Summary
Most people assumed that Tyler and Boone met in high school, they’d be correct. However, people are wrong to think that they were immediately attached to the hip, they swung in and out of each other’s orbit, bumping into each other at tailgates and chatting lightly before going their separate ways. It’s not that they weren’t friends, they just tended to gravitate towards different groups. They occasionally ate lunch together or went to see a movie, but they rarely were around each other one-on-one. When they were 18, they truly became inseparable, brought together by a storm.

Summary
Boone let his eyes fall shut for a moment before batting them open again, gazing down. He heaved a sigh as Tyler rested his head on the inside of his thigh, his stubble gently scraping against the sensitive skin. He took a stilling breath, feeling himself come down from the deadly combination of his own thoughts and Tyler’s touch. He closed his eyes briefly, hoping for something, but he couldn't decide what. Hoping for Tyler to be the kind of guy to get up and leave after first-date-sex, or maybe that he’d get the memo and lie there with him while he came crashing down. Guys rarely got the memo.

Summary
All the Wranglers knew one of the few rules Tyler, and surprisingly Boone, had set in place. ‘I’m on Fire’ by Bruce Springsteen was forbidden to play in their presence, it was odd considering both were measurable Springsteen fans or at least that’s what Kate thought as occasionally she traveled with them. She had learned about this rule after putting on a ‘banned Springsteen CD’ in the truck one day.
The Wranglers, minus Boone and Tyler, sat outside the RV while the two men went to a local motel, hoping for open rooms. Lily sat by, pulling hot dogs and marshmallows out of a cooler, while Dani built a fire, and Dexter quietly read a book.
“What’s, uh,” Kate nervously cleared her throat, “What’s with the Springsteen ban?” At her question Dexter huffed, Lily giggled, and Dani fully chuckled, her head shaking with laughter.
“I forget about that stupid ban sometimes,” Dani said, tossing a final log into the fire.
“That’s certainly a story.” Dexter shook his head, with a sigh.
