Summary
Makoto is an exceedingly average teenager in a world on the brink of disaster. Abducted along with a group of supposedly super powered teenagers to be ‘kept safe’ inside a prison like building, his search for answers leads him into more trouble than he bargained for.
As the group investigates the history of Hope’s Peak as well as their own mysterious origins, Makoto is told he may be the last line of defense against a mysterious force that wishes to turn them into the ultimate despair to unleash on mankind.
Makoto Naegi is not a hero by any standards, and compared to his newfound friends he’s certainly nothing special. But he’s got something to fight for now: his friends, his family, his own free will… maybe even the fate of the world.
No pressure.

Summary
Shuichi had been sick for as long as he could remember, and has recently resigned himself to spend his days confined in a hospital as the growing turmoil of the outside world quickly becomes too dangerous. His life is boring. He watches the news to pass the time, theorizing and marveling at this new group of vigilantes known as Ultimates try and save society from completely collapsing in on himself. Despite everything, a small part of him feels… almost lucky (almost) to be living in a world where something like actual superheroes seem to exist.
Until the changes start, anyway.
When an expected development in his health leads to the disappearance of his closest friend, Shuichi is forced to flee everything he’s ever known in an effort to find the truth. He finds himself thrown in the midst of a group of runaways that all seem to come from situations similar to his own, and his… somewhat unnerving new abilities may prove vital to the group’s survival as they’re faced with betrayal and deception at every turn.
Shuichi Saihara did not want to be a hero- but the world never seems to care about what people want.

Summary
Hajime wakes up, and that’s the only memory he has.
Trapped on an island with a handful strangers, Hajime tries to find his place in the group as they struggle with the reality that not only are they trapped here until further notice, but they’ve developed some… strange mutations during their time spent comatose.
His mission for answers about his own past leads to secrets that were better left undiscovered, and puts the lives of all his new friends in danger. He’s caught in a race against time to save his friends from the people who trapped them here, organizations that want them dead, and a mysterious force trying to turn them against each other. The world is a lot different than they remember it, there may be more to the gaps in their memory than they originally thought.
Hajime’s not sure this whole ‘super power’ thing is all it’s cracked up to be, but he’s trying his best.
