She flings her goggles from her face with such haste, they fly from her hand, then smash into the cave wall, glass shattering.
“Well,” he notes, “someone’s a bit violent, aren’t they?”
“Who the fuck are you?” she demands. She’s still on Tairn’s back, but the man is sitting on the floor. Beside his gryphon.Or, in a world where the Tyrrish Rebellion was successful, Xaden Riorson became a gryphon flier, but Violet is still sent to Athebyne. Only this time, she's alone.
