat on his person and his arms are on full display.

The most noticeable features are the edges of his scars are smoking and white roots are growing.

“We’re visiting you!” Toga says, not quite reading the room. “Is Eri the name of your daughter?”

“Shut up, Crazy. Move.” The man pushes past them, the kid, Eri’s cries, are now subdued but still there nonetheless and Dabi walks towards the sounds, crouching down next to her behind the couch. “Eri, Star, breathe with me, yeah?”

“D-Don’t come near, Touchan.” Her voice is shaking but her cries are getting shushed by her father.

“I’ve never seen Dabi-kun so… soft.” Himiko says, looking thoughtful towards the father and daughter.

“I guess he really is a father, huh.” Twice crosses his arms, “ I bet they’re not even related.

“Dabi seems to have white hair like her. The red eyes and huh, horn, must have come from the mother, I suppose.” Compress adjusts his posture, resting his lower back against the counter.

“Does that mean Dabi has a girlfriend?!” Toga smiles with enthusiasm, she gives little jumps of excitement around the kitchen, blushing and daydreaming. “I wanna meet her, I bet she has such good blood if Dabi-kun likes her!”

“I didn’t think Dabi was particularly interested in women.” Atsushiro thinks out loud.

Twice snorts, “Honestly me neither. I bet he likes pretty boys!

It’s only when Dabi’s voice rings out through the apartment with an Oh shit- that they remember where they were.

A yellow-white light engulfs the villain and his child and both scream, out of surprise or fear.

It’s quite… painful.

And Dabi knows pain, closely even.

It reminds him of a mountain with no one else but himself and the red-orange of his own fire.

He’s hugging Eri, trying and failing to protect her from her own power.

He thinks she’s hugging him back.

A memory of the aftermath of a nightmare comes to him, of Eri calling it a curse because all it has done was damage people.

Dabi just hugs his kid tighter, whispering sweet words trying to calm her, “It’s okay starlight, I’ve got you, just breathe.” , humming a tune when he doesn’t find the correct words, “I see you my shining star, I’m here. Everything’s okay.”

Eri passes out after a while, all her energy spent on her quirk. The horn on her head is a minuscule size, very different than it used to be during the time she’s been here. Analyzing what he knows, her quirk accumulates energy or whatever else to use it and it activates when her emotions go crazy.

It’s similar to a glass of water being slowly filled until it all spills, Dabi muses.

He picks the girl up and engulfs her with the blanket around her, just in time for a sleepy Magne to appear out of their bedroom.

Dabi’s mad but he’d rather not deal with this while carrying his child. He walks past the woman, closing the door to the bedroom and laying Eri down carefully, covering his star and laying Rindou beside her.

When he finally walks out, Twice has an ukulele. The confusion on his face and literally everyone else’s is clear. Dabi doesn’t have a ukulele.

Jin proceeding to play and sing an entire 10 minute apology song was… something. His anger has dissipated to annoyance, sadly enough.

“Sorry Dabi-kun, we didn’t mean to scare your daughter!” Toga bows, “She’s very cute though, can you maybe let me-” She doesn’t get to finish, because he slaps her head.

“No blood drinking from Eri. I accept your apology as long as you don’t ever do that again.” He finishes with crossing his arms, looking at all of them intensely.

“My apologies, Dabi dear, I was influenced” - Codeword for threatened- “by Himiko. I tried to calm Eri yet I failed, I feel very bad about it.” Mister Compress apology is sincere, an opposite of the man’s typical dramatic flair of deceiving. He’s still not bearing his masks, caramel brown eyes as honest as they can be.

“I’m sorry, sweetheart. All this probably wouldn’t have happened if I hadn’t fallen asleep.” Magne rubs her robotic arm, looking down in shame. His stomach feels sick when she isn’t showing confidence.

“It’s… Not fine, but I’ll acknowledge your apologies so long as you guys don’t ever do any of that again.” He puts a hand on his hip, putting his other hand on Twice’s back in support. “And Magne, It’s okay. You were tired and I gave you permission to take a nap, taking care of Eri is tiring, I get it.” Dabi sighs, walking around the strewn toys to sit on the sofa.

It’s only then that he looks down at his arms.

“Huh.”

“Oh, your scars are lighter!” Magne says, sitting beside him.

“Seems like it. Probably from the kid’s quirk, I guess that’s why it hurt.” He touches near the seams, huffing when a few of his staples fall down with ease but the usual blood doesn’t follow.

“It hurt you? The cuts you had earlier are also gone.” Compress sits on the other side of the couch, letting Himiko and Jin to sit on the floor in front of them. There's chairs they can drag but it seems the rugs are enough to soften the floor, judging by Twice splaying his whole body while laying down.

“Yeah, it’s, uh- a rewind thingy. Kinda crazy.” He explains, scratching where his elbow is itching before putting his arm behind the couch where Compress sits.

“That’s powerful,” Atsushiro ponders, getting a nod from Magne in affirmation. “And useful, y’know?” Dabi feels a protective feeling from that word, scowling in response.

“Yeah, sure.” He dismisses, waving a hand in Mister’s direction. “We’ll have to learn how to control it so she can live normally.”

“No villany?” Toga teases, giggling.

“No villany, Himiko-chan. Eri deserves to live a good life, she wasn’t dealt a good hand before our friend here picked her up.” Magne says, reaching with a hand towards the teenager’s hair to ruffle it.

“Picked her up?” Compress asks, his comment is ignored by a gasp from Toga herself.

“Was her mother not good? You don’t know how to pick a nice girlfriend?” She asks and the rest of them let out a chortle at Dabi’s expression of utter disgust.

Once Dabi composes himself, he responds as nonchalantly as possible, “Girlfriend? I don’t have those nor do I want them, Crazy.” He huffs, rolling his eyes.

“Then where did Eri come from? You both have white hair, last I knew it’s not very common. Bet it was with a boy!” Twice cuts in, shaking his head at his other voice.

“Let’s move on.” Dabi says, clearly uncomfortable with the topic. They assume that he doesn’t like to talk about his sexuality but in reality he’d rather not talk about his hair being white. He will buy the hair dye first thing in the morning.

“Me and Jin will win!” Toga exclaims with a pumped up fist, declaring war on all of them.

It’s a few hours later when The League minus Dabi are coming back to the base that Atsushiro notices. He pats at the pocket where his wallet tends to be, finding it empty. “Oh, that little bitch.”

“Sako?” Magne looks back to where the man had paused his walk, a little behind them. “You okay?”

“Dabi pick-pocketed me!”

She laughs in response, “Deserved, to be honest.” And he sighs defeatedly.

“I guess so.”

They start to walk towards the other two, noticing how Jin seemed to be patting everywhere on his body while Himiko giggles at him.

“MY WALLET!”
