Summary
Will is a little odd - ADHD, anxious, and generally singing to himself. He's okay, though - he's got a few good friends and a work-life balance that hasn't killed him yet. Then he meets Nico di Angelo - a quiet, dark-eyed art student that he instantly falls in love with.
Excerpt:
"I don't need to. You'll bring something no matter what I tell you, so what's the point of asking?" Leo grabbed Will's bag from his hand. "Nope, not with your shoulder still hurting."
"It's fine," Will protested but didn't push it. His shoulder actually did still hurt from accidentally smacking into the wall this morning, though he wasn't sure how Leo knew that.
Leo ignored him. "The game night is tomorrow at six, so you'll have plenty of time after classes. You shouldn't bring anything, but since you're going to anyway, bring some chocolate. Try KitKats, because Nico likes them and Jason says he's stressed out this week. Do you want to order tacos?"
"Yeah," Will answers. "Who's Nico?"
"Want his number?" Leo punched in the code for their door and pushed it open. It was the only door in the building with a code - Leo had installed it after someone on the first floor got robbed.

Summary
This is Nico's point of view in 'You're My Favorite Melody'.
Nico is depressed, ADHD, and just generally exhausted and trying to get through life in one piece. He's not ready to meet new people. He's not interested in a relationship.
He never expected to meet Will Solace.Excerpt:
"Thanks," Nico pulled out various containers of fruit and started to put them away. Strawberries, raspberries, grapes. Granola bars, crackers, chocolate, electrolyte mix, eggs - "What is this?"
"Trail mix," Jason supplied. He shrugged, emptying a few of the bags and helping to put everything away. "It's got some nuts in it? I don't know. Leo's roommate said something about nuts being good when you're depressed."
"His roommate?" Nico put the trail mix away. He'd try it, if nothing else.
"Yeah. Will, remember? I've mentioned him before."
Nico remembered - Leo and Annabeth had both mentioned him. "Yeah. The smart one, right? Medical student?"
"Yeah. He might be at the game night."

Summary
Leo is fine. He's got a stable job, he's passing his classes, and he's in a probably stable relationship with the most perfect guy to walk the Earth.
So he's fine, because there's not really another viable option.
Except that maybe, possibly, he's not fine.
And maybe people are starting to notice.

Summary
Jason has got everything under control. A business degree that he didn't choose, a relationship he's learning to navigate, and a solid understanding of what he's supposed to do and who he's supposed to be.
Except everything that is supposed to be right is starting to feel kind of wrong. Like maybe he's not as in control as he thought he was.
And Jason's really not sure what to do with that.
