Summary
Alastor winced as he removed his coat.
It had been almost three weeks since the final stand off against Adam and the other exterminators. Alastor had retreated to his radio tower once it had become clear that he was no match for Adam. He had barely managed to make it, with the large bleeding gash across his chest. He had dug up some bandages, tightly wrapping the wound with shaking hands. Not wanting to appear weak in front of the other residents in such a state, he remained away for another few days until he felt somewhat confident with his masking skills.
Alastor didn’t really know why, but he didn’t want to worry anyone.

Hell had a lot of viruses. After all, would Hell really be such without the prospect of illness? There tended to be multiple rises of new infections and illnesses, just to keep the residents on their toes.
There had been a recent surfacing of a flu strain. The outbreak seemed to be dependent on power level; new sinners seemed to be immune, whereas it was taking down overlords. The sickness had started to make its rounds in the pride ring, but the hotel had been lucky to not have caught it yet.
Well, at least that's what they had originally thought.
