Summary
On a starry night in the middle of November, a unicorn was murdered and left in the forest, its ichor blood washing away the last few leaves on the floor.
On that same night, two wizards reunited for the first time in years, their eyes both surveying the carnage left behind.
The mythologist who studied Fae insisted the murder was caused by a Borfnir Fae, stripped from home and sent into a panicking rampage. The auror claimed it was the work of a dark wizard, one he'd been chasing for long already.
Both men have their minds set, sure that the other is wrong. None stopped to think, that maybe both of them were, and something far more sinister was at play.
