Summary
Having been crowned champion of the Light-Heavyweight Division at the Arcadion, the Warrior of Light sought to celebrate with her newfound friend, Yaana—otherwise known as the rookie fighter Black Cat. But when Wicked Thunder—Eutrope, Yaana's older sister and former champion of the Heavyweight Division—returned to the ring to demand her soul, the Warrior of Light knew she was outmatched. Bringing all that she could to bear, she eked out what looked to the audience like a victory. Yet she knew in her heart it was anything but.
Days later, as she tries to relax at the Neon Stein, she receives a mysterious call on her linkpearl demanding that she return alone to Tritails Training—Yaana's home and privately owned gym. Knowing that Wicked Thunder awaits her within, the Warrior of Light reflects upon the battle that nearly saw her end and wonders what the enigmatic Eutrope might have in store for her this time. Little does she realize that this chance encounter would change the direction of her life forever...

Approached by the head of strategic management at Ascension Arcadia, a Milala man with a voice as boisterous and dignified as the suit he wore, Galbana Lily entered into the Ascension Arcadia Championship—a tournament in which fighters infused with the feral souls of fiends would compete to be crowned grand champion of the Arcadion. Though Metem offered her use of the souls of former champions, that she might stand as an equal against foes with power akin to the gods, Lily insisted on leaving their use up to her discretion. Summary
Having consigned Preservation's leadership to the dustbin of history, the Warrior of Light turns her attention back to Ascension Arcadia. With her victory over the Cruiserweight Champion, Howling Blade, she is at last ready to move up to the Heavyweight division. The abduction her beloved Eutrope and her sister Neyuni weigh heavily on her heart, and though she'd like nothing more than to rush to their rescue, for now she and her allies—Yaana and Retsarra—must bide their time, planning in the shadows while preparing for the grueling battles that lie ahead.
Elswhere, a plot unfolds between the captive Eutrope and her conspiratorial counterparts. Will their aspirations be met with success? Or will chaos reign, bringing unstoppable change to the ring they hold dear?
