He stood absolutely still, breathing deeply, allowing the feel of the stage beneath his feet, the scorching of the lights across his skin, to ground him. Lifting his head, he looked out into the crowd. For a moment, nausea rose up inside him and his vision started to swim as he took in the sea of faces. Another deep breath. Ritsuka swallowed down the awful, fluttering sensation inside him and concentrated on the people in the front. There. Three boys around his age. The first two didn’t really catch his attention, but the third was looking right at him, a challenge in his honeyed brown eyes.
Ritsuka grinned. Challenge accepted.

When he asked for self-defense lessons, she happily obliged. Self defense turns into a planned fight, and all of a sudden, she has only 3 weeks to teach Denki Kaminari how to fight. But, as she, Jirou, and Kirishima slowly figure out why he was targeted in the first place, they learn that the sunniest, most smiley boy in their class didn't always live so carefree.
OrI was tired of Kaminari background fics either being pure torture or super basic, so I wrote one right in the middle.

Takes place from Angel's first day in Hell through to the Dirty Healings comic and his arrival at the Hazbin Hotel. It's as close to canon as I could make it, so there is no happy ending at the end of this. Although I do have a sequel idea set post-season 2 that will be HuskerDust.

“Does you telling me this mean we’re not strangers anymore?” Michael couldn’t keep the amusement out of his tone.

“What’s your full name?” Even then, Michael knew that he wouldn’t be getting an answer. It was only confirmed when the boy – Percy – grinned at him.
