Summary
I remembered the afterparty. A kind smile. The world slowed, minimized to it, and its focus moved up to gaze at a pair of soft, warm, green eyes.
“Something caught your eye?” I’d asked.
And I remember my voice saying, “You’re Hozier, right?”
He looked at me like a deer in headlights. “Yeah. Ehm—Andrew’s alright too, though.”
